So I checked payment system showing I’m eligible for 3rd stimulus date not available will update when becomes available. Anyone else has the same issue and if so did you saw change or got date?

So, my IRS account now shows the amount of my 3rd stimulus, GMP still says the same ole bull🤷♂️..at least there is some movement. nothing in bank account yet though.

Finally, Dec 1 is my date as well. I had the same issue. At this point if they have not begun the process to remove the code then filing on taxes would be the move due to the time it took to research 6-8 weeks. I was definitely on the 8 week end.

Finally got a DD date for Dec 2nd. God is good. When I was about to lose all hope I woke up to good news. In my opinion, I too feel they had a glitch they are now fixing. I called about the territory code early October…followed up with IRS a week or so ago and was told she didn’t see anything and would just plan to file on my taxes this year. So don’t give up on hope, unfortunately but fortunately they are still working on getting them to us.

Finally mine changed! It was saying I was eligible but no payment date and had the last four of my checking account to be deposited into, but as of yesterday it says it will be mailed and gives a specific date. I’m not sure why it’s not being deposited but I’m getting it so I’m not complaining. I thought it was a lost cause until tax time but still checked for updates every so often.

Finally got thru to the IRS today and the territory code was on my account as well. Answered a few questions to have it removed and was told I should have my stimulus in 6-8 weeks if I am eligible. Fingers crossed. Will keep you guys posted.

The guy who assisted me had to make note of me not ever living out of the country and send it off to be removed. I too was told it will take 6-8 weeks. Do anyone know if they will mail a check or send to the account # listed?

@Ms1987 Thank you! the lady I spoke with at you extension called 1-866-682-7451 EXT 569 was amazing. Come to find out my wife had the Guam code and that was holding up our Joint payment. She said it should be cleared up and deposited in 6-8 weeks.

I SPOKE TO A MRS.MCNEIL AND SHE STATED THAT THE IRS HAD A MEETING AND FIGURED OUT WHAT THE GLITCH WAS. IT TURNS OUT THAT THEIR IS A GLITCH THAT WE WERE STUCK IN THAT RELATES TO A FEW QUESTIONS WHICH ARE IDENTITY QUESTION REGARDING IF WE LIVE IN THE VIRGIN ISLANDS, GUAM PUERTO RICO AND SURROUNDING AREAS.

The same thing happen to me called last week asked if I lived or worked in hawaii Guam or other territories. I told her no. Same address for years. She said it must be a internal error and would send to another dept to remove the code and issue my stimulus in 6 weeks. Spoke to 6 agents that day to one would help me except this last lady who spent a hour researching my account. Filed taxes feb received refund in feb. No address changes no bank changes mo unemployment or amendments

Still no payment date…it’s ridiculous!!!! I’ve been waiting since it started in March. I owe taxes but can’t afford the ridiculous amount they want each month. IRS will threaten to levy you for their money but won’t give us our stimulus check. They don’t care.

I FINALLY received my DD on 8-25!!
My status had been payment but no date since March. Received 1st & 2nd stimulus with no issues. Also receiving CTC without issues. Also filed in March 2020 taxes and received refund in 10 days. I never had a change of bank account either…. So once I stopped checking…. There it was. I had resided to the fact that I would have to claim next year but happy that is not the case!!! So there is no rhyme or reason but there is HOPE FOR ALL!!!😎 -

Just wanted to update that several people with the eligible but no date status have posted on other chats and Facebook, that they finally have a dd date and money pending. .. THERE IS HOPE .. I unfortunately still have the same status.. but this is the first news of anyones status changing.. fingers crossed that we may get it soon

I also got mine today. Finally, after all that IRS hogwash and jumping through hoops. Called them on October 20th and did that whole “I live in the states, not the territories” questions. I just can’t fathom how a system puts that many people living in the Caribbean, especially ones who file their taxes living so far away from the ocean.

Ok, so i called the number again. I explained about the “territory” code, The person i spoke with looked in the system for anything that might be holding it back. After a 15 min wait i was told there is NOTHING holding my stimulus, it is systematicaly issued when it is ready. He did not see anything about a territory code in the system.

It doesn’t show on transcripts. It only shows on the IRS side so you have to call about it.

I called the same number and was ask questions if I lived in Guam and was advised there was a territory code. When I called I explained I had been waiting and wanted to see if there was an error coming up. I was transferred to another department who submitted the request to have territory code removed. I was advised to allow 6-8 weeks. So my advice is to call back and get another agent.

Finally called about territory code and rep submitted a form to another dept. after asking some questions as far as American residency and oversees. When I checked A couple of days ago. My status went from eligible with no date to unable to provide information either because of not being processed yet or not being eligible. Today I checked and it said I was eligible and will receive a date when it is being disbursed via email again.

Several people with the territory code who had it removed, got their money !! Took about 3 weeks. And they were eligible with no payment date and some psna.. so there is hope. I am still waiting but only been two weeks for me .. I’ll let you guys know if I end up getting it.

I called and was told that the territory thing was fixed on accounts last week. They were in the process of researching my account after I gave them all of our information and phone cutoff about 3 minutes into the hold time. ugh. I tried to call back and the woman’s system was down. The EIP phone number is zero help whatsoever.

@stillwaiting .I couldn’t see one on my transcript either, it’s on the IRS side, they can see it and there are a ton of people with it. So I called to see and it was. someone said that the IRS people got a memo on Sept 17 telling them how to handle these accounts when people call. So done will tell you they don’t see it, others have heard that, but when you get someone that knows and has read the memo, they know exactly what you are talking about and how to fix it.

@Kate where do you see the territory code? I’ve looked all over my transcripts and can’t find anything or a reason for a holdup on my tax return. It’s even been processed. No hold codes but definitely not 846 refund code either. It’s like it’s just sitting waiting on someone to push a button.

I called 1-866-682-7451 EXT 569 the lady was super nice and just asked if i was ever living in Guam i said no and she said she will send in a referral to get it taken off hold and talking to the lady was about an 1.5 hour process, but hopefully it works!

Who did you call? I call Friday and and was oh hold for like 10 minutes talk to an older lady and ask her about this code she act like she didn’t know what I was referring to and for the sake of me would not open my account to look at it and hung the phone up😡😡😡 -

Get my payment said that they would deposit my stimulus on 8/25 to my old account. Today, it has updated to they will mail my payment on 9/13.

@ Jessi, dont loose hope, you might see that deposit soon, they still have until December, so their slowly still sending payments …. I receive an update today on GMP their going to send mine by mail on September 13, after it was rejected by my old bank last week.

I just checked my IRS account and my Stimulus amount showed up for $5,600.00 as of this morning! Finally. This is exactly what happen with my Federal Tax Refund. It showed up on my IRS account first. Hopefully everyone else gets there’s soon!

I have seen on some other sites this week where people that have been waiting and filed their taxes in February received the stimulus today. Hopefully things will move forward. @Kelvin-I’m in the same boat. Changed my bank account. I pay them every month too out of my new bank account. This country can monitor every one of our communications whether it be by phone, text, even this blog post, but it can’t update an account number. Hopefully it won’t get lost in the mail-another 50/50 prospect.

I call Irs today and told them about the bank account change, they told me that once the direct deposit is rejected from the bank and returns to IRS, it could take up to 5 weeks for me to receive it by mail.
Hey I have been waiting for ever with eligibility to direct deposit with no date, so for me this is better than nothing. I really hope you guys can soon start receiving the money as well. -

its going to take a little lioger now since I change my bank, Now I have to wait for the bank to returned it and them the IRS will send a paper check, but its allot better than eligible with no date for months…

So after many many many moths waiting for my direct deposit I finally receive a notification @ get my payment tool that my 1400.00 will be deposit on august 25. the bad news is I change my bank account 3 weeks ago and I haven’t been able to get a hold of IRS to update that information. ;/

Everyone who is eligible with no date since march .. that filed early in Feb like me. got everything else no issue, then we are all in the systemic error category.. and at this point they have no clue when or if it will be fixed. Some have gotten letters stating this and if not fixed by Dec then we have to file for rebate next year. UNACCEPTABLE there has to be a way for them to generate it manually!

