I give up on IRS and WMR?. I guess I was one of the less fortunate. Nothing never changed still at one bar. I am just stressing for what, it’s normal like my stress is going to change anything.

Federal Government Employees are members of the LARGEST UNION in the USA and the IRS whining about “budget cuts” when the $10.7 BILLION Budget included $82,000,000 in Raises, $30,000,000 in additional CONTRIBUTIONS to RETIREMENT ACCOUNTS, $23,000,000 IMPROVEMENTS TO HEALTHCARE COVERAGE…no they don’t have to go to the “MarketPlace”…. and budget cuts of 2% each year since 2010 & IRS PISSED at Congress for it when the REAL WORLD is either UNEMPLOYED or stripping to BARE BONES is a DAMN INSULT
Sorry, just don’t believe this is RANDOM

What does it mean when you lose bars?

I think they should be truthful and fair. I have every right to be upset, when I see people a whole week file after me and got theirs. I mean I think a lot of us did ours early to get them sooner not later because some of of us need it, and it’s not because we aren’t responsible with our money but emergencies to turn up that are out of our hands or unplanned.

@Ella Actually I am not upset at all. We are all well within the time limits that are there before we accrue any interest. People just assume that the 21 day thing is gospel when they state that 9/10 will get it within 21 days. That’s only 90%. 10% won’t.

@luf
The least the irs could of done is released at truthful statement yesterday that they messed up. And possibly givin us ( pushed to the side) batch a bit of reassurance that ours will be sorted out now.

I have to chuckle when I see people say the lost confidence in the IRS. Did any of us actually have confidence in them in the first place? This is my annual time to sit back and see how they’re going to screw it up this year.
I’m a nurse. If we nurses were as bad at our jobs as the IRS is at theirs, there would be a LOT of dead people.

@badbatch. Accepted 1/12 here, dropped to no bars over the weekend with code 152.
Sigh.

I think the ONLY positive in this is that there are a lot of us in the same boat, so less likely there’s something wrong with our individual returns. Other than that, this is a load of crap. Instead of a generic “our system went down” message, I’d much rather see, “Hey, we we’re understaffed and overwhelmed. We screwed up and will be processing overtime to get refunds out as quickly as humanly possible.” But yeah, that’ll never happen. I’ll look for 2/2 filers to get their DDD’s tomorrow. *insert eye roll here*

Dont feel bad Judi…I filed mine on 1/27 and it was accepted the same day and WMR hasnt moved since. Friend of mine at work filed on 1/28 and he was accepted and approved on 1/29 and he has a DDD of 2/5. I am really starting to lose confidence with IRS right now.

Maybe we can hope for an update this weekend? maybe more updates than they usually would do since they are behind?
