Have not seen this thread so far, so I figured I would start one and keep each other updated!
I was an early filer. I received a letter 1/27 needing my 1095-a and form 8962. Faxed both this past monday, 2/3.
Had no bars, tax topic 152 and refund is still being processed since last saturday.
May 7, 2020 at 6:24 pm #4431135
I have only one 2019(wage & income) transcript and it shows returned not files.
I try to put myself in the agents shoes. They are NEVER getting around to this. If they took it home, it’s a shit show, if it’s at the office, it be the last thing they think about.
Feds need to fine TT and make them pay for a dedicated employee at each branch dedicated to resolving these when they get back, but of course, that would never happen. Ever.May 7, 2020 at 9:43 am #4431095
I have pretty much given up hope at this point. Obviously something has to be wrong with mine i just cant find out what to fix it since i cant call. That or they are extending the time they said it could take because of the shut down. Either way i have lost all hope ill get it anytime soon. If i do get a update on WMR on saturday ill come back and let u guys know. But i doubt it.May 7, 2020 at 9:16 am #4431092
I filled 1-27 ish. Then I faxed my 8962 over 2/29. Been well past the 8 weeks now and still heard NOTHING. Wmr still has still processing. And of course cant call for answers. Just letting people know because i see people talking about the 6-8 weeks we are told to wait and im way past that now. Its awful.May 7, 2020 at 3:47 am #4431065
Rylee83, I understand your frustration. I was there, too (though my holdup was not the same as yours).
You’re not understanding what I’m saying. You can be as angry as you want. You can be as impatient as you want. But all I’m saying is to stop wasting your time wondering about that “As of” date on your TS. It’s not the answer to your quest. That’s not telling you how to feel about how long you’ve been waiting.
I think you have every reason to be angry with TT. But your refund is not tied to that “As of” date AT ALL.May 7, 2020 at 1:10 am #4431059
Why should I not be concerned I’ve been waiting almost 14 weeks for my federal refund because TT screwed me and thousands of other people over
Why do you feel the need to comment to my posts and tell me how I should feel??
Are you still waiting on your refund?May 6, 2020 at 11:03 pm #4431050
Rylee83, there’s NO REASON to be concerned about your “As of” date. It doesn’t matter at all. Past, future: it doesn’t matter. It has NOTHING to do with the processing of your return or when you’ll get your refund.May 6, 2020 at 10:16 pm #4431042
Mine still says as of April 27 nothing has changed and says still processing on WMRMay 6, 2020 at 8:53 pm #4431036
My date still shows 4/27 and nothing else has updated.May 6, 2020 at 8:08 pm #4431031
Has your transcript date changed or is it still showing 4/27 despite that date has passed?May 6, 2020 at 8:06 pm #4431030
The only IRS # taking calls is COLLECTIONS, go figure, I had one rep on the phone that was going to look my account up then I accidentally hung up. Called back and got a jerk on the phone that wouldn’t even look up my case. One of the first things he said was if your calling regarding your stimulus check I cannot give you any info. I said I’m not calling regarding my stimulus money … no help even though I was practically in tearsMay 6, 2020 at 8:03 pm #4431029
Do you have a 2019 account transcript available now? I never did until about a week ago, 2019 income still says no return filed and only thing on 2019 account transcript is the as of May 11thMay 6, 2020 at 5:14 pm #4431009
To the exact day I am in the exact same boat as you, same dates and everything. I’ve lost 99% of hope at this point. Money comes when you dont need it and almost never when it does.May 6, 2020 at 3:29 pm #4430998
I had a as of date of April 27 and nothing happened that day .. my transcripts are still blank … still waiting since 3/7 when I faxed my paperworkMay 6, 2020 at 1:37 pm #4430971
I’m just beyond aggravated. Filed and accepted 1/31 faxed needed info on 3/14 and I’m still waiting almost 15 weeks later. Have never had a problem with my taxes in over 10 yearsMay 6, 2020 at 1:14 pm #4430964
Rylee83, the “As of” date and the processing date are two different things. There is nothing significant about the “As of” date.
And if the return isn’t done by the processing date, they’ll push it out further.May 6, 2020 at 12:56 pm #4430960
So if you finally have an as of date and an account transcript available that was NA it doesn’t mean anything significant? Cuz another person on a different forum on here told me the date means something has to be done by that date. For me that makes perfect sense cuz I faxed my paperwork on 3/14, 5/9 would be 8 weeks but it’s a Saturday so 5/11 would be the first business day making it 8 weeks since I faxed my paperwork.
On the letter it says allow 6-8 weeks for your refundMay 6, 2020 at 10:38 am #4430759
A change in the “As of” date without any transactions simply means someone looked at your return about 18 days before the listed date (i.e., for 5/11 it would have been around 4/23), but not to review or process it.May 5, 2020 at 10:41 pm #4430729
@rylee82 I also have an as of May 11th date. Not sure what that means since we’ve never received a letter.May 5, 2020 at 8:18 am #4430635
TT refuses me a refund. Said it was my error. If I knew that the info from the 1095a should have been submitted, I should have called TT immediately for assistance. They took zero ownership, and took my money!May 4, 2020 at 10:42 pm #4430592
Filed with TT early Feb. got my letter late Feb. Faxed 8962 and 1095a on March 3. Wmr says still processing, nothing on transcripts. Doesnt even show anything for 2019 tax year. I am wondering if I should file a superceding return or not.May 4, 2020 at 9:23 pm #4430578
Rylee83 Yes, they should mail you a check if you demand a refund and fill out the form that they send to you via email. I had to call twice to get a helpful representative.May 4, 2020 at 8:28 pm #4430574
Mailed documents on 3/5. Still nothingMay 4, 2020 at 7:36 pm #4430565
I also demanded a refund from TT. They are mailing me a check in eight weeks or less with the refunded amount since they failed to file my taxes accurately. The 2019 8962form wasn’t even available until end of February.May 4, 2020 at 3:08 pm #4430531
You got TT to issue you a refund? I’ve only called once but paid them before filing. I’m going to call againMay 4, 2020 at 1:27 pm #4430502
I called TT to request a refund, as I wasn’t prompted to enter in the information the IRS later requested. That is the reason that I had to fax that info in and have yet to receive my federal return. They emailed me a form that I filled out and I just received a $90 check from Intuit. Takes a little bit of the salt out of the wound.May 4, 2020 at 11:05 am #4430466
I couldnt get the fax to go through and now the phone systems are down at IRS. So I mailed with tracking. The rep only told me to send 1095 and 8962 form. So I did on 4/20. Still pending. I never recieved the letter. So frustrating!May 4, 2020 at 11:02 am #4430464
Has anyone heard anything. Still can’t get anyone in the phone. No answers and it has been 8 weeks. So aggravatedMay 3, 2020 at 11:23 pm #4430388
Yeah i never filled out the extra paper saying if there was a difference or increase/decrease. Hope that’s not what’s holding it up. Faxed them 3/6.May 3, 2020 at 7:38 pm #4430371
I honestly think for anyone that didn’t fax page 2 they’re fine. I just went back and looked at my form 8962 and if there’s a increase or decrease in your refund it says on the first page of form 8962May 3, 2020 at 7:38 pm #4430370