This is a paragraph from July 21st news release from IRS.
The IRS will continue to disburse Economic Impact Payments on a weekly basis. Ongoing payments will be sent to eligible individuals for whom the IRS previously did not have information to issue a payment but who recently filed a tax return, as well to people who qualify for “plus-up” payments.

Except their saying except for plus up payments for people who filed late their pretty much done sending stimulus checks out. Which leaves us all pretty much out in the cold.

If the tool says that you are eligible for a payment, but there is no date shown, that means that the IRS hasn’t processed your payment yet. Got my ctc to an old account. I think my stimulus is postponed although irs havent mentioned anything to me. But I did change my bank account dd on the irs stimulus tool when it was available back in march so I think that triggered a red flag to irs because of a new account being added.

Someone In another stream just got a letter stating theirs was postponed due to a systemic issue with no date for resolution* eligible with no date and filed in feb like me .. yet there was an article saying irs denied the systemic issue and that was false info by people ans phones.. so how do they explain the letter then ?? My 3rd stimulus updated for the full pmt. filed 2020 on 3/16 accepted same day still not processed. Filed 2019 6/16,accepted same day, refund on 7/7. still havent received 2nd stimulus but claimed RRC. My 3rd stimulus just updated today!! Which is about 2wks after 2019 were processed. I was worried I wld have to wait for 2020 to process! Not sure when the $ will hit. I have DD & my ctc hasn’t hit either but shows I am eligible. Hopefully you guys see something soon!

My transcripts finally updated with what I think is unemployment tax refund for July 26. Hopefully that will trigger my third stimulus.. not getting my hopes up .. but glad theres something going on .. better than nothing ! I will update if it does trigger it .

I woke up to the CTC amount being removed from my stimulus amount, No update on my CTC page and unable to access the stimulus payment tool. It’s starting to feel more and more like the irs is deliberately withholding money. EVERYTIME there is some movement or and update, even something as little as a change in that as of date on my transcript, it is then reversed.

Yes my ctc is listed in the third stimulus spot .. still eligible with no payment date on gmp… Hoping by putting that amount there it does not affect stimulus or unemployment refund.. haven’t gotten that either !!! @farmtech i have the same thing as you, my friend has a different amount which equals out to her ctc amount for her 4 kids. Mines is 500 for my 2 kids but she did receive her full stimulus amount in her account yesterday. She has not updated on GMP. Traditional banks normally wont see anything until wednesday. So we are in a waiting game

Nothing has changed I waited the 10 weeks and still nothing nothing also got the letter saying I received the money when I didn’t did the tracing and waited the 10 weeks and still here empty handed.

This is so frustrating, I don’t have young kids but for those who do and still haven’t received their money is quite disgusting and the IRS needs to be ashamed of themselves. I’m sure they all got their money!

Thank you for the article. I believe they responded that way just to get to their last point, that we claim in on our 2021 taxes as a rebate. They have NO intentions on sending out any additional payments this year. This is awful and why I have no faith in our government anymore!

According to the IRS website, the delays are due to unprecedented backlogs resulting from the ongoing pandemic. The agency has advised taxpayers to not call the IRS, as the representatives do not have information beyond what the website offers.

Relax guys! I did not get a letter stating that. I called the irs again and was told that there is minimal staff and the payment just wasnt processed yet meaning they still didnt get to it. They said it was not a glitch at this time and they should be done with the payment by end of August . Have faith

Wow . Now they are sending letters saying it’s a programming issue and we have to wait til next year ???? UNACCEPTABLE ANSWER !!!!!!!! THEY NEED TO FIX THE PROGRAMMING ISSUE!!! If they know we are eligible, and know it didn’t generate .. then why cant they just issue us checks .. open a portal for us to put our info in and send the money! Makes No sense !!

I received a letter from the IRS that stated my payment was not generated due to a programming error and to file a recovery rebate on next years tax return. Don’t know what that means exactly and neither does anyone at the IRS.

My wife and i and two kids, so $5,600 total. We received the first two stimulus checks immediately. I filed our taxes early and owed $20, but I paid that on the IRS site a few weeks ago hoping that would move the log jam. The GMP site prompted me to update my bank account information on April 9th. It’s said the same thing since – eligible but no date.

I am waiting on third stimulus for me and my daughter. And my unemployment tax refund and my child tax money .. I was told for stimulus that it was systemic and if we dont get it by Dec to file for rebate .. however it seems someone was told by August we would a have them. I am eligible but no payment day as of YET! I spoke to an IRS agent about an hour ago and I was told that their payment schedule will be completed by the end of August. I said that I have been told multiple times that a glitch occurred and the IRS agent stated that the payment have not been issued yet because they are doing tax returns and the system is going slow. But rest assured the irs stated that all payment will be completed by End of August God willing. Be patient we will get it

I just sat on hold for 45 minutes trying to get an appointment with the tax office. The lady finally answered and then barely listened and transferred me to the generic economic impact phone line. I then waited there and they said I needed to talk to the tax people and so I’ve basically spent all morning talking to no one. I’m finally about to give up. It’s disappointment day after day.

I wonder, would filing an amendment to your tax return cause them to “reanalyze” your return and trigger a stimulus??? Since they keep saying that people need to file a return to get EIP3?

@Diana. That is an unacceptable response. You should contact your rep with that response and demand that she contact the IRS once again on your behalf and tell them to fix the damn system glitch. At least your rep actually responded to you.

I contacted my state’s representative and she sent an inquiry to the IRS on my behalf. I received this letter from the IRS.
Dear Taxpayer,
We are responding to regarding your inquiry from Congresswoman Kathy Castor concerning your third Economic Impact Payment. Your EIP#3 did not generate due to a programming issue. Please try and recover on the 2021 tax return under the Recovery Rebate Credit.

Update! I checked my mail today and to my surprise my stimulus check has arrived. I pray that you guys get yours soon.

Well I hope they enjoy their break from their air conditioned offices. I’ll still be here in my 105 degree factory working 6 days a week to catch up on the bills I’m behind from having covid. But hey I’m sure they need a break. Those systemic computer glitches don’t create themselves.

@Kate we got the unemployment tax refund in the mail. Still eligible no date. I’m in Oregon. Filled early via Turbo Tax. All of my info is correct, got EIP1 and EIP2 DD very quickly. It’s so frustrating! I actually posted on here the date I thought the stimulus was in the mail but it just ended up being the unemployment refund… Better than nothing I guess. I also got the first generic letter regarding the child tax credits so hopefully I’m not delayed there.

Has anyone that’s stuck on eligible no date with dependants gotten an unemployment tax refund yet ? Cuz so far, still no stimulus, now no unemployment tax refund, and I will be lucky if they give me my child tax money although I got a vague letter saying I may be eligible for that. Just wondering. Update,,,I checked Get My Payment tool this morning and my status has been updated since March to a check being mailed on 6/18/21. (Don’t know why it wasn’t deposited in the same bank account that they deducted my payment that was owed for my 2020 taxes….but I digress.) My information also updated in IRS online account. Fingers crossed hopefully I’ll receive this check finally.

