I was accepted on Feb 1 and the website and the phone number both state that there is no record of my return…
Filed Jan 27, accepted Jan 31. Still not showing anything. When I call the automated number it says my information doesn’t match. My brother filed a few days after me, and his is already showing.
DID the website update for anyone who received a refund. I filed on 31st and accepted on the 1st and they dont seem to have my info just yet

I got my state return today. Accepted on 1/28/2017. Filled with TurboTax and claimed the EIC. State returns seem to be on time this year.
Thought I would post an update;
My fiancé got his return a month or so ago. Mine has been delayed and FINALLY finished processing and has a DD date of 7/21. They have held my money for SIX MONTHS now. Fucking unreal.
I filed on 1/23, not sure when I was accepted for state. I called state wmr and was given a ddd of 2/7. I was unable to pull any status on the website the whole time.
Filed on the 19th with H&R Block fed accepted 27th state accepted 30th. Can not check WMR either for state. Fed I have 1 bar. I have EIC and Child tax. No money yet from either.
It’s been my experience that once it’s to the garnishment stage, you’re screwed. That sucks, I’ve been there.
bankruptcy is the only way, unless you can prove hardship
Can a Michigan state garnishment for a debt be stop from taking your state refund? If so what would I have to do?
Just wanted to say that I have gotten my MI taxes back already on 1/27/17. I filed on 1/10, and was accepted on 1/13. I was never able to see any updates on the state WMR, it was just in my account one day.
Accepted January 19 sent in ID and w2 which was received March 30 but, not scanned into their system until April 11. I was given an expected completion date of September 1. I have called several times and given different answers every time. The automated system has an expected completion date of December 5, One woman agreed it had been tok long but told me to call back September 26 and she would push it through. I called that day and the woman that time said there was nothing that she could do and I have to wait 24 weeks from the date my ID and w2 was scanned [tomorrow, October 11]. It has now been almost a full 9 months and I have nothing.
Michigan, what a mess! Filed late January, got Federal back the first week of February. Michigan needed identity info, did that. Now the return shows proccessed/complete and it had a direct deposit date of 3/1. On 3/1 that changed to 3/2. On 3/2 that changed to 3/3. This morning it says 3/4! What the heck??
Got our letters yesterday. Have to send in copies of our W2’s AND Driver’s Licences for verification and then wait another 12+ freaking weeks (“they’ll be processed in the order they’re received”) to process. What the shit was the point of filling in my DL info if I have to do it again anyway? Really unhappy with the way MI is doing things this year. I’ve had my federal return almost a month now.
Edited To Add: Postmark on the letter was 2/12.Anyone pending review update yet? First it was September 20th now I’ve moved up to June 2nd. Pretty crazy it’s just w2 what we paid in is all we get back don’t qualify for anything else.
I assumed I would have to go online for a identity screening , but the letter says they want a copy of my drivers license and copy of any applicable to my return: W2s , 1099’s,SSA-1099,or K-1’s .
I’m really confuse because I’m self employed and don’t have those. Has anyone else received this letter?I filed State of Mi and accepted the 21 of January. Mi 1040CR is pending review until September 17th 2016 I hope I get my refund before then

Filed my 1040 & 1040cr through turbotax deluxe on 01/28/2016 irs was accepts and I got refund but state says both pending review and a completion date of early September wtf? Why is it gonna take that long I have rent to pay ASAP!

Was finally able to check my MI return and I’m under manual review with a date of 9/4/16.
Mine says pending review….until 08/31/2016 hopefully they release it before then

I called today to 1 517 636 4486 and was told they are not processing state returns until after January 29th. I filed 1/19 Accepted per TT 1/20.Anyone know how long we can expect to receive our state refund after they start processing? Hopefully right away.
So I just checked the refund page for mi and they added this year to the list but it still ask you to wait 14 days but them adding this year to the list is still progress.
My state was accepted on 1/21. I don’t have the option to check 2015 when I log in either. Guess they’re just having us wait.
Me either…..I called and they said that they couldn’t see it in their system….and to call back in 14 business days
When I try to check the stat of my state refund it doesn’t even give the option for 2015 on Michigan’s site….anybody else saw this?

I JUST VIEWED MY STATE TRANSCRIPTS AND IT HAS TWO. ONE FOR 1040 AND ONE FOR 1040CR7 I BELIEVE, THEY BOTH SAY PENDING REVIEW AND BOTH HAVE A DATE OF 5-14-2015!!! DOES THIS MEAN MY FEDERAL WILL TAKE THIS LONG TOO??!!!
