Need help
The irs did deposit my stimulus check but it deposited into my last year account which is closed . What do I do now?

  I just found out the same shit. Call the previous bank and ask them to reverse the rejection. I just had to do that. They’ll get back to me in 24 hours, they sent it to their accounting department. Mind you the account was closed, they have to reopen it. Prayers

  Did you try the Get My Payment tool? If so, did it provide any instructions? I haven’t used the tool — I got mine in a timely manner — but reading the language of the IRS web page suggests I may have had some misconceptions about how it would work. Or they couldn’t make it work the way they really wanted, so they compromised.
