Filed with TT and bank with WF. I assume it wont be deposited Today? I see a lot of people are getting theirs deposited a day before the DDD. Just curious if that is everyone or what. -
My refund was supposed to be sent to my Adp card on the 27th. I never received it. I called (800) 779-7228. The bank that issues the refunds today and they said it didn’t get through to my bank so they mailed a check the 28th. My sent status never changed. Hope this number helps someone.

I called my tax preparer TODAY on 3/4.
He said my refunds were deposited into his business account and
he will have my check ready by tonight. -

No I haven’t received the rwmainder of my refund after my 180 offset was paid. The feanchuse tax board did tell me on the phone Wed if I dont get it by the 14th to call back… :/ another wait game

No they will not. They told me once you make 5 months of payments the system will automatically be notified that they can’t take your next year’s taxes. It takes 6 months of executive payments to get out of default…you cant be late or miss one payment otherwise you will be out of the payment plan and its a once time opportunity. And as far as your taxes from 2017 I’m sure they will give you a penalize fee for not filing for that year and I am pretty sure once you file they will take that as well. Unless you don’t file 2017…make 6 months of payments to get yourself out of default than next year file 2017 and 2019 together that’s what I would do to make sure you get it

Okay my student loans went into federal default i have called the company that has my account and set up a $5 arrangement with them. Now I’m just wondering if i can call the DOE and have them removed the offset now that I’m in the program?? anyone have any idea?? I’m trying to file my 2017 taxes and i don’t want them to take Them as while. Do anybody have any ideas if they will remove the offset please let me know!!!!!

I still have not gotten anything. WMR said sent to direct deposit on 2-27-2019 but, it wasn’t deposited. I don’t believe I have any offsets. I don’t pay child support, don’t have back taxes, etc. This stupid STPG website just haz a generic message that we should get it today. This is all so frustrating! Also, I did have the fees taken from my refund and used Turbotax.

They took my federal for DOE. My state tax I guess I owe 180 for a parking ticket when I sold my car someone else got one in my name. Anyway I am still waiting on the rest of my refund and it should Go directly through after my offset is taken out and I am still waiting. Wonder how long it takes to recieve refund after offset goes through. Still missing $2,300!

Hey first time poster filed 1-29 accepted 1-29 ddd2-22 it says refund sent got a letter for my state saying they need more info for the EITC then another letter saying it was intercepted by avc a college but no letters from my federal any idea what’s going on btw I have chase they don’t hold deposits so they never sent it I know this is the ddd 2 27 but I only got one response

@Jake yes you need to file irs form 8379 which is a spouse injury form stating that the debt wasn’t yours. Takes a while but you can still get your portion back

For everyone who had their refund taken, when you call the offset line make sure you are checking options 1 and 2, the offset line changed this year.
Press 1 for English, 1 for Offset, and 2 for Personal (Consumer) Debt
But also check 1 for that last option. People have been checking 1 instead of 2 this year, and why you may not be hearing your Offset info. -

Wmr updated saying they took my entire refund. Still doesnt explain why i was supposed to be offset lastyear and ended up getting my entire refund!? No one has an answer either. Just went on wmr and it says they took my whole refund. I don’t owe anything and when I called the offset number it says there’s no offset for my ss. Wtf? I filed joint with my wife and she’s been paying her student loans, would they take it?? What can I do? We need to pay for our sons epilepsy meds, I’m on leave without pay from work bc she just had a miscarriage that left her bed ridden. Can I even get the money back?!

My friends that filed before me received their refund on 2/27 BUT they didn’t had their filing fees deducted from their refund.

I was on a forbearance program have been since 2017 i just don’t understand they took my entire refund didn’t even leave me a quarter nickel dime or penny smh…!!! Well DOE took my entire refund smh.. I needed that $ in the worst way. But hopefully ya’ll will get yours, but I did file an IRS form 911 to maybe get some of the funds back good luck and God bless ya’ll

I checked WMR today and it updated that I am getting nothing back. DOE took it all! I was in the student load rehabilitation program making payments monthly. How can they just randomly send it to a collection agency?!