Read in another stream of people like us.. that someones state rep had their contact at the irs call them and told them it was a systemic issue not just with them but for many and they are not allowed to tell us when it will be fixed just that if it’s not by the end of the year we will have to file for rebate. I still say UNACCEPTABLE!! I’m still gonna keep reaching out. Messaged graham Allen he’s running for Congress ..worth a try

Update— I checked Get My Payment site this morning and my Payment Status has been updated. It says my payment is to be mailed on 6/18/21. (Not sure why it’s not being deposited to the same account they withdrew the taxes I owed this year..but I digress.) I’ll let you guys know if I receive the payment.

I saw on a news release that they recognize there are people that haven’t received their third stimulus. What their excuse now is that their system cant handle all whats going on, and admitted their system is outdated, but that they are working on correcting it…..BS I’ll believe that when I get my money! They know we need the money but I’m sure they are not losing sleep at night, and they are probably using our money to take care of their own issues. The IRS got me FU!

I finally got a date of 6/18 for my check to be mailed. I initially had my stimulus deposited into a closed acct. the irs then let me update my dd info, which triggered a review of my account. I was told them letting me update it was never supposed to happen. I received a letter telling me I had to wait 8 to 10 weeks for my refund. They will be sending it out at the end of the 10th week.

I’m signing off for a while. I’m assuming I’ll have to file for my third stimulus on my 2021 tax returns. If I get anything before then, I’ll update here. I did get a letter from the IRS about the child tax credit payments, but it was very generic and seemed like something that went to all tax payers. Good luck and God bless.

I called the number Kate provided yesterday the woman took my information and provided me with information I already knew… however the date she gave me for my tax refund was later then when I received it…she said it was issued on May 28th I received my tax return in February …so idk what’s up with that…then she couldn’t provide me with anymore information about my 3rd stimulus but just to keep checking..

@Dman90s, i had that 2021 tab for at least 2 months and still nothing. 2021 tab has been gone for about 2 weeks now…i believe they picked a few of us to screw over cause they broke and too proud to admit it.

Did anyone ever confirm if the 2021 tab showing up on your account balance page equates to any sort of movement on your stimulus? I haven’t had that tab up until early this week. I was reading other posts on FB and other places and people said they got their GMP update not long after that 2021 tab showed up.

Well guys thanks for calling .. it seems there is NO answer other than they are idiots !! If it’s a system issue. I don’t believe that .. you can clearly see we didn’t get it. It says we are eligible. So how hard is it to just issue a payment. Note the account and when issue resolved then update the account that it was sent and when. Never have I seen anything like this ! No co I ever worked for would do this or stand for this for a “customer”. Plain and simple ignorance

Yeah, they’ve been instructed to say they can’t give any more info than GMP tool. It’s obvious we’re not getting any real answers. I waited & filled my taxes on the last day (15th) & I received my refund 6 DAYS LATER! Yep, 6 days. It went to same account that my 3rd stimmy is supposed to go to. WTF??!! I give up trying to figure it out. It’s a lost cause. All we can do is hurry up & wait…ridiculous!!!

@tigerseye, yes my transcripts is where i am seeing my refund date, WMR nor GMP have updated at all…this year has been hell! also, my refund is actually a “recovery rebate” for my second stimulus 🤷♂️…most likely will have to claim another rebate next year🙄

I called today as well…was given the “systemic issue” excuse. They are still distributing stimulus in batches and i may still get it, if not claim it on next years taxes. Wasn’t able to give me a cause of the systemic issue, only stated that the technical people wouldn’t elaborate on what it meant.

I’m not sure what the significance of this date could be to the stimulus, but mine says “as of May 17, 2021”. We are still eligible with no date and have been from the very beginning even though the first two stimulus payments were received with no issues via DD.

Don’t worry. We probably won’t get the child credits or the unemployment refunds. The way things are going id be surprised if I get my tax refund next year. I think our money is funding all of the new projects being announced.

I have been following this thread since March w/the same predicament as everyone else who posted. The first two stimulus I received the day of, I did my tax in Feb but my accountant said there was a glitch on the system that had to be amended through the IRS. My mother is retired, a cancer survivor twice, and dependent on me financially which would help her immensely with this 3rd one whenever it comes in. I’m hoping we all get our stimulus soon.

And then I asked about unemployment refund and she put me on hold then said it’s being reviewed and if I’m owed I’ll get it.

@Kate Who exactly told you and how did you contact them? It seems like there is no definitive answer to this. We are all being told something different. There are still 1.8 million payments that need to be sent and 167 million have already been sent. WE ARE THE 1% and it sucks!!!!!!!!

It never, ever changes from eligible with no deposit date, and signing the release for my senator’s office and them having an IRS rep contact me did absolutely nothing. The rep said their was a glitch that he could do nothing about. Others are being told there is no glitch. There is no way of knowing what the truth is and it’s very frustrating.

@kelvin, actually it’s my 2nd stimulus. i had to claim a rebate when IRS sent it to wrong address and now it’s coming as a “refund”. my actual tax refund i got back in february.

OK so still no update on my stimulus payment but I did speak with a rep at the IRS yesterday who advised me there are no glitches in the system and the IRS continues to send payments weekly so I just have to wait. I also received an email from my state representative with instructions to fill out a privacy release form, which I have done. Will keep you all posted.

Well I said I would update after I verified my identity and was told that would release my stimulis. It definitely didn’t. And I found out today my tax refund was taken for the tax offset program for what I do not know yet but its not right considering the only money I got for my refund was my stimulis payments from last year for my son that I had in Nov of 2020. But my stimulis is still stuck and now I’m worried if they don’t get my payment to me before taxes next yr I wnt gt it

A friend of mine who did not receive his 1st, 2nd, or 3rd stimulus just got a deposit of $1200 yesterday. Out of the blue, no notice from IRS, he has never called IRS, it just showed up in his bank account. There is still hope!!!

I spoke to the irs the other day she basically said we are still sending payments and nothing she could do to speed it along I said well all the releases you all publish say your now sending plus up payments and payments to people who filed 2020 taxes who are now eligible that were not before but nothing about people who have been eligible from the beginning and just have no payment date and she said she has no info she can give me#frustratediwantmymoney

For some reason they didn’t post on their site anything about the 10th batch (5/19). They did for the 11th batch, though, which was released 5/26. SMH

If they have until !2/31 and we really cant file taxes all of January, then we can call January 1st and demand the stimulus before we file any taxes.
From now on im just gonna try and not claim anything that they cant trace and try to add as many expenses, credits, donations anything i can find to get back at them. I know theyll lose more than what they havent sent me…. -

If this is a glitch, then fix it! at least start with a portal where those of us affected can input our info and then they can verify no money sent and just send it !! And I don’t believe the glitch response.. it’s different answer every time someone calls.

“It’s a glitch” is an unacceptable answer. If it is a glitch than it damn well should be fixed. I work with insurance claims. If some one calls me up and tells me they have a check that is owed to them and I investigate and find out that it is the case, that check will be cut (usually the next day). The IRS is budgeted billions per year. If this is a glitch they should line dance their IT department into work and fix the fu*king problem. Tell that to your rep.

I contacted Ohio Senator Brown, signed the release, and about two weeks later got a call from an IRS agent who simply told me that there was a computer glitch, nothing he could do, and to claim it next year on my taxes. Waste of time for me, but I wish you all luck.

back today. I’m signing a privacy form to release my information, and he is contacting the IRS on my behalf. I will keep everyone updated if there is any regress from that. -

Well I F/A 2/22 GMP didn’t update until last Friday 5/21/21 for scheduled DD for 5/26/21. Chase never notified me via text/alerts I just so happened to wake up around 3am central time and it was there EIP3 X,XXX amount. How dare she .. people who make six figures telling us to wait our turn and be thankful? How about they stop boasting that 90% if people have been paid and stop sending plus up payments when not everyone has gotten the first round of money ! I’m so thankful to have found this forum! I received the first 2 payments without issue. I filed my taxes in February and had my refund in a few weeks. This stimulus status hasn’t budged since March… you are eligible for the payment with no date to be sent. I contacted my Congresswoman, who told me to wait my turn and that I should be thankful it says I’m eligible. The IRS refuses to even look at it, just snarky representatives who clearly couldn’t care less.

