          I efiled form 8862 on 2/07/2016. I was disallowed eic 12 or 13 years ago for my daughter, this year I claimed her as a dependent. Refund status is one bar. I’m thinking there going to send me a letter asking for school/medical records.

            I don’t what’s going on I filled my taxes this year claiming my son on my taxes and they sent it back asking for a 8862 form so my preparer gave it to them and I have been waiting like two wks now and I don’t no wuts going on I no I got audited the year of 12 or 13 but was never required to pay any money to the IRS and they sent the rest of my funds never went to court or anything I didn’t know that I needed a 8862 form every time I filled till this year so now I’ll use it but still no refund when I filled it this year In two days they denied it and asked for that form wo i sent it in and now I still haven’t heard from them yet I’m so worried cuz I am depending on this refund I have a new born son and a 2year old in my life and this is ridiculous.