That offset number doesn’t tell you every little thing you owe. It kept saying I only have one offset due to DOE ok so I still haven’t received my state refund and that offset number never said anything about me owing a SO I called the franchise tax board an she explained why my state was still processing because there is a pending offset for a unpaid TICKET that someone else got in my name. So just know if your still waiting on your money and you say you dont have any offsets I would check again with both the federal and the franchise tax board. So my question is…if you have a offset but are still supposed to get the rest of your refund…will it still come March 4th or will they take what you owe and then cut and mail you a check? I’ve never had offsets because so I have no clue how it works

Did you ever figure out if your getting your state refund? I found out about mine…she says iT is still processing and I have up to the 14th. She saod she did see one pending offset but it was not my student loan…she says it’s from LA parking so I called LA parking and they are taking 182 for a unpaid ticket…well I sold my car last year and didn’T put in a release of liability right away so they got a ticket and it went into my name. No biggie once they process my state refund of $2,857… $182 will be taken out of it I just show them proof I had gotten the car out of my namw am it’s fixed As far as my federal…yes the DOE took the full amount of 2,857 I spoke with the collection agency who has my student loan…set up the $5 paymemt plan for low income and she says my tax refund hasn’t been applied yet not can she see it BUT IT TAKES 3-4 WEEKS TO SHOW UP on their end. So no need to worry…your refund was applied to your loan it will just take awhile to show up. I have to make 6 month consecutive payments to get myself out of default so they dont take my money again next year. My loan was originally 11,000 and ots now 16,236 take away my federal refund $2857 and that’s what I owe left…I’ll be paying on it for at least 4-5 years!!!! I should have chose a diff career path because I dont even work as a dental assistant and that’s what I went to school for smh

I just checked sbtpg and it no longer states that refund is sent to my fifth third bank prepaid card, now it states that a check was mailed 03/01/2019. Not sure what the problem was that it was sent back but happy to know it’ll be here soon. No offsets. Filed 1/28/2019, all child credits -

Everybody situation is different, but just came from H&R Block. I told her my info is still saying processing, and I have no pending deposit she said let see. She pulled it up on her computer, and it said accepted, approved, sent direct deposit on 27. She said it will be available Monday the 4. So just relax everyone. In Houston, Tx.

I feel bad for the ones that took out the emerald advance and couldn’t pay for that by next year the interest will be 3-4k and they will just lose their refund again. Just dont go to hr block anymore and you wont have to worry about it. My buddy did that one year he owed them for 500$ advance and then prep fees of 400$ and now its in the neighborhood of 3K with fees and interest sohe just don’t go to HR block anymore and they cant do anything about it. So just a forewarning if you did get the emerald advance and were unable to pay just dont go back to the HR block.

Yeah everybody is calling now soo it’s hard to get some one on the phone I called Tuesday and found out all my info I even set up payment plans which is $5 a month !!! Being that I didn’t make much last Year with being sick and my kid getting sick it still says I owe 11,000 even though they took 5,879 from me I’m suppose to receive papers in the mail from the collection agency … ooo I forgot If I told y’all that the woman I spoke to said that they call you to collect a debt they don’t send out letters smfh bullshiit I guess this is a lesson learn for all of us that if we know we have loans and haven’t paid them to do our research I seen it can take 3-4 weeks for the payment to post if it’s tax funds but like we said when March 4th comes we should see something hopefully I really want documentations saying that’s where my money went cause at first I thought it was a scam honestly

Calling all over creation isn’t going to help. We’ve all lost our refunds. We can’t get them back. They’re gone. No amount of phone calls will bring them back. The best we can hope for at this point is that we at least get our state refunds. If you want to check the status of your state refund, you can call or go to the website of your state’s revenue department.

I just spoke with the irs and they told me my taxes has been collected for a debt so i will not be receiving my taxes this year which sucks cause they held my taxes last year for no reason and they just took them this year because of debt. I’m so sick right now cause i was needing that for a new car cause i totaled mines a few months ago but now I’m in a messed up bind and don’t have no idea what to do..

On my credit karma, i have 7 out of 8 agencies in good standings but the last agency says i owe 637$ in which my taxes were sent to my bank on 2/27/19 also and still haven’t received them? What’s wrong cause I’m 100% sure that the offset came from them? Just waiting on refund now?

@danielle d it just tells me it’s under contract with a collection ageny and it gives the national recovery services inc name, number and transferred me over to them. I’m still on hold with them I’m upset cause i lost my step cause i had a incoming call now i have to start all over. But when i check my credit my student loan had been closed out a while ago..