I contacted Sarah McBride in Delaware. She is bringing this up to the Senators.. so maybe if all of you email your Senators, something will start to happen when they see how many of us there are, when it’s brought up, they will have already heard from some of you and they will say they have also heard about it from people. Worth a try !

@Diana Could you provide link to that article? The IRS has been releasing their own press statements (Wednesdays) as each batch goes out. The last they released (according to their site) was on 5/12, which was the 9th batch.

Called today and person at IRS was rude and very annoyed at everything I was asking. Basically when I said I filed early Feb, said there is no order to how they are sending to the money, and that they have til dec and to just wait. Sick of no answers

Found an article that said the 10th batch of stimulus checks were sent on 5/19/21. So at least the IRS is continuing to send the payments. Keep the faith.

Hard to believe so many people are still waiting. How can our government be so incompetent? What’s worse is that there was no news release from IRS this week about sending out another batch of payments. They’ve been posting updates weekly (Wednesdays) about new batches going out. What’s that mean? Are they done with all the batches? So disheartening to check status and still nothing for over 2 months now…no answers, no rhyme or reason at all. Just helpless…

I emailed two more state reps and my governor again.. I cannot believe we have been forgotten!! It’s ridiculous that they can’t see we are eligible and haven’t been sent anything and just send it !!!! SOOO angry !!! I figure the more we make noise maybe someone will listen or do something!!

so I called today second time this week I have said that I recieved a letter so they won’t put through to the stimmy hotline dated april 12 keeping it consistent every call thet rep asked questions about my refund and my first two stims. and told me that it had been mailed april 15 and to give it one more week to see is not call to get a payment trace. I do not know if I should beleive it.

So short version is I was told when I got more info needed on gmp and put my other bank acct info in it triggered somthing in their system since tech you shouldn’t have got that option unless your mailed check was returned which isn’t the case for me my DD was rejected. And they sent letters to ppl but some got it some didn’t and it says refund not stim. ND to release ur stim u have to verify id or wait 10 wk. I’ll update if I get any change

So I just wanted to post and say what my exp with this issue has been. I got a letter on April 2 saying my refund was returned bcz of bank errors so it would be 10 wks to see if I was actually me and due the $. I hadn’t filed my taxes yet so I called and they said it was for my stim which was rejected on March 17th for idk y. So I had to verify my id for taxes n did that 2day n lady to me my stim will be updated now to n was held due to bank info change triggered id verify

I honestly don’t think we will be getting a check this year. They knew from the beginning they were go to use some of those funds for investing or to pay off there debts. We will definitely be waiting for a rebate. This is so frustrating and all our government cares about is trying to get people to get vaccinated. God help this world we live in!

Same situation. Got first 2 stimulus immediately. Agree that there does not seem to be any common issue with people that this is happening to. For a laugh I guess…and desperation in trying to find a common issue: First number of SSN is 3 and last number is 0. Could one of those be the common denominator? We will see. All I know is that this is ridiculous for a company to be ran in this fashion. The fact that no one in Congress is even concerned about these issues is amazing to me.

Again, no update on GMP. Called the Tax Advocate which said they cannot answer any Stimulus questions and forwarded me to the generic IRS Stimmy hotline. Now the IRS is not taking calls on the “talk to a person” number on this site. They know they have a really bad situation on their hands, but I don’t think they know how they are going to fix it.

When I used to get them mine were deposited onto my card on the 9th of every month because the last digit in my SS# is 9. IDK, this is all so f*cked up! It’s very depressing to wake up each day for last 2 months to see no update & have no explanation..

I don’t think the delay for us has anything to do with dates taxes were filed. I’ve seen many that filed super early & many that have filed within last couple of weeks. Might it have something to do with our social security numbers? For example, SNAP (food stamps), which is federally funded, disperses payments according to the last digit of your SS #.

I pay the IRS $100 a month for an old tax debt. That they still want. My account works fine for paying money to them. Not so much apparently for receiving money from them. For what it is worth my bank on file with them is PNC. This month I made payment with a BBVA account that I opened a while ago and did not use (but it is still active). I want to see if the change in bank info triggers anything with the IRS.

Same boat. This sh*t is beyond ridiculous at this point! I mean there’s no excuse for taking this long! Worst of all, though, is the fact that they can’t even give us a clear answer or explanation to help ease our minds. Just leaving us out in stimmy purgatory… we’re supposed to be getting that money to help us through tough times, but it’s gonna be too late for help before long. I’m nearly 2 months behind on rent. Not too far away from utilities getting shut off.

I received the 1st. Filed for the 2nd. I receive SSDI. Called IRS. Told me there is a glitch. They can’t manually override & they are looking into the problem. They have till Dec 31st to get it fixed & out to everyone, so I will just have to keep looking at GMP every day. If I don’t get it by the end of the year, claim it on the recovery rebate line, next year. A basic “Suck it up buttercup, you’ll get it when you get it. Don’t call anymore”

We are both employed and were both employed last year. Our refund has already been approved and deposited. BUT we still haven’t received the other half of our 3rd stimulus payment. When calling the IRS they just say “You should have it before the end of the year.” This is ridiculous. It has been stuck at eligible with no payment date for months. I signed the petition.

So my inlaws stayed with us a couple years ago and sometimes we get some of their mail at our house.
Today, we received the letter from the white house to my father in law saying that he got the $1400 and so on and so on.
What if I called the number and say that I wanna do a payment trace and that I got the letter? Is there some sort of confirmation number on the letter that would be specific to my father in law??Just checking, thanks…

So I just checked I.D and I have white envelope coming from Austin TX, says “ economical impact payment” I had suppose to receive on 4/16 according to I.D but still haven’t received it. I called last week and said it’s tied (stimulus) w/my refund. Oh yeah the first EIP card said from Omaha NE was sent to new address, this one says from Austin TX “presorted first class mail” in a white envelope mailed to old address??? Any thought?

The check I got today was dated 5/6/21. Because of the change, my AGI was actually lowered. I’m hoping that the IRS needed to complete this and recalculate my AGI before they could send the stimulus. It’s a check for the unemployment taxes. Since we filed before the stimulus passed, we had unemployment taxes included. So they have of our information and can send a piddly check but can’t send the stimulus! Still eligible no date. This one hurts.

Mine has said eligible from beginning with no date yet. I got 2020 refund they day first stim payments were sent but no stim. I’ve called IRS 3 times. Each time was told different reason. Latest was it’s just a glitch I’ll probably have to wait and claim on taxes next year. No rhyme or reason mine won’t update nothing I or anyone can do allegedly. I let him know pretty unfair to do to some for no reason. We need the money too. It’s not fair at all.

The point is, money is fungible. If the stimulus doesn’t arrive, you get a bigger refund/smaller tax bill next spring. If you want the money right now and you normally get a refund, then adjust your W-4, and voila – you got a stimulus!

I’m over it! and chalk it up as if the money doesn’t exist I emailed Walden the senator of Oregon since he’s pushing for a fourth stimulus. Don’t know if it will help or not. My daughter-in-law got a letter from the IRS saying if she didn’t receive hers to come in. the thing is she has received it. Now they sending out letters to the wrong people!

