just listening. Respectfully disagree. MANY who were sold the idea of the advantages of filing early..ie Turbo Tax, got sadly disappointed. Many of us have been waiting 30 days,or close to it. I HAVE NEVER EVER had to wait this long…even the first year of path. Its not unrealistic expectations to want your money in a timely reasonable fashion. This year , for whatever reason, wasn’t typical. Going forward, its a learning tool for all of us.Moral of the story, expect the worst and don’t assume that you will get your money in a certain timeframe. We set ourselves up for a let down. The path needs fixed first of all..or maybe thrown out and re-done. Lastly, the IRS either lacks the tools they need to streamline how they expedite returns or they are inept. Must fix all of the above. I learned my lesson…save money if possible, pay the fees up front, don’t use TT…and try Netspend. This tax season was a fiasco. Anyone who cant see that is delusional.

This year isn’t really bad at all. This Path ordeal has been going on for a few years now and the first was terrible. This year has been pretty much like clockwork. If you look at the past years timeline then you’ll see that things are being processed and released in pretty much the same manner. Just because you don’t get the money when you think you should doesn’t mean that things aren’t working correctly. The IRS made it very public that certain credits would cause a delay and also that those with the Path delay shouldn’t expect their refund until at least the 27th.

Nothing for me either. Fees with Republic then to Chime card. Nothing in Republic yet! Hoping for tonight!! Geezzzz!!
