Is it possible for your bars in WMR to change during the day? Or is it just overnight?

  When your return is initially received by the IRS, that bar can show up throughout the day. However, other updates occur overnight from Tuesday night/Wednesday morning or Friday night/Saturday morning … at least that is how it has gone in years past.
  
  I can tell you that if you check too often, you will lock yourself out of WMR on the IRS site and it will say no info available and you will not see anything until the next day. But, it does NOT update once you have that first bar throughout the day so there is no use in checking it more than once a day anyway.
