Ok so I just off the phone with HNR block and they are saying the IRS has not sent them the funds yet. How is this possible? My DDD date is 2/10/16. How can the bank that HNR Block go though taking their fees ect and releasing to us if IRS has not sent by end of business hours. Unless they are working extra hours.
Has anyone called HNR Block and found out that funds have been released?

Checked my emerald card earlier today says IRS released my funds refund to be deposited tomorrow. It’s the IRS that’s delayed not HRB. DDD 2/10

They better be lucky if they have any customers next year after all of their bull sh they put people through this year i know i won’t be one of them for sure

Finally got my deposit in netspend acct!! It is coming guys, i almost fell over dead its been sooo long! Filed HR Block, fees taken out DDD of 2/10! Good luck guys!

Refunds are beginning to hit ECs and bank accounts pretty rapidly now. People are flooding the H&R Block page on Facebook announcing their DDs.

Grrrrrr. Well let me start with this I just got off the phone with H&R Block and let me mention it is not H&R Block it is a company contracted by H&R Block that goes by the name of Teleperformance. Very very very shity company they cannot Escalade calls they cannot give you a direct deposit date and they keep on giving you the runaround of saying they can’t do anything until the 21 day window. So if you’re wondering why I told you the name of the third party company that is answering the phones under the guise of H&R Block it is because they cannot answer your questions because they don’t know the answer. It is not H&R Block to which you are speaking it is a low rate third-party contractor all they can do is throw regurgitated b******* at you and expect for you to take it. But they made a big mistake today by telling me that they were Teleperformance they also gave me the cost center managers email address let me know if you want it I’ll be happy to give it. So if you want to definitive answer about your taxes I would suggest that you tried to reach out to H&R Block corporate office. Because calling H&R Block customer service number that so easily pops up when you google it online it’s only going to get you to a third-party contractor was given a script and not a definitive answer. emerald card rep told us last night we would have our money on our ddd but shot down any talk of getting it before, but told us very surely that it would be on our emerald card tomorrow. He said delays only happen if they have to take fees then transfer to another bank but even then most get them same or next day

They do not definitely know if the IRS has sent the refunds to their bank or not. But, from reading the 100s of posts on FB about people that have called the Treasury to see…they HAVE been released for people with 2/ 10 DDD. H&R Block reps will say whatever they can to appease you while saving their butts. They had rather say any than yay and God forbid our money isn’t deposited. Chances are slim. They are going to start deposits at midnight.