Call that number and it will tell you to punch in social and what not…then there is a option to push for balance and last payment received. But call them after you get off the phone…I dont want u to loose your place. Im on hold for 18 min with my student loan I’ll let you know what they say. Also what is weird…last month when I was speaking with a guy to set up a payment plan… He called me from a totally different number and have me his extension. So after I talk with the franchise tax board about my state refund and the DOE then I’m going to give him a call and see what he says. I’m not sure why my loan is being bounced around different collection agencies -

The IRS man also said the government is waaaaay backed up and that could be the reason why the DOE hasn’t seen a reflected payment yet. I bet come March 4th it will then show our refund is apllied to our DOE but as of now I don’t think it’s going to because they’re behind. Anytime you have a offset it takes awhile to show up. This really sucks

Ok I called the Bureau of Fiscal Services they have no info for me they directed me back to the Tax Offset # . they said the DOE took the entire refund but when I call them they sent me once again to FH Cann and they have no record of a tax offset being applied to my student loans. So no one on the planet seems to know where my effin $ is..

Wow so I spoke with the IRS. I asked the man of my federal tax was taken for TT 203 DOE then why doesn’t the DOE have record of my payment and he said that was weird and the only thing I can do is call the DOE like wthhhh. So now I am waiting for a call back from the franchise tax board to see if they took my state taxes as well… When I punched in my social…address…zip code and refund amount It came back and said we dont have any record of state refund so I think the DOE took both my federal and state :( waiting for FTB to call me back. Gping to call the DOE now. Who is everyone a loan with now? Mine says BASS&ASSOCIATES never heard of them.

I called them they said my debt was sent to FH Cann. I called them and they have no record of my taxes being applied to my account and they have no pending payments either. They also told me my file had nothing indicating a tax offset being applied.!!!! I have no idea where my refund is and it seems no one else does either.

Still no direct deposit. I’m pretty sure this whole in transit thing is an excuse to make a little interest off everyone’s money as it is passing thru. Im sure these banks have got the fine print honed by now. ACH direct deposits from the IRS aren’t supposed to be in limbo for more than 24 hours. How can I go to dollar general and give her 24 bucks and ten minutes later Its on the card but it takes literally days and weeks to “process” and “release” funds “in transit”

Hello all DDD 2-27-2019 I received my state which was very odd that usually comes way later called IRS # 1-844-545-5640 to set up an appt they will look into it for you… Was told there was an offset and to call The bureau of fiscal service. The auto service says I have no offset. Did a repeat call to IRS they say it’s out of their hands and call back to the bofs to speak with a person been on hold for over 30mins phone dies… Took a very early morning shot and now I’m here… I hate the IRS I never got a notice it’s so unfair

Okay. So sadly, I called the Bureau of Fiscal Services, who are the department at the IRS who handle offsets. They confirmed my refund was offset for the entire amount. If you want to call for yourself, their phone number is tel:1-855-868-0151.
So disappointed. Yet, at the same time, it is not a surprise. Please call them if you are wondering.

Yeah I paid $81 in fees for turbo tax but I asked for it to be taking out of my federal refund -
I get the same message, too, when I log into SBT. But I don’t think I paid any fees when I filed. I used TT free edition. So it wouldn’t go through them. If you paid no filing fees then the refund comes directly from the IRS. So it wouldn’t show up on that website.

The reason why SBTPG shows your federal refund is because because you typed in the amount when you logged in.

I don’t honestly know. I am in the same boat. Except, I was never able to get through to the IRS when I have called, due to extremely high call volumes. But if you spoke with someone and they told you your refund was sent to Green Dot, then that’s a good sign.
If you paid fees and filed through, say, Turbo Tax, then it’ll go through there first, before coming to you.

Do you know if you have a offset if it will be sent here first or directly to the DOE? I talked to the IRS today and they said mine went to Green Dot bank which is the same as Santa Barbara. The weird thing is is the last four of the acct number is the same as my social. But I have a 203 code so idk if I’m getting mine or not.

Check that site. When that message pops up click the x and then check your info there just like you would do on the WMR website. I just checked mine and it says TPG is a 3rd party bank like green dot. Check to see if they received your money. A message pops up for me Saying TPG hasn’t received anything but down at the bottom it shoes TPG and my federal amount of $2,857 so now I’m really confused lol I think when Monday comes everything will be fixed. And yes girl so weird we both were sick with same thing. TMI but I had leftover placenta inside me after birth and it caused my body to go into septic shock. I am glad you are ok now :)

SBTPG is Santa Barbara Tax Processing Group. If you paid a fee to file your taxes, the refund processed through them before being sent to your bank. Usually Turbo Tax and a couple of others use this group to process refunds. If you used Turbo Tac to file and paid fees, for example, the refund will go to SBTPG first. They take the filing fee and TT fee and send you the remainder.