My letter didn’t ask for page 2 of the 1040 form even if my amount changed it didn’t request a copy. I know Turbo taxes instructions say to include it but the irs letter stated very clearly only to attach what they’re asking for. Nothing more and nothing less. I had planned on including that page 2 but didn’t want to mess my processing time up. I’m sure it’s fine. They would’ve asked for it in the letter. Mine did not…May 3, 2020 at 5:10 am #4430297
I faxed everything with page 2 even though page 2 was blank back on March 7
I don’t see why it would matter if page 2 is blank like mine but who knows …
I’m still waiting no update or anything.. I filed on January 27 and faxed March 7May 3, 2020 at 2:43 am #4430286
Anyone else get their stimulus letter from the IRS?
Yes. I started a thread on the economic impact payment letter in this forum.May 3, 2020 at 1:31 am #4430277May 2, 2020 at 11:02 pm #4430270

I never received a letter but I did call and she told me to fax forms 1095-A and 8962. I did not fax page 2 as I wasn’t told to do so.
Faxed forms: 3/9
WMR: still being processedMay 2, 2020 at 9:15 pm #4430249
Am I’m the only person who didn’t fax page 2. My letter 12c didn’t say that so now I feel like I should fax it again ughhhhMay 2, 2020 at 1:53 pm #4430211

I filed end of January. Accepted.
Got letter: faxed 8962 and 1095-A on 3/13 went through fine and they received fax. But no updates. Nothing but income on transcripts. No filed transcript for 2019. Today still processing.May 2, 2020 at 12:38 pm #4430204
I spoke to Tax advocate yesterday and she told me the that department is not back at work and only few people work at home for 2019
still nothingMay 2, 2020 at 11:45 am #4430190

