Earlier today I had the message saying your return had not been processed, some returns may take longer ….etc
Now it says
Your return has been received but has not completed processing. Your 2018 tax year refund has not yet been issued.

Still sitting in that stupid message for the main person on my taxes and ‘not yet in process’ on the secondary person listed on the return, so they haven’t even looked at them yet.
Cripes this is a slow year.

I spoke with someone today and she confirmed that I would have to id verify again this year. She also told me that they haven’t sent it out to me yet 😥. But to check the mail regularly because they won’t resend it. 😡

Yeah I received mine on the 26th last year and the year before on the 5th.. I wonder when they update
Last year I filed on the Jan 25th. State was accepted on Jan 30th and DD for Feb 7th. Usually just ONE week. This year they are super slow

No DDD as of yet.I have the long message about processing, ID info, etc. I only had to ID verify the first year I moved rob indiana in 2016 so who knows. HRB has my husband and I upload copies of our IDs with our returns which was new. Hopefully that helps. In my opinion IDs should be submitted with all tax returns, e-file and paper.
They seem to be running super slow this year.
When does Indiana where’s my refund update
The only way to verify is after receiving the letter with a unique #. Very easy to do and like I stated before it immediately updated my info on the DOR site…Saturday around 3:30. I know mail was screwy due to the vortex here around Indianapolis so delayed it by a few days

I’ve been having that long message since. I’ve had to ID verify the last 2 years ago I’m assuming I’ll have to this year as well, I just haven’t received it in the mail yet 😞If you have to verify how can you do it if you don’t know you have to

Filed 1/17. Accepted 1/24ish?I did a id verification that was dated from 1/30, received today…mail hadn’t run Wednesday, Thursday due to the weather. Anyways, it updated my WMR almost immediately. Around 3:30 from received/processing to an offset to the Irs. Bummer…
Thats what i want to know.. Is it random or a certain day? I was also accepted the 29th and dont have a DD yet.
Since i was accepted the evening of the 29th.. Is it possible for me to get an update on Monday/Tuesday

If you have the “some returns may take longer to process” message, does that mean you have to ID verify and if so do you HAVE to have a letter? With the freezing temps mail hasn’t run for 2 days here.

Still waiting for IU to release mine as I never owed them anything and they still have it on hold but said they sent a release request on 2/28 but DOR said they haven’t gotten anything yet. So ready to be done with taxes!
Well… looks like the walmart moneycard kick my deposit back… What else could go wrong… I needed this money so bad right now. Can’t believe this is happening right now.I’m so fed up with money and having to wait on something of someone else :(

$*** returned to the Department.Anyone else had issues with Indiana not depositing on said DDD? I got a ddd of 4/3 and have yet to see anything on my walmart moneycard. I called IN DOR this morning and they won’t even look into it until at least tomorrow (48 hours past the deposit date) and I have a feeling that tomorrow they are going to do the same thing to me. This is really really frustrating as I had to do the ID verification which delayed it then this happens… I had no problem with my federal return hitting my card.
IU incorrectly put my refund on hold. Contacted them and they said they released the hold 2/22….still showing on hold as of 2/27 and nothing’s updated. IU said it could now take 4-6 weeks to get my return back!!!

FINALLY the wait for my Federal DDD is over!!!!! I updated this morning to a DDD of 2/22. Im using my regular bank account so ill have to wait till that day to get my funds. Im just glad I got the date!!! Hope you got some good news this morning!!Filed 2/11/2018

You were right! I got got a DDD of 2-20-18. I’m just happy to have a date!Let me know if you get a date tomorrow I’m hoping to see mines tomorrow since I have Netspend and it usually deposits two days early so hopefully I’ll have it tomorrow

I hope I get some good news tomorrow morning!! Maybe calling custo.er service and doing the call back option helped cause nothing was happening until I did that…Lol i called at 12:15pm and they said it was a 30mim wait. They just now called (3hours later) while I was outside..Oh well.Crystal

I would try calling them again because if you verified then you should’ve changed to the message where it has your amount you getting back it’s still processing cause the message you have now is what I was stuck on until I called them yesterday and fixed my problem and my status changed that day so I would call them again if you feel like being on hold for foreverI called Indiana DOR. While on hold it gave the option for them to call me back when my turn came up, so I did that. But, I never got the call back. Then i Mt Internet went out so I had to call and get that taken care of. I have no Internet till tomorrow afternoon but they are taking $25 off my bill since they can’t come out today.
So after all that I decided to check the Indiana site again. This morning I had the long message now I have this

I was on hold with them for about 45 mins the lady that did my taxes put in for enterprise zone which I didn’t get this year cause I moved I guess she assumed I had it and I called yesterday to see what the hold up was and I told them to take that off so it reduced it by a couple of hundred which is fine by me I’m just happy to have a date finally! I checked later that day it had the message where it gave me my amount and it’s still processing message then I checked this morning and had a date for FridayNina

I just looked at my refund deposit date for the last 3 years and just realized that they are all on a Wednesday. I also noticed that I filed at the end of January and I have always received it in March. So i will probably get my refund till the first week of March since I’ve already done the identity verification.
Don’t surprise me at all coming from Indiana.

My State gave me a dd 2/12 but was received 2/8. Indiana sux! I had an offset for a ticket.

Accepted – 2/3USPS Informed Delivery shows we were supposed to receive a letter yesterday from IN DOR, however it was not in our mailbox. Hoping to receive it tomorrow to get the verify process done and get a DD date. Such a pain lol.
Hopefully I’ll update next week. I seem to always have issues with Indiana. 2 years ago it took till April to receive my refund of $1! LOL

I filed 1/25 and that’s the message I’m stuck on right nowHas anyone been stuck on the short message your refund is being processed. I filed 1/31 and haven’t received any update.
Filed 1/29. Indiana return accepted 1/30. DD 2/8. Easy peasy.

Also I received a call today saying they were from the IRS and they were going to issue a federal warrant for my arrest if I didn’t call this number . I didn’t get to hear the whole message because my phones broke. I know it’s a scam. The number they wanted me to call started with a 2. So be careful out there. I reported the call to the IRS already.
No update yet. I’m just glad my Id verification was done early this year.
PLUS every year I get on these sites and learn something new! Last year I learned you could order transcripts. I had NEVER heard of those. This year I learned about SSA.GOV. You can create an account and look at your wage amounts for each year and learn how many credits you need for different benefits. I also learn how much my children and husband can get if I die. I guess it depends on who you went threw. I used Turbo Tax and they are taking my fees out of my Federal return.Chanta: my fees came out of my state. I used Tax Act who uses Republic Bank. I received my refund last night around 5pm, my ddd was today. HTH
if you owe fees will they take your state or will they wait for your federal?

I had that long message when I first filed then it went to the short message of just telling my return hasn’t completed processing and no refund has been issued yet. I think at this point I’ll get my federal before I get my state. I made sure they had the right address cause I just moved and they did so if they send something at least it’ll come to the right address now i just wait impatiently for something to happen lolNina
I honestly don’t know. Last year I waited a month or so after I filed before I called and found out.
This year my screen has had the same long message since my return was accepted.I just called to see if I maybe had to verify or if they needed any other info from me and she told me nothing showed in the system that I needed to verify or send anything my state is just basically processing. They would’ve told me if I needed to do something further right?

At least this year I received my ID verification letter! last year I end up calling to find out what was taking so long and they verified my I’d on the phone. I never received any mail from them. I had filed Jan 29 or around that and didn’t receive my refund till March 15..Lol
But, I can’t for the life of me remember how long it took to get a DDD after I verified my Id.
