Morning Everyone,
I just got off phone with IRS. I filed 1/28 and accepted 1/28 by TT. I called and spoke with a nice man he told me my taxes weren’t accepted by IRS until FEB. 5th. I have no bars and the generic message your refund is being processed and date will be provided when available and Tax Topic 152. So, maybe that’s what happening to all us still waiting. We truly wasn’t accepted the day we thought we were. I will keep you updated to see what happens. Praying for Favor for all of us!

I really believe this to be true. I read someone else spoke to a rep that said they did not work on returns at all on the 28th and 29th due to the crash. So, returns were only accepted through the “first door”. Well, the 30th and 31st was the weekend.
If you read about cycle codes it says the 1st day of the irs processing week actually starts on Thursday, some say Friday. I was first able to order my account transcript on 2/5. I think my return and probably many others weren’t really accepted until the 5th. Not being able to get an account transcript and then being able to must mean something.
Problem is I have been stuck ever since. My cycle code from last year was 20150404. All I have been able to figure out about that is I am not weekly and that the irs is on cycle 04 this week. I am hoping since today is Thursday they are processing my return today.
Only time will tell.