I faxed my 8962 & 1040a 3/10. Going on 8 weeks not and “still progressing”. UghhMay 1, 2020 at 10:45 pm #4430112
I faxed my docs March 16 and the fax went through. I don’t have a 2019 return transcript. So no updates at all. I’m not even it’s how to determine if my refund increased or decreased, but I defiantly only sent the 1095-a and 8962May 1, 2020 at 7:03 pm #4430079
I just checked my transcripts and my 2019 income is still NA but now I have an account transcript available with nothing on it besides an as of May 11th dateMay 1, 2020 at 6:58 pm #4430077
When did you fax your documentation?
If your transcript updated that’s most likely a good signMay 1, 2020 at 5:03 pm #4430056
So basically I just realized I never sent the schedule 3 form documenting the difference of $34 in with my form 8962. Should I just refax everything? Wait until i can talk to everyone?May 1, 2020 at 12:59 pm #4429995
I filed on 2-3-2020 and file faxed form 8962 on 03-09-2020May 1, 2020 at 12:39 pm #4429984
when did u file ?May 1, 2020 at 9:58 am #4429914
Omg I am so frustrated!! Mine still shows no update. Not to the transcript or where’s my refund. Have y’all found anyone to talk to about it?May 1, 2020 at 9:29 am #4429907
Okay- I’m very confused. How do I know if my refund increased or decreased from my 8962? I only faxed my 8962 and 1095-a on March 16. Still no updates on WMR and I don’t even have a 2019 transcript.May 1, 2020 at 9:06 am #4429899
My Account transcript finally shows up but it doesn’t show any amount and it shows a date AS OF; May 18, 2020.
Do you guys any idea what that means?May 1, 2020 at 7:41 am #4429875
I expedited shipping on my 1095a/8962 March 1st. They signed for it on March 5th and I’ve still got no answer as to when it’ll be processed. They haven’t even updated my transcripts, they’re just blank. It’s be 8 weeks now, this is ridiculousMay 1, 2020 at 1:24 am #4429796
Once you complete form 8962 you will know if your refund went up. If your refund increases or decreases you are supposed to include page 2 when sending your documents to the IRS. My refund increased by $6, yay. Joking I just want my refund keep the $6April 30, 2020 at 6:13 pm #4429658
How do you know if your refund went up? I don’t think mine did – it still shows the same amount on WMR.April 30, 2020 at 4:10 pm #4429409
My refund actually went up a good amount so I’m not sure if that is gonna hurt me.April 30, 2020 at 1:05 pm #4429305
I neglected to mention I faxed the documents on 3/2/2020, so I think it’s been over the 8 week markApril 30, 2020 at 12:41 pm #4429273
Faxed 8962, 1095-a, and page 2 as the refund amount had decreased. WMR “Still Processing”
No confirmation other than the page when faced that documents were received by the irs. Hoping for some answers here soon, I’m not even sure they are looking at faxed correspondence, just wished I got something to know if I did something wrongApril 30, 2020 at 12:17 pm #4429265
Its been almost 8 weeks with no status change for me. I mailed my response to the IRS certified mail so I know they received it on March 6, which was a Saturday. I also believe it was before the shout down so I’m hoping its not sitting in a box or bin some where lost. Has anyone who mailed there response in heard anything yet?April 30, 2020 at 10:56 am #4429210
Also faxed forms 03/09/2020
Still no bar, no updates
Which phone I can call to reach representative and ask if they received my forms?
Thank youApril 29, 2020 at 9:55 pm #4428923
Filed 2/4 with tt
Called IRS 3/10 about my refund and faxed them the 8962&1095 same day
Got letter 3/20 called IRS and they couldn’t tell me if they got it or not so they said just to be sure Fax again. So I did and now its just a waiting game. I feel like they put taxes on hold so they can send out the stimulus checks.April 29, 2020 at 9:51 pm #4428921
I know these people at work cause they sending out the stimulus checks and that is where I had to send my info.April 29, 2020 at 5:27 pm #4428810
I am in the same boat faxed mine on 3/9 said accepted. Had an increase but when checking where’s my refund old amount says still being processed but new amount says wrong information. I am so frustrated over this.April 29, 2020 at 4:07 pm #4428726
No I gave up calling. I may try tomorrow. A person with first hand knowledge told me Wednesdays are the best to call the IRS.April 29, 2020 at 12:45 pm #4428362
No update on transcripts either. From what I’ve been reading on here transcripts usually update on Fridays when they’re going to update it your a weekly. (I think)April 29, 2020 at 12:40 pm #4428354
Have you called and been able to get through to anyone at the IRS? I haven’t tried today but yesterday was still getting the recording they weren’t taking callsApril 29, 2020 at 12:12 pm #4428289

Where did you see the IRS was resuming operations today 4/27/20? Every # I’be called and it was about 6 of them I got the same message they were not taking calls.
I’m so fed up, this is complete BS. They should’ve finished people’s tax refunds that had been processed for MONTHS, then started with the stimulus payments.April 27, 2020 at 4:15 pm #4426985
I signed but don’t have $11 to contribute today :(
I’ve been working on a 7 page research paper for school that’s due Friday. So I haven’t had much free time between that, still working and , battling with my 10 year old son to everyday about his completing his online work for school. I am in the same boat. I faxed my 8962 form and 1095-C forms on March 5th. My where’s my refund tool says that it is still processing as of this morning. I also used turbo tax and never will again. I need this money now more than ever and have been waiting almost 3 months.April 27, 2020 at 1:13 pm #4426884

I faxed my 8962 form along with the 1040 on March 15. I also used turbo tax. I haven’t received communication from the IRS stating that my document was received. There is also no one to talk to when I call the IRS. I used to Turbo Tax and they had the nerve to take the money for the services and here I am without my refund. Like wt……
