      I have had to verify the last 4 years.. how many more years will I need to do this????

          Thanks @Jamar707. I did correct myself below. It is free, however, I have met a few Shysters. Otherwise, you’re right. It is a free service.

            Unless something has changed that we don’t know about yet, there is no fee for a Tax Advocate.

                    That’s very unfortunate that you have had to do this. I too had this in 2017 and 2018. It sucks!!!

                    I have no clue what triggers these. The irs told me that it’s just random and there’s no specific reason why it happens.
