HR Block is USELESS!!!

I woke up here early. So I decided to call HR Block and they’re the most absolute useless bastards on the planet at answering direct tax questions.

They said code 1541 this early in the year is solely got to do with the PATH ACT and unfortunately that’s all they knew. Suggested I call the IRS, they DID say that we shouldn’t check our WMR constantly and to TRY to avoid calling the IRS as these patterns send up “RED FLAGS” and to just be patient or we might very well bring attention to ourselves that we don’t want and hold up our refunds even longer.

I don’t even understand why people use them. They charge a rediculous amount to get your taxes back at the same time as if you filed.yiurself electronically. I let them figure mine once and the refund amount was exactly the same as turbo tax. Yet TT was about 50 bucks and HR was over 300. Plus they try to make you feel like they are tax professionals but in reality it’s just people they hire off the street and out them through their class. Theyvare not CPAs.

Yea. True story! I guess every single time we check WMR our IP address is recorded in their system and there’s a tracker of how many times our SSN is ran through their software. And when we call, our phone number is recorded and notes left each time we call. So best to avoid it all as much as possible, or within reason anyway.

And to thin some idiot on here was suggesting people get themselves locked out of WMR as some sort of protest. Like i said all its going to do is draw suspicions.