In a similar situation to many here and tired of waiting, I just went ahead and adjusted my W-4 to reduce payroll federal tax withholding. It will all come out the same at tax filing, but for now, I will receive a series of DYI stimulus payments.

@kelvin, INCORRECT. My second stimulus i had to do a rebate and it was taken for a debt. Once you file a rebate it’s considered a “refund”..trust me on this it happened to me.

Called the irs.spoke with person who took info, told me, saw no money issued yet, no reason why. Said, keep waiting. might get it, might have to wait til next year. Said without the date and letter. There was nothing they could do, told me to wait til after the tax season to call again. Basically, told me nothing, No answers. I saw on Reddit a forum where someone reached out to their state rep and received a letter from the irs which basically said that they received their 2020 return and it should of triggered the determination for the stimulus but it didn’t so it was a system error on their end and they should refer to the 2021 rebate credit in their next taxes

I was able to speak to someone from the IRS and stated this was happening to people with tax debts and that payment were still being process. And if we do not get it by December 2021 it would have to be claimed on next year tax returns. I don’t know what to believe anymore. This is so unfair and stressful. Btw, they kept my tax refund to pay my tax debt so I don’t owed them any money now but im left in limbo just like everyone else.

I agree they are giving this canned statement to all early filers even though that may be the case. I personally filed Jan 30 and received my refund Feb 23. The IRS rep said she could “See” in the system that they are working it and trying to force the payment to go. In fairness many time the govt goes with the lowest bidder when it comes to their technology…shouldn’t be surprised.

Their system glitch isn’t affecting all early filers. My sister received her refund 02/17 and still got her stimulus with the first batch. Also, a system error should not take until mid-summer to correct. They are just giving us an excuse to buy them more time. We will likely be filing this as a rebate and it is not right at all.

So I called Tax refund number and asked for a payment trace the rep was helpful and said that it was a system issue holding up my payment and did not know how long it would take to give it two weeks and if nothing updated to call back the stimulus line is just an outside call center thats why theyy give vague info . They dont have it you have to call tax refund line they can pull up your info.

I think the IRS is provided some scripted answers based on that there is a glitch in the symptoms for those who filed early and that is the reason why we have not received our 3rd stim yet. My wife and I filed our taxes at the same time on February 12th and 14th thru Turbo Tax. My wife received her 3rd stimulus in the first batch that was sent right after the bill was signed

That is not the case for us either. I filed our taxes the week after the 3rd stimulus payments started going out, so if they think the glitch only includes early filers, they’re wrong.

So I requested a Congressional Inquiry into my stimulus from my Rep (Florida) back on April 21. I received a call from the IRS a few minutes ago! She confirmed that there is indeed a glitch in the IRS system preventing those whose taxes were filed prior to the EIP3 from getting their payment. She says they are working on it and hope to have the problem fixed by mid summer but if not it will have to be claimed as a rebate on next years taxes :(

Called my bank to make your nothing was rejected and they no. Called the IRS and was told basically to keep waiting, that they were still sending payments out through the end of this year. Also, he stated that they are basing payments on 2020 tax returns. I filed mine late March and it was received and processed in a week’s time so that shouldn’t affect the stimulus payment. The guy on the phone took a lot of time checking my account, don’t know why they just can’t push it through.

do we need a letter telling us we were given the payment? I was thinking about doing a trace just to see if my bank rejected the payment or not. With our 2019 taxes, we qualify no problem, but with 2020 we would be at the top so I have been putting off doing my taxes in the hopes I get the stimulus before filing. I keep checking GMP with no change and have called the IRS twice, thinking about calling the number @ plizzy put in their most recent post just to see.

@Stimmyxiety and @kelvin. I told the agent that my bank rejected my payment and gave them the date which was 3/18/21 and that I haven’t received any information from the IRS. That is when they transferred me to the 800-829-1040 number.

Update, I called the EIP number and told them I needed to do a trace on my Stimulus. After waiting for over an hour (I didn’t mind because I had time today) the agent pulled up my information and reissued me a paper check. When my pmt was rejected by my bank IRS didn’t process another check to either be mailed or deposited. I’m not getting too excited until I actually receive this payment. I’ll keep you updated.

I have BOA but they told me yesterday that even though GMP says direct deposit it still will come by mail because bank didn’t accept the payment first time they sent it on March 17th. The real waiting game

@Fernando If you didn’t receive your stimulus check and received a notice stating you did you need to contact the IRS @ 800-919-9835 and request a payment trace. Keep the letter though as you’ll need to reference it. Good luck!

My situation sucks lol
I’m still waiting for my stimulus check and today I received the notice letter from irs that I was given the money of the third stimulus, like the past two.
But this time I never got it and it was sent in check.
So now I have to do the rebate claim thing on my taxes, but I already turned in my taxes since March 10 and still haven’t gotten anything..So I don’t know how to claim it if I already did them, should I admen it?

I have had you are eligible with no payment date with my bank account listed since March. It hasn’t changed. So frustrating when it seems like everyone around me has gotten it.

The 7th round of stimulus would have shown pending on Friday and posted to accounts yesterday. My hope is that we are in the 8th round which will show up as pending tomorrow (4/30)

@diana I called and spoke to rep about payment trace letting them know I received a letter but no payment yet,they told that they had tried direct deposit but my bank sent it back but that I should receive a check by may 31st -June 14.
I’ve been waiting since March 17. Call EIP number and tell them you want a payment trace. -

I have a letter stating I received the stimulus payment direct deposit,which I haven’t. My GMP tool still says eligible but no payment date yet. But I get a letter saying I did,I’m on the phone now to see if I can make a payment trace. today is Wednesday which is the day for direct deposits to hit the account ,but nothing yet. I have checked everything and nothing. Hopefully I can get better answers to what’s going on but this is ridiculous honestly.

I just emailed the tips hotline for CNN. I explained the facts, the problem, and the solution (to reach out for us). I clipped a picture of the GMP tool and what it says with qualifying and no date, AND shared the link to this forum. I stated there are many in this same situation who are being left out with no answers. Hopefully CNN will pick up the story and get the answers that we need. Fingers crossed!

Still nothing here and mostly everyone that I know have received their stimulus around mid March. Our elected official have failed “we the people” again. Write to your local officials and let them know about this. Our voices need to be heard. This is unacceptable. They told us help is here but we are still waiting.

If you read on the right hand side of transcripts, it states that; wages transcripts are usually not available until around “july”..i doubt wages transcripts has anything to do with all this.

@Kate I feel your frustration. Everyone I personally know has gotten their check. I’m out of ideas and just believe they are holding the funds so they can invest it until the deadline or the new tax season. They stand to make alot of money by not dispersing our money now.

The letter wasn’t for me, it was for a family member stating they are going to get their stimulus and call if they dont, funny thing is… They got theirs direct deposit I’m March!!!! I still have no update, no letter and no money !!!! Someone at my job said they just got the letter too, and she already got her money over a month ago .. WTF… SOOOOO FRUSTRATING!!!! I just got my transcript in the mail yesterday and it shows my refund. The only thing that has changed for me is acct. and GMP has the correct one the other thing is that my 21-year-old is on this one So I don’t know why we’re going through this.

We did not get our refund on the 17th. We didn’t even file until the weekend after the 17th because I thought that might be the reason that we hadn’t gotten the stimulus, which doesn’t seem to be the case.

I just checked my transcript and you’re right, Under wage and income for 2020 it does show no record of return, even though we filed and have already received a refund. Ugh. The other years have the information, just not 2020. -

FYI> For those of you emailing the commissioner, as I did, DO NOT expect an answer in your email. I have read that the IRS NEVER SENDS emails to anyone. This means to me, if they do read our emails we are going to get a form letter mailed to your address if you provided it in in the email. Again, agitating, ridiculous and frustrating!

