lost bars after update still have tax topic 152 and ordered both transcript?

I’ve had bars all this time until after the update this morning. My bars were gone but I still had tax topic 152. I was able to order both transcripts (account and return). Is anyone else in the same boat?

Just an update: I called the correct Verification Id number and did have to answer a few questions. The agent said : “I have updated your acct and you can respect either a refund or a letter for more information with in 9 weeks”. Now mind you she sounded like she didn’t know why I was being sent to her for verfication so maybe she was just playing a long but I am pretty sure I answered one question wrong out of the 4 but maybe you only have to get 3 right…. Ugh annoyed and confused. I hope I get an update soon now! :)

Bars dissapeared 2/6 after update. I did call the IRS today and spoke to two different ladies. One who told me I needed to verify ID and then an ID theft person (was the wrong number I was too call) and was told that I DIDN’T need to verify ID but that my Employer did not verify my wages. I spoke to my employer of 3 years and they said that was verified back in early January. Everything is the same as last year. SO I now know I am getting the run around from the IRS and guess I just sit and wait like the rest of you. I hope we hear something soon.

I am by no means an expert, but this happened to me 4 years ago. I had a tax offset that i didn’t know about.

I filed 1/19 on Sunday 2/7 lost all bars still have tax topic 152…called irs they said my refund is delayed and to call id verification but they won’t talk to me till tomorrow… No letter, no different code on wmr…wth

I am also in the same boat BUT from what I am seeing and I talked to TT yesterday they said it is nothing to be concerned about unless you get a code. TT agent told me they see a pattern of this happening then people for their DDD. There is alot of different opinions out there about bc your being reviewed or bc you need to ID verify. I was told not to do anything unless I see a code other then 152. I am trying to be patient as possible…lol Today is the 21st day and now I see people calling IRS and them getting told today is NOT the 21st day or Today is the 21st day but still a processing day…. Either way none of us have any info or movement.

I highly doubt ALL of these people like us are under review and if so then the IRS really screwed up this year.

I am in the same exact boat. Could order both transcripts 2/5/16, bars disappeared 2/8/16, showing TT152 still and amount.
