Post here..I heard tax act isn’t pushing returns through. May have to file through a different company.
I filed with taxact on the 29th and was not accepted. I sent in again in the 31st and still was not accepted. Yesterday I called taxact and they said it could take up to a week. I didn’t want to wait any longer and did it again this morning. This time it was instantly accepted by the IRS

I filed Jan 31, and it was accepted immediately. I mean filed 6;18p and accepted 6:19p and my state a few minutes later. I filed two states, CA and NY where the CA was accepted the few mins later and my NY was thos morning. I have filed with TA for over 10 years and have never had one single problem ever!

Update: Just re-efiled through Tax Act and was submitted a couple minutes later.
I efiled on the 25th and still haven’t been accepted. About to resubmit now.

Guys just a little trick I just did…actually logged back in taxact re efiled within seconds Federal was accepted. I hope this helps someone.
Filed with Taxact on 29th and it was accepted in minutes.
I just filed with Taxact and my federal return was accepted 4 minutes later. Eic and same dependents for the last several years.
Free-er than turbo or taxslayer – they both wanted a pretty penny for a 1099r.
I originally filed with Tax Act on January 26th and have been waiting to be accepted. I took your advice and filed with FreeTaxUSA and it was rejected at saying that somebody had used my dependent Alr ready filed without the dependent I’m going to have to mail in an amendment later on but at least there is progress. I just received an email from FreeTaxUSA saying congratulations my federal return has been accepted wow now I can sleep at night thank you.
I filed with them on Monday and still pending this is ridiculous
I filed with Freetax today and was accepted 10 minutes later.