Under the heading Wages and Income on your transcript shows you filed and list your income? It shows my income on all the other 3 tabs but says no record on the Wages and Income tab. Just want to verify because everyone else is saying No record of return filed. -
Yesterday I received the Letter of notice 1444-c stating that I’m receiving this letter because I have or will receive the $1,400 by direct deposit. It also says if I don’t receive it within 7 days that should contact IRS. I don’t know how I got the letter but no money makes no sense.

I can check my transcript if you tell me where exactly you are looking for the wages. They definitely have our wages listed when I log in through the link on the Get My Payment website on that first page where you can see the first two stimulus payments with totals and then the third with $0.00 listed right now.

I wish we could determine if there is a common thread for all of us that are showing eligible with no date. We are a family of four, one college student, one 17 year old. Our first two stimulus payments were direct deposited with no problems. When we didn’t get the 3rd payment, I filed our taxes for 2020. We received our refund shortly after by direct deposit into the same account where the 3rd payment should be deposited if we ever get a date. It is baffling and frustrating.

I sent a letter to commissioner too but have a feeling these emails will unnoticed or passed off to some clerk who has no clue what the heck they are doing! I have also called my local congressman’s office each week to drive them crazy and they are telling me they are unable to access the IRS portal till after May. This is just ludicrous on how we are being treated. All I will say is I NEVER had a problem when Trump was in office…just sayin.

I was reading about how the IRS is holding back millions of tax returns, and i can understand that. filing EITC and child tax credit have to be viewed and processed manually, but NOT the stimulus! so what is the hold up????

I too have sent an email to the commissioner. I feel it is worth a try but have a feeling these emails are just going to get either deleted or read by some low level clerk and nothing done. I hope I am wrong. I am in same situation as most of you has said I am eligible with no payment date and correct dd account info since it was issued. I just sent an email to the Commissioner as well. I’ve received the same message as everyone else since March with no payment date. I received 1st and 2nd via direct deposit but still nothing on the 3rd. Filed 2020 taxes 3/19/2021. I hope we hear something soon and they do not make us waiting to file taxes next year. Very frustrating!

I called the IRS last night. I was told that the rep could not speak to the ongoing batches. She stated that this message means that I will get a stimulus, but they have until December. It was noted that she does not know why I have not gotten it…but that I should have it direct deposited, eventually. When I asked her if it is simply a waiting game, she said yes! The info is very generic, as they don’t even take your SSN to make it specific to you. I hope we get it, soon…

@misunderstood, I have the same issue still waiting on a deposit date. I did receive a receipt from the IRS today for the $101 I owed in taxes for my 2020 taxes. This is beyond ridiculous they didn’t hesitate to withdraw the taxes I owed but couldn’t deposit my 3rd stimulus check. I’m beyond frustrated.

On IRS didnt show anything since last month I checked today and it says 0.00 on the irs website but on gmp its been saying I’m eligible for payment once they have a date available they will update gmp but it’s been like that since last month the day after they announced about the 3rd eip. I spoke to someone at the IRS for Economic payment and the guy said people with the eligible but no payment date should of received their payments and that he would transfer me to an actual IRS rep to see what’s the hold up but of course my transfer didn’t go through and we got disconnected
I called back got a woman who just basically said they have all year to give out the payments
They don’t even know what’s going on

This last batch of payments were for plus up payments and for people who had no info on file with the IRS and
just filed a tax return. Doesn’t say anything about people who have not received their payment and are eligible.
I have been stuck on that “you are eligible” but no payment date since mid March. I received the first two DD with

Informed Delivery showed a letter (CP53) from the IRS 3/29/21 I never got the letter. I spoke with an IRS agent on 4/6/21 said my stimulus deposit was rejected by my bank on 3/18/21 and the IRS didn’t cancel the direct deposit until 3/29/21. I told the agent that on GMP it stated that my stimulus was being deposited but there wasn’t a date yet and that it hasn’t updated since 3/19/21 & I would receive my stimulus check I in 10 weeks.

Mine has been showing the same message since the beginning also. I filed with Jackson Hewitt end of January. Got my refund no problem. Now waiting 2 months for this. I heard they did a test to see how sending through the tax preparers info would work and it was successful. Im wondering if they used all our info for the test and now the computer is glitched thinking we already got ours sent? If so you would think it would be as easy as pushing a button to fix it.

Same message here…you are eligible, bank info is correct, no date. I finally got through to a person at the IRS who said there is a glitch in the system, but he didn’t explain what the glitch is, or when or if the IRS will even fix it. Super frustrating and disappointing.

My boyfriend semi retired. Works part time. Filed his taxes and got his refund in February. His GMP has been saying since day 1 that he is eligible with his account number on there but no payment. R they confused what to do because he worked and received Social Security?

It’s strange how my 1st comment about the IRS showing proof they will send the government back all that money they dont disperse to the people they want to file a rebate in 2022. So they are going to hold in to that money for over a year and do nothing with it? I think not. This unacceptable!

Called IRS. Agent sent me to a “Stimulus Hotline” which gave me an agent who would not look up my information, but only provide VERY generic information readily available on the internet. -
Checked this morning, still no update. Filed early and received refund on 2/19. Got first two EIP through direct deposit with no problem. The wait is excruciating, especially when everyone else around you has gotten theirs.

Signed up for informed delivery & received notification 4/15 that EIP arriving but nothing has arrived & nothing changed on GMP link. Checked account in IRS web & shows 1st & 2nd stim with amounts but 3rd says $0. Received notification let from IRS (nothing with stimmy) the next day so hope I was not mislead on EIP.

Same status here, I spoke to someone at the IRS last week and they said basically what everyone else on here has said is that we have to wait. We have not filed our taxes yet, I received the other stimulus with no issues, my status has not changed at all, the only change I saw is that my tax record on my IRS account shows a 3rd stimulus line with a zero dollar amount. I keep hoping it hits soon!

Same here- eligible for payment and will be deposited into my bank account but not date since March 17. My other two stims were deposited to my bank account quickly without any issues. I filed my taxes on March 23 and partial tax return received because I owned some previous tax debt but the was processed without any problems. I’m wondering what’s happening with us. Been on this site since March 19th and I noticed that none of us have got our Stimulus yet. I have talk to IRS today and they have no answer again one girl did say there might be a glitch because a lot of people didn’t get their stimulus without it update which makes no sense so hopefully we are one of those glitch and get our check in the mail

We still have this status as well. When I finally got in touch with a person at the IRS, they said that this will not be sent until I refund is approved/processed. So it is not going to update until then. We filed 2/27 so we did not file early and we still have this “Eligible for payment” with no date status on the stimulus. No update on refund either. Still just waiting. Hope this helps someone know they aren’t alone.

Same here, eligible but no date since the very beginning. Also did not get my second payment and when I filed for the rebate, the IRS reduced it to what they thought it should be. Help line for stimulus information is a joke they have 0 information. I’m a direct deposit and I filed my taxes in Jan 2021…I should have had mine already. Its BS.

Same boat here! Received my $31 federal refund quicker than ever this year. Filed with Turbo Tax as usual. I did add a 1099 to my employment this year, and change my filing status (HH to MFJ) – otherwise no flags, debts, etc…
I’ve been “Eligible, but no date since the beginning”. I called IRS a few days ago and the woman I spoke to was unable to assist at all (besides directing me to GMP). -
Still stuck in stimulus purgatory with no end in sight. We received the last two stimulus payments by direct deposit, no problem. We are below the wage limit. We have filed and received our refund. I have no idea why this time is different and no idea what to do about it.

