Mixed Messages

I keep hearing about the PATH act credits (EIC and ACTC). However certain websites say that the CTC credit is included in the PATH delay. Last year, I didn’t file until the beginning of February therefore it was after the IRS released funds for PATH when I received my refund. I was hoping someone with actual knowledge could definitively explain.

  I do NOT have EIC or ACTC- I simply have CTC credit, which does not “add” any extra cash to my refund. Does that mean I will not be affected by PATH?

  Just talked to Jackson Hewitt and they say 4 credits will delay a refund: ACTC, EIC, CTC and some American credit. I’m so flippin confused!