Sorry to hear that. Last year after giving birth I got sepsis and was in the ICU so I got behind on my car towards the end of the year so really need to get caught up on that. We still have faith that we can get back our state. It was a federal loan I took out so I am hoping they just took that. Even like you mention when u had called the offset number it read off only your federal amount an didn’t mention the whole refund like me so crossing fingers. Monday come NOW lol

There are many members here having the same issues, with different preparers and banks.
Im sure its just the IRS being slow at actually releasing the funds.
Many users have received their refunds with no WMR DDD. So that proves they are having some technical difficulties this year.
If you do no get yours by the date it says to call, then call them, Odds are you will have it by the weekend.

Don’t always go by the WMR site. Call the offset number and double check from there to see if you owe anything. Make sure you check option 1 for federal and option 2 for any debt you have occurred on your own.

Make sure you check both options when you call the offset line….also if it is federal tax owed from previous year, it won’t be on the offset line.

I find that very strange yoir bank couldn’t even locate your other two direct deposits that you say come in every Friday? What’s up with that? That should make us feel a little better right? Lol it’s 2:46 am and still nothing. Well, my federal says it was approved and sent to my bank on 2/27. I called the offset number several times and they say no offset. I’ve not received any kind of letter. The bank for turbo tax is saying they have no record. So I guess I should start with calling the IRS this morning I’m not sure what is happening! If there was an offset it should tell me right? Or I should have gotten some kind of letter? But nothing .. All prior years my refund has went in when it’s suppses To so I’m confused on what is happening ??

I call the number and it said I’m offset my full tax refund amount…. WTF how is this possible. As for state refunds, from my knowledge, sometimes the feds can take a state refund and sometimes they don’t. I think it depends on the kind of debt. I personally experienced this some years ago for something. They snagged my federal, but I still got the state refund. For some people who owe federal debts, they didn’t get a federal refund, but got the state. Some people I have read on this forum lost both.
My state is taking forever to process refunds. My return was accepted 1/17, started processing on 2/1, and I still don’t have an updated status on my state refund. I called them twice and the best they could tell me is that it is processing.
A lot of people have complained how long it is taking to get their state refunds. Unusually long.

I have a Direct deposit date of 02/27.
I logged into my account on the morning of 02/27 and my tax refund was there in full. Then when I checked later that same day, the funds had vanished along with any mention of the morning deposit, what was replaced was a “DEPT REVENUE” for 0.00.
I would assume if it was fraud and my money was stolen there would be a record of the deposit plus a record of the withdrawal/purchases. No such records.
The best I can guess is that the full refund was sent to my bank account from the IRS, then the fees for my tax filing with hrblock needed to be taken out, then the remaining refund deposited back into my account.
It is the end of 02/28 and no funds in my account.
When checking with SBTGP (not sure hrblock uses them for their fees), they do not have a record of my information or my wife’s.
Kinda stressing out here, calling my bank now.

My state also says my refund is “processing.” It has been saying that for the last three weeks without an update. I have called and all they have said on the phone is that it is still processing and no other information.
About the offset, I am in the same exact position as you.
I called my bank this evening. I got little information. They checked on incoming deposits and said I have one, which is my paycheck. I am expecting two other deposits in my account tomorrow that are not refunds, and I am wondering why she didn’t see those. They come in every other Friday consistently. So, if she didn’t see those deposits, this still doesn’t tell me if i’ll receive my refund. The other deposits were not in the system, and apparently a possible refund wasn’t either.

Your issue has been the debate all day on this forum. For us with TT 203, we’re all wondering the same thing. All we have gotten were inconsistent reports from various people. Some with TT203, and who are also listed on the offset program have actually received their full refunds. Others have not. One person’s case may have a different result than another person’s. We’ve all been waiting for some answers, some news, something. It’s confusing, and I think we all can agree that a “sent to bank” status with TT 203 is very misleading of our refunds actually go to pay a debt.

Ffs Guys.. stop saying your refund went to the damn wall. 🙄 your refund repaid a debt that YOU created for yourself. I’m in the same boat as everyone else although it was my husbands student loan that caused the offset. And for everyone asking, YES, they CAN take your state refund as well. If the debt wasn’t yours but a spouses, file IRS form 8379 to see if you can still get your portion. Otherwise, better luck next year…

They told my friend Lester Houchens that its going to take 3-5 days for the applied payment to show up Just because they said it is not showing does not mean anything. It has to pass through several departments before it will be credited as payment received. Those collection agencies are sadistic and they will lie.

