Filed 1/22 accepted 1/23, transcript process date 2/11

I filed with JH this year and have fees coming out of refund. My transcript has a processing date of 2/11/19 but no DDD. WMR has never updated for me since PATH started. Check Republic Bank taxpayer website and no refund received yet. I was hoping today would be the day for that DDD. Anyone else similar?

I did find this from an Admin in a forum from last year on this site. Not sure if this helps anyone better understand what a processing date is?

I’ll try to explain it as simply as I can with the best of my knowledge. That date is more or less a “process by date” so that returns don’t get stuck without a resolution. As the date approaches then the system is flagged to scan the account again to see if there was a problem that caused it to no be resolved. For the most part having your refund released (846 code) resolves the account and it closes it out. For those of us on PATH that means we cannot receive that refund prior to 2/15 so the system will scan the account and see the credit codes that fall under PATH and assign a new “processing date.” Those dates are always a Monday date and everyone who processed during that cycle will have the same date. This does not however mean that everyone will receive their DD on the same date as there are other things to factor in.
Long story short- the “processing date” does not correlate with a DDD and can actually be weeks later than when you actually receive your DD.

I’m also assuming the processing date you are referring to is the date next to your cycle code? There are multiple dates on the transcript so just trying to clarify.

My date at the top that says as of near my account balance says 2/25/19, my date next to my cycle code says 3/12/19. I’m thinking my DDD once listed will be in between there.

Oh ok. I filed with HRB. Can’t help there. My dates have always been posted later on my transcripts then my 846 code date so I’m different there was well. My date last year was early March and my 846 code date was 2/22.

I know i wont know the DDD until it updates, i was hoping that would have been today. My processing date last year was 2/19 and i got my refund 2/22. I have been claiming the same credits for 18 years. Since the PATH act started, WMR hasnt updated until AFTER i received my refund in my account. Im just wondering if anyone else filed with JH with fees taken out of refund. This is the first year i havent used TT.

You won’t know your DDD until you get that. The date by your cycle code isn’t a DDD. Hopefully WMR will update this week for you. I’d keep checking transcripts as that will be where the code and date will most likely pop up first and then WMR will update.

Does your transcript show the 846 refund code with a date next to it yet? This date is different then the date that shows up next to your cycle code
