ILLINOIS REFUND QUESTION

We filed and accepted 1/27. I’ve been checking the Illinois Where’s My Refund and it has said it’s processing or whatever. Today I checked it and I got this message:

WHERE’S MY REFUND?
Your current year’s return is not showing on our computer files. If you filed electronically, please allow up to 7 days from the date you transmitted your return for it to appear on our computer files. If you mailed your return, please allow up to ten weeks from the date you mailed your return for it to appear on our computer files.

Anyone else’s change? What’s it mean? When is Illinois supposed to start deposits?

State refund was in account when I checked it at 8am on 2/17.

Just a update to my last post. Amex Serve has posted the funds. I have been watching it all day but about 5pm the IL state refund was there.

Filed 1/26 with EITC using TaxAct.

I checked this morning on Republic website and at 7am this morning they had IL state refund.

I am still waiting on the deposit to AMEX Serve.

It’s 2pm. I thought it would have been sent by now.

Sidenote:

mytax.illinois.gov says this.

“Your return has been processed. Your refund will be issued on or around February 17, 2017. Please allow up to 2 business days for your refund to be deposited into your account. You should review your bank statement or check with your financial institution to verify receipt.”

My State is pending in my bank account now…. I’m just hoping and praying this federal will come soon, ugh. This awful wait!

We have never got state before federal either. Last year it took almost 6 weeks to receive state.

My refund was deposited on to my Walmart Money card. First time I have ever gotten my state before my federal. Nice that Illinois decided this year not to take the whole 4 weeks.

Got a text earlier and now an email from the comptroller that my refund has been processed and to expect it in the next 5 days but nither the Illinois refund or the comptroller site has updated. Not in my account yet.

The Illinois My refund updated today with this. “Your return has been processed; however a date for your refund has not been determined. Please continue to check the refund inquiry for an updated status on your refund.” Logged I to my tax and it now shows a $0 balance instead of the negative balance of my refund. So it looks like it was sent to the comptroller. Checked their site and just shows last year. Signed up to get a text from the comptroller once they receive it. Looks like it should be any day now they start sending it out.

The March 1st stuff is all from last year. This year Illinois said 4 weeks from date they accepted. I logged into mytax and can see that mine is done processing and just waiting for Illinois to send it out.

I read somewhere that Illinois isn’t releasing any funds until March 1. Don’t know how true but wouldn’t surprise me with Illinois.

I filed 1/26 accepted 1/26 I checked wmr and was processing then ordered account transcript week later ordered my return transcript the next day I went to wmr and got the path message…Just waiting until the 15th…Oh I have the emerald card so should post on the 15th……Fingers crossed

Update:
Just checked Illinois Where’s my refund? (1050am Monday 2/13/17) and my message has changed back to what it said before Saturday. Weird.

I filed and was accepted on the 30th and till this day every time I check WMR it says “we do not have current return on our computer files” what does this mean ? And when will I get a refund ? I hope we don’t have to wait till march like last year