I received the first two w/ np, was in the 1st batch both times. This time I’m not sure what is going on, I changed banks and that information is on there from filing taxes, just continues to say the same message as everyone else. no payment date. I am eligible.. says my account number and that it will be deposited. I check every day. I just don’t get it everyone I work with got theirs, all my family has gotten theirs. I should have been in the first round . I got my refund in Feb. Im just curious how many of us had unemployment money last year ? This bill that was passed for the economic impact payments made a horrible mistake by giving the IRS a window up until 12/21 to send out payments. They could care less about the people who are waiting and those that really need the help financially. I cant understand if this is a bill to help people, why would you give the IRS such a ridiculous window? Therefore , the IRS have no obligation to tell the public anything.

@help my transcript does not show anything about my stimulus. The last thing it shows is the credit (from my refund) was transferred on 4/5/21 (code 826). And that a notice was issued 4/12/21 (code 971) but I received that notice in the mail last week.

I too have been getting the same message as long as you have been getting it-today I checked and it says this now:
We scheduled your payment to be mailed on April 16, 2021 to the address we have on file for you.
We will mail you a letter with additional information on this payment.
Also, on my account page that has the Economic Impact Payment Amounts. Previously, it had $0 for the 3rd EIP, now it states an amount.

Right. I call IRS every other day. On hold for hrs. they tolded me they are backed up and no one in there department has control of the system. It’s all generated from the computer systems. So the answers they are giving us is the answers we see on the IRS website. I’ve been having the same status since 3/12 almost a month and nothing can be done. Hopefully soon.

SO FRUSTRATING!! 1st stimulus check sent to a closed bk acct – t was kicked back GMP need more info & let me correct my Bank info. 4 wks later I got a check in the mail. 2nd stmulus check they mailed me a check with no problem. This time it was sent to same closed account as the 1st one. Bank kicked it back then status changed to eligible and reflects the correct bank info I entered in 2020 but no date..

Update. Called IRS yesterday. The agent said they see the same as I do on GMP. Could not give a reason for delay. More batches are coming. All he said is that I need to check GMP for an update. So frustrating. I got both the first 2 payments quickly. I can’t help but feel this is the result of a new incompetent administration.

I spoke to IRS reps and all they tell me is that it will come but as a mailed check when the app has a date for it but it won’t be DD even though it says that on “get my payment”. Hopefully we won’t be forgotten much longer. Wish you guys luck. And if anything changes let us know. I’m locked out for 24hrs for checking too many times lol.

I have had the same issue, we received both the 1st and 2nd stimulus via DD status states we’re eligible has my account and no date! So very frustrating! I did talk to someone at the IRS help-line last week and they told me to be patient and keep checking..does not mean I won’t get it DD because they are going to continue sending them out. Really hoping to get ours soon.

EIP #3 GMP TOOL says eligible without DD date. My kids get survivor benefit but I work also and file taxes every year. Same info. Why does irs say if you filed and got refund dd you should get stimulus when it’s still not deposited? GMP TOOL is not updated as of today either. It’s like one lie after another. I doubt we will get it on 4/7. This is not right. We can’t even call to get answers. I have such hatred right now.

I spoke with someone at the irs and was told that the stimulus should process 3 weeks after the tax refund process date. I was told my tax refund was processed on 3/15 and the stimulus should give a date by the 5th.

My stimulus was set to be deposited on March 17, but my account was closed. A few days later I was brought to the NMI page and I entered in my current bank account info. Been logging in since then only to get the same message. When they have a ddd they will update. Anyone know how long this takes or if I should just be checking my mailbox for check or card?

I did mess up on my taxes and was sent a letter with the correct amount for my refund and that latter says 6 to 8 weeks for my taxes to come in I don’t know if that has anything to do with why I havnt received my stimulus yet idk just mad at this point! If you paid your fees with refund and had it deposited it into your bank they set up a temp bank that closes after a while so it got sent to it and it got denied . Well it looks like it’s happened again like many of us had our check mailed instead of deposited that is why -

For the love of god stop freaking out over the DD’s changing from a deposit to payment. I’ve posted three threads and multiple links that nobody seems to want to read. The IRS is limited to 3 direct deposits to any one SSN or ITIN. Once 3 direct deposits have been made in a 12 month period all payments thereafter will be converted to paper.

So I am STILL getting this status even after the stays update today, so I called the IRS ANDDDD after almost 2 hours got through! So this status means that we ARE approved for a stimulus payment and that our patent will go out with one of the MANY batches they will be dispersing every day! So it’s false that they only go out on Wednesdays and it’s false that this last batch was the last one. They will continue everyday until all dd’s are out.

We each got a DD for each of us for the stimulus checks which alone made 6 DD in one account and also didn’t get our 2019 refund until late due to covid and IS so that makes 7 DD in the same account in less then a 12 month period!!!

The article that I read yesterday said they would be doing direct deposits through the 31st. That would make next Wednesday the last day for deposit, which would be character of the last 2 deposits, which also took place on Wednesdays.

If the IRS was more forthcoming about their processing decisions and sequencing, there would be less speculation, less stress and fewer phone calls. Also, the fact that Congress dumped stimulus issues on IRS in the midst of the busiest part of the 2020 tax season and trying to catch up with late 2019 returns and stimulus 1 and 2 errors, has compounded the problems. All without increases in staffing and updated computer systems. Its a MESS!

The three deposit in a 12 month period is not true my stepdaughters both got all stimulus and tax deposited in the same account so they got three stimulus checks and theyre refund. I dont know what is going on with the irs the only thing i can think of is building interest from the money before sending it.

I believe that I’m in exactly the same boat as you. I’m kicking myself for being. good boy and filing my taxes right before they passed this latest stimulus. Otherwise the IRS would have direct-deposited my stimulus money and had to mail me my measly tax return as a check. I should’ve waited until much later to file my taxes.

Just noticed on on my transcript that I have received three direct deposits in past 12 months beginning with first stimulus on 15 April 2020. Since then I have received 2nd stimulus in Jan 21 and 2020 refund on 17 March 2021. IRS policy starting in 2015 was that no more than three direct deposit is in an account in any 12 moth period. If that is reason guess i will ll have to wait until after 15 April to get the third stimulus. Make sense?

I got that same message when I checked wmp site on the 13 March. On the 20th I updated to a date for the 26th. So yeah be patient and im sure u will update to a date soon. Or later who knows but u Gucci tho😊👌 I am still waiting for whatever payment hopefully Friday the 26th like site says. Good Luck tho @

Thanks for the info, that guideline shows a date of 2015, being that these payments are because of the covid, they should’ve bypassed that rule and get the money to all the people who needs it right away. It’s frustrating that we see no updates anywhere while millions of people have received theirs….just plain st@#$%^id..

White House comments states from yesterday the following:
March 12th through 15th first deposits are made
March 15th through 31st remaining direct deposits will be made and some checks mailed
April 1st through 15th checks and cards arrive -
EIP cards and checks have been sent due to limits on how many direct deposits can be made in a 12 mo period

@sri Thanks for info but the agent’s denial that 3/17 refund date has anything to do with delayed stimulus payments doesn’t help much.. Better if she told you what the reason for the delay actually is. The parameters IRS is using to determine the stulus processing batches is beyond comprehension. Seems that lot’s of folks who have already received stimulus deposits are struggling to get their refunds while others who have received their refunds (like us) are in stimulus limbo. .

