      So yesterday I contacted a Tax Advocate and was relieved to get a projected DDD of 2/15/16

      HOWEVER- that’s Presidents Day…. =(

      Has anyone gotten a DDD that fell on a federal holiday? I’m super depressed about this because I have a feeling the agent gave me some misinformation….

      HELP!

          I just think it is completely insane and guess what!? The IRS has now crashed AGAIN! Here is the TRUTH… WE ARE NEVER SEEING THAT MONEY! They have determined that they want to keep it all so they have figured if the “system keeps crashing” they can continue to hold it and draw the interest from it all and try to make more money from it. That’s exactly what this is, in my opinion. There is NOTHING that we can do to THEM in order to make them send us the money they owe us. Are we going to file a class action lawsuit against the federal government??? I’m in if ya’ll are! ;)

            I was supposed to get mine presidents day last yr and It deposited the next day

              same here filed on 1/22/16 my 21 days will be on the 14th of feb. stil l waiting for ddd.

                Hi other Hope. My 30 days would be 2/18.

                I just called TA again and asked them because I was unure of the accuracy of the date of provided.

                This new agent was exceptionally rude and said there is no DDD and she has no idea why I was told the 15th because she doesn’t see that anywhere….

                Super bummed out.

                But who knows? She was very condescending and told me there is no such thing as a hardship request…. And that’s the first thing that number says– we assist taxpayers with economic hardships lol

                  Nice to meet the other Hope, I’ve seen you post and thought it was funny.

                  I think that is just probably your 21 days. I just called the IRS and they said that was my 21 days… so I should get a DDD BEFORE Monday… I think they will send out the DDD for that day, but it would be the 16th before you’d get it. I’m expecting mine on the 17th (but do not have a DDD for that, it’s just my gut feeling about it).
