      Hi! Would anyone happen to know, if you apply for a short gap exemption for the healthcare is the tax refund delayed?

          thank you for the replies. Normally I would have the exemption number in hand but this year I only needed the short gap since I had it all year except for the last two months out of the year. I saw that my transcript started processing yesterday and then stopped so I thought maybe they need to review my return manually. Other than that its a normal standard deduction return. no ATC or EIC.

            I get the hardship exemption, but I’m also PATH (EIC & ACTC), so I’m always delayed.

              It shouldn’t be, but I don’t know for certain.
