It IS the IRS fault for the PATH act. Who do we think went to the government to ask for new law? I don’t know who reports to who and this is only my opinion but in my experience of dealing with the IRS for 26 years (wow I’m getting old) they will do anything to delay or keep your money. But wow when it comes to taking money? They can sure do that fast! Lol. Honestly what about all the people who file after the 15th? They don’t get checked as close? It doesn’t make sense. So the fraud people will just wait next time round. It’s 2017 and with all the technology we the great USA have, this was the best they could come up with? Delay lower income people’s tax refund? I’m sorry but that group needs the most! I know I talk about “when I get my money…” alllll year long. Lol. BUT I guess it could be worse, we could live in a country with no tax refunds. I don’t know what to think anymore. Sorry about my soap box rant. Lol. Good luck everyone!

They’ve been very transparent about the PATH act. It’s not their fault people don’t like it. But if someone steals your identity, gets your tax refund by filing a fraudulent tax return and you have to spend months fixing it, you’d be upset about that too.

if you read what it says on that website about complaints what you posted has nothing to do with it. That website is for complaints about fraud. not just because people are upset
