      I know that TT app/website can be a little off sometimes. I finished my taxes at 1:00 AM and it says pending 1/8 but “submitted” 1/22. Assuming that it will be thrown into a test batch next Monday?

          @Jared

          I don’t think it’s a bad thing. Most people get that tax topic. I’ve had it every year and it has not indicated a delay or anything like that.

              We can get accepted into the test batch, but we won’t get the refund until PATH lifts.
              Filed 01/13 and accepted today 01/19, with Taxact, ACTC, EIC, CTC.
              Per Taxact: As part of controlled IRS testing, a small number of federal returns will be transmitted to the IRS beginning on 01/17/2024. This is before processing officially begins on 01/23/2024. If you receive an acknowledgement during this timeframe, your return has been accepted by the IRS but your refund will not be processed early.

                    What is the significance of the 01/22 date in TT ? Does it mean they will ‘file us’ on that day or does it have more significance? Im wondering because I did NOT ask for advance and I paid fees up front. Is this anyone else’s situation with a 01/22 date on TT??? Do you know what it means? Thanks

                      What hours do they usually do the accepting into test batches?

                        The IRS site states that they wont accept until January 29. So if you get accepted before that, you may be a test batch, or be in the first batch starting on the 29th. I filed yesterday 1/18, im still pending. Im not holding my breath to be accepted beforenthe 29th, but also wouldnt be suprised if it showed accepted on any day before then.

                          I also have issues. I filed last week and mine says submitted 1/22. I called my State and they said they haven’t even received my taxes. Why wouldn’t TT submit them?

                            I filed at lunch today TT so I am a 01/18 filer. Paid fees upfront. My TT also says submitted 01/22 and then pending 01/18 like backwards dates. Could I be in an early batch with dependents??

                              Mine says submitted with 1/22/24 under it then pending with 1/18/24 under the next dot so it seems backwards

                                Filed today, 1/18. My TT just says “pending” “est acceptance end of January”

                                  We are guessing that those with weekly update accounts may see acceptances in test batches tomorrow.