@helpme. I was told they can’t/won’t take your stimulus for any tax debt, whether it be state or federal.
Only thing they said about who can take it is people who have judgements against them from a creditor or someone who’s had they’re bank account frozen or levied by a creditor.
I think you’ll be fine bcuz hubby owed federal taxes this yr and they didn’t touch is stimulus he received on 3/17

Same message here. Have used same bank account on taxes for a decade. I was one of the last people to get direct deposited stimulus last time. Looks like that’s going to happen again this time, regardless of what the media and IRS are saying about payment dates.

I just called IRS, and they mentioned that if portal is saying you are eligible for stimulus you will receive in next couple of weeks .
She denied the reason for delay is tax refund on same day 03/17. let’s wait for couple of weeks. -

I’ve had the same message on mine since the law was passed. It says we’re eligible and that the fundS will be direct deposited, but we haven’t seen a thing in our bank account. I filed my 2020 taxes 3 weeks ago and we already got our federal refund in the same bank account. It is also the same bank account that they deposited the other two stimulus payments in.
I’m glad I’m not the only one having the same issue, makes me feel somewhat better.

Still the same message and no stimulus yet again today. WTF?! I don’t understand why it’s being delayed so much. My ex has gotten hers and for one of our children, and I just keep waiting for mine along with our other 2 children. So damn frustrating!

I am beginning to think it might be an IRS computer software glitch perhaps coding the 17 March tax refunds as stimulus payments thereby preventing a new date. Truth is I have no clue but one way or the other, by the law, IRS must make the payment to eligible tax payers.

I see that many people like myself show eligible with no date. One statement that repeats is that I like many above received their Tax return on the 17 th of March. I think the IRS may have a problem in their program, preventing duplication of checks.
I hope they find away of correcting this or other problem any will be able to send check sooner than latter. . -

Posted earlier today, just spoke to IRS rep, who was basically useless. Couple of things I did find out. They have no set date for the next distribution of stimulus checks, the rep told me they have the entire calendar year of 2021 to issue these checks. When I pushed harder as to why 90 some odd million got their checks on the 17th and what the parameters were for getting that money, she really had no answer. That update could come next week, next month or six months from now.

P.S. I received my tax refund deposit on 17 March so seems that is common to some of us. Perhaps stimulus update will be forthcoming over night. Hope so. IRS needs to do a better job of communicating. The “get My payment” tool just causes confusion.

Chose Amex Serve from TaxAct for Stim 1 & 2. Big mistake. Only works online, no ATM will take it. Was worried about Stim 3 posting on it too. Called Direct Express today and was surprised and pleased to hear Stim 3 pending for Mar 24, bypassing this pathetic Serve card. Will be so happy to cancel and cut it up. No clue how IRS decides these things, but Stim 3 may not come the same as Stim 1 & 2 despite what you may read. Get My Payment still has no info, didn’t work last year either.

So I finally got answer to 3rd stimulus this morning
I was told when I called IRS once your refund is processed and deposited to your account, they process your 3rd stimulus a week later since they were told to go by 2020 tax return if 2020 not on file then only are they to go by 2019 return. My DDD is scheduled for 03/34 and I was told my 3rd stimulus should be issued to my 2020 account by 03/ 31 if not by week from refund on account I have to call in regards 3rd stimulus. -
Still says I’m eligible and date will be provided, I did check my transcripts this morning (I’m weekly) and my as of date changed from 3/29/2021 to 4/5/2021 so I thought maybe I would get a date for stimulus soon but I just checked transcripts again and the as of date changed back to 3/29/2021. So frustrating, basically everyone I know has already gotten the 3rd stimulus.

So I got my stimulus when the first deposits went out (this was before my 2020 taxes were processed) and my husband and I filed separate in 2019 so my stimulus was only for my son and I. Well since the start my husbands WMP has said he is eligible for a payment and a date will be provided when available. I am hoping we get the other half.

Is it possible this “letter” they are sending is actually a check? Why else would they need to take an extra step and send a letter? Mine has the last 4# of account for dd but it’s the Turbocard….. Received tax refund 3/17 on turbocard….but I saw others get both refund and stimulus3 on the 17th!

Thank goodness I am seeing all of you with the same message on the IRS website. We got our last two payments right away so I was worried when I saw that we are eligible for the payment but no date listed and everyone else I asked got theirs on the 17th. Hopefully, we will all get ours soon.

If you meet the criteria to be eligible then you are getting the stimulus. It’s not really a question of if, but when we will all get it. I just read a USA Today article that states the IRS said they will be continuing to send out direct deposits “in the coming weeks”.. And that GMP is the only way to check status, not to call. Not much helpful info there but for those that worried they weren’t doing anymore DD, they did confirm they are still sending them over the next few weeks.

I really wish they would tell us if that the case if there is a connection to the two , because that’s not fair to leave a lot of people in the dark as to wether they’re getting money or not. I’m assuming that’s the case we got our federal on the same day. I checked again today nothing has changed.

I’m getting the same message, no date, just eligible but I too received my federal on 3/17. Maybe that’s the issue? The stimulus and our federal are causing a delay? Maybe they’re holding ours to confirm we are in fact still eligible to receive the stimulus? This seems to be the most common situation. All others we received on time via DD and nothing has changed other then we did make a lot less last year and I did receive unemployment.

Honestly we will most likely get a deposit or pending deposit before GMP or transcripts update. At least that’s how it’s been going for everyone that did get it.

I have had the same status since last week. I know they say GMP updates daily, but I am starting to wonder if it updates along the same times that WMR does based on your cycle, which if that is the case then cycle 5 should update tonight over night. I guess we will see tomorrow. I honestly feel that the IRS should be more equipped to handle this being as they are in charge of auditing people’s taxes(I know they are busy right now).

I have gotten the same message this morning says I am eligible and page will update with date once it has one. Don’t understand on ALL my other stimulus checks have gotten on the first wave. This morning it says I am eligible no date yet blah blah blah. You have no one to call, no site to refer to for a date this is ridiculous.

Does anyone know how they did the waves of DD last time? Were they just a few days apart or a week apart or what? I’m thinking they will be probably do them on Wednesdays each week for a few weeks but that’s just a guess. I know for the second one I got mine exactly a week after my fiance got his.

We have more than 1 dependent. Ours split between the hubby and I. So there are 7 of us total (8 but 1 college student), last stimulus we had two deposits of $2,100. It was the same with the first one. Split deposits. It looks like it will be the same with the 3rd.

Forgot to mention for all 3 payments they have split ours into 2. 1st was both dd, 2nd was half dd then half mailed as check, 3rd says dd for both halves. Also, we do file married jointly and have not filed taxes for 2020 yet.

Yes. We are a family of four and two are dependents. We do dd with a traditional bank. Our bank has received half of our total payment and the other half under my husbands ss# has the you are eligible/ no payment date yet message.

Yeah, i checked GMP Sunday and received the same message about being eligible for the payment…updating once they have a payment date blazè blazè…as someone else mentioned they may be sending them in waves again and we just werent included in this first wave. Hope we all get our stimmy soon! 🤞🏾

@S3H ya I’m sure they will be sending DD to banks this week and next, maybe longer. All I know from the last 2 stimulus payments with my experience (I receive a paper check) is that I didn’t receive the payment or a date until after they finished sending the DD out. My husband uses regions and his is set for 17th, so hopefully I’ll get a date for mine possibly the following week or after. Atleast that’s what I’m hoping for. Good luck w/yours.

I know with the second stimulus my fiancé and I got ours a week apart (both direct deposits).. so I don’t think there’s only one wave of direct deposits. I imagine they will be sending them the 17th, then again maybe next Monday or next Wednesday, something like that.

I think it just means you weren’t a first round pick for DD. My little bro got the same, he is always like last to get deposited the stimmy. I think its just sheer bad luck on his part…..hahaha