Yeah it’s all crazy as hell when I called the amount that said was only my federal and it says U.S. Department of Education is the debt collector I even set up payment plan so they won’t touch my pay checks or next years tax return it’s like Dow has nothing to do with it once it’s offset when I called doe three days ago the automated recording was like your is with a debt agency and it gave me a number to call I’m with you though we will find out on the 4th if it has been applied to our debt

Ya that was me that said my balance was down then back up. It tripped me out. Last month it was 16,000 checked it coupler days ago after I found put about my offset of 2857 and it said my balance was 13,000 something. Now yesterday it went back up to 16,000 like Wtf. I’m getting worried because everyone who had the DOE offset and got their refund taken…they call the collection agency and the agency says they haven’t gotten a payment. Filed with TT but had funds dd on my emerald card. DDD was 2/27, call the offset # they sent me to the DOE collection agency FH Cann. I called them yesterday and they said nothing was put on my account.
I checked WMR this morning and now the site says refund sent and hotline said it was sent to my account. I called emerald card and nothing is there.
On my WMR it has the same amount it always has. I have no clue where the money is!!!!

I am thinking they just got my federal because when I call the offset number it says I have a offset in the amount of my federal loan. It didn’t say anything about my state amount So crossing my fingers they didn’t touch my state. Ok I have a big #netspend update I was missing my dd 2-27 so i checked the account number on turbo tax that it was sent to. Netspend sent a new card to activate,. so account number changed. money got sent to old account number. that was closed. you can transfer to new account if you have netspend call specifically about that account number on your tax file

Refund received – 2/27I had TT 203, it was from the State of Illinois saying that they overpaid my husband unemployment, I ended up getting less than half of my refund. That is another story in itself, the point is, unless they are taking your entire refund, the remainder should not be delayed going into your account. My bank actually received the deposit notice on 2/22. If you have TT 203, call the offset line 866-297-0517 choose option 1 first for non IRS Government Debt, go through everything, then go back to the main menu and choose option 2 for consumer Debt. Our offset to Illinois was listed under option 2. It will tell you an amount and give you contact information for the agency offsetting your taxes. Hope this helps.

It seems that a lot of people who have the 203 TT, are already on payment plans, or making payments of some sort. Maybe i’m wrong, but I thought they couldn’t collect on debts where you’re in a payment plan?
That’s the situation with me. I’m not on a payment plan. But I have an pending appeal. They are not supposed to collect on that, either. So why are they offsetting??
I had the same debt last year, a different appeal pending and I received my full refund. I didn’t have to go through all this TT 203 nonsense.
Further, a lot of people, more than usual seem to have this TT 203 and on the TOP system.
I wonder why everyone is getting hit with offsets, especially those who are not supposed to be. Maybe they’re cracking down on debts.

I used a tax preparer this year (“Tax Experts”), Long story short WMR says refund sent 2/27, SBTPG says states rec’d 2/14 BUT NOTHING for my federal. NO OFFSETS and no freaking money!! HELP! Please! ANYONE!!?????

I called a tax advocate, which I found on irs.gov. She told me that since I have EITC and dependents, I could be looking at late April or early May before I get my federal return. She instructed me to print off a 911 form and a page explaining why the delay is causing me a hardship. She said that this MIGHT help speed up the process but there is no guarantee. The reason they are being held is to verify wage and income with the Soc Sec office and will for sure take up to 2 months for the refund to hit your bank. So disappointing and frustrating but I hope this help someone. CALL AN ADVOCATE NOW

I have offset code 203 WMR website says my refund was sent, checked my bank and nothing. People have commented previously in this thread stating their refund status said sent but the IRS did in fact take their whole refund. So yes it is possible to say sent and you end up not getting it. Sent probably means ya it got sent but then it got taken because you owe the government money

I think our biggest question is if you have an offset can the irs site or app say your money has been sent to your bank and it really hasn’t ? I think that’s what us 203 coders would like to know but when you call the collection agency they have to record and I hope all that still owes money signed up for monthly payments !!

