Is it possible to get an update/DDD without being able to order transcripts?

I filed early and was accepted Jan 12.. tried ordering transcripts for the last couple weeks and it kept saying some part of my information was wrong. Anyways, Monday into Tuesday of this week my accepted bar disappeared and it said your returns are still being processed so I panicked a little and called the IRS. She told me you cannot order transcripts until your return is complete by them and also the message I received yesterday was nothing to worry about. Last night I was finally approved and got a DDD.

unfortunately there has been way too much confusion on being able to order transcripts…..and what it means….. when in reality…you can’t tell….here has been my experience…..last year my return was kicked out the system and did not post to the master file and had to be processed manually ….I called the irs and they mailed my transcript WITHOUT BEING POSTED TO THE MASTER FILE….so you never know….BUT THE ASSOCIATION OF ORDERING TRANSCRIPTS AND THAT IT MEANS YOUR APPROVED MUST STOP…….BECAUSE THAT IS NOT TRUE…..

Of course anything its possible but unlikely..I have heard ppl say that its happened but the majority can only get a ddd after they can order return transcripts. For me, last yr I kept trying and I couldnt get them until the night before I got my DDD
