Got return transcripts but no DDD….its wage verification!

NO DDD TODAY!!
Called Tax advocate and they said that anyone this is happening to is under some type of review . That is why we can order our return transcripts because it processed…..but they are holding it! I’m so aggravated! I now have to send in pay stubs, w2 and letters from my employer……and wait 6-8 weeks. I’m so upset.

unfortunately for me this is true. I called the tax advocate and was adviced my tax refund was approved but is on hold. so i called the irs and stated that it is indeed under review and i will eventually recieve corresondence via mail about what it needed. my est time of completion is 4/2/16 :'( i have literally been in tears for 3 hours.. i am a single mom and i have 3 children. claimed as always hoh. Im suppose to move march 1st… Lost my job for missing to many days with my youngest in the hospital. ready to lose my mind. so im getting off the forums and good luck everyone!

Oh and the tax advocate office in Nola WAS in fact open today in order to catch up from having been off on Tuesday for Mardi Gras.

Hey y’all! I truly hope y’all are right and that you know more than the advocate. I would love to think it’s just behind. However, sooo many people have even gotten their DDD And then had the refund stopped. It’s crazy this year. I wish everyone luck but my original post is fact and you can even read about it in an article on the Forbes website. The link is posted on the igmr Facebook page. I guess lots of people are sending in fake w2 this year.

This is NOT true! The WMR is having a hard time updating all the ones who filed early. I talked to IRS agent and she said NOT TRUE! Some don’t get DDD and refund shows up. Be patient!

@Dom when i called i went to being on hold to being told the office is currently closed. with the hours of operation. As if tax season is not stressful enough.. Expecially this one. i know i had a irs rep tell me.. ho theres nothing wrong its being processed and when i asked further questions she then started with an attitude. Half the time i take whats on here with a grain of salt.

The tax advocate office is NOT open today. I just tried calling. I can guarentee that they would not process a return, allow us to order the transcript and THEN want wage verification…. that makes no sence. That would make our transcripta in accurate and would then lead to possible legal ramifications if they were used for school or anything else. The irs is stupid…. and so slow… but not that stupid….

I thought Tax Advocates were not available today? I know I had to do ID verify which I did and they put me back in processing. I got my return transcript yesterday but no DDD today but I still have the topic 152 and says still processing. Why would they process the return then want wage verification…that is backwards.

Ive seen this happen before and others got their DD before they got a date. Its going to be different for everyone.