That’s what I thought too! I had an outstanding amount due to the irs 10+ years ago and had it taken out of my refund 5 years later. And it was paid off. But I figured it’s only been a year and half since I left school I would still get my refund this year. I’m trying to stay positive. I saw a post earlier that if someone had a TT 203 still will receive their refund but might own back next year. But their situation might be different. -

Technically the IRS WMR site does say if we don’t receive it by MARCH 4TH then I think that’s all when we should panic. A lot of people’s refund are saying it was sent to the bank but they have NOTHING. I think the banks are backed up so it will take time to process. I would give It till March 4th like WMR says Then start panicking after that if you still haven’t received it but until then I’m going to chill out lol

But I know I’ve seen ppl say they haven’t paid there student loans in 5-7 years and had it finally taken out this year. I’m wmr is saying sent as of last night but I still have nothing in my account. I understand you called the offset number. But have you called the DOE number to see if your student loan payment went down? That way you are able to tell if your 6k was applied to it or not? The question is, however, for everyone saying that the bars were complete, but their refund was take , what was your DDD? If it was 2/27, it may still come. As I previously posted, the IRS was sending refunds very late into the night. I’m not sure if it means much or not. I think if you have TT 203 and WMR says sent. I dont think it means sent to your bank I feel like it means ya it got sent….but sent directly to DOE. Lets pray that’s not the case. If you scroll down and read everyone commenting has already checked their offsets. I do owe to the DOE but when I called the offset hotline it said I have 1 offset in the amount of 2,857. Well that amount is ONLY MY FEDERAL REFUND. I still get a state refund in the amount of $2,420 and the offset never said anything about owing that amount. So I am thinking they took my federal income and I am going to get my state. Otherwise why didn’t the offset say the entire amount together it only said they took my federal amount

Hello I had a ddd if 2/27/19 according to the irs site I had a tax code 203 for student loans . I called the collection agency was told your account goes in default when you don’t pay . They only had my account for 5 months that got it last sept. I’m confused because people haven’t paid in years !! And now just getting their taxes taken I been out of school since 2017 . It’s not fair according to the collection agency you can stop it for next year . I also was told they tried calling me but they had a old number and that they don’t send out letters that’s not fair to us yes it’s our fault that we didn’t pay out loans the way we should have . Also about two weeks prior I received a letter for wage garnishment . Anyways refund says it has been sent to the bank nothing on my turbo tax card .

I just want everyone on here still waiting for their refund to know that they need to check the offset hotline to see if they have anything they owe for. I had a DDD of 2/27 and when I checked this morning after not receiving funds yesterday it said that they were deposited into MY bank yesterday. I called my bank (Axos bank with emerald) and they said there was nothing on their end. I called the offset hotline and they took $6,000 for student loans. That also included my state. I am not trying to make anyone worry, I just want you to make sure because I was on this website for the past couple days trying to stay hopeful and found out I will not receive anything. So me and my husband did our taxes with h and r block. WMR says it was sent DDD 2/27. I called H&R this morning and they said my refund was received but since we didn’t pay for their service at the time our refund was sent to a temporary bank so they can get what we owe them and the rest would be deposited into our bank account which might take 3-5 days. I have never had this happen before an we weren’t told by H&R that this would happen. It’s insane and as of 10:30am I’m still waiting to see if it is deposited into our account. Philadelphia here

No letter about the offset was received. I noticed the offset when I checked wheres my refund page then it was moved to approved but with a Tax Topic 203. Says everyone will receive a notice in the mail about the offset in a couple of weeks. Is your offset for a student loan?

SBTG will only have your refund if you paid fees. If you do not ha e fees, it comes directly from the IRS. Things are held up and behind. We’re all waiting, too. Supposedly, refunds were still being sent very late last night. It may just take a day or two for the bank to process the refund before releasing the funds. The IRS is also all backed up and not getting things done like they have in previous years. Check tomorrow, or later today to see if it’s there.

Okay everyone, here’s the scoop. I just called the IRS. I waited about 1/2 hour and finally got to talk to an agent who transferred my call customer service. Unfortunately, I got a recording that said, “due to extremely high call volumes on the topic you’re requesting, we are unable to take your call. Please call back later.” Grrrrr! 😕 So, I basically got nowhere. Even getting through to a human at the IRS who can give us some answers may not be possible. Everyone is calling.
The only option, it seems, it just to wait and see what happens. Maybe someone will come through and provide answers.

We’re angry because of the confusion, not the fact that we expect money. We have heard conflicting reports all along and it really is mass confusion, especially since some people who had TT 203 and were told by TOP that their refund had been taken. Yet, they received it anyway. Some have not. Some people received nothing and their refunds were taken.
What I would like to know, is for the people who actually had an offset, if all three bars were on wmr.
Mine happens to not be a DOE debt. It’s for a different agency. But I’m in the same situation with a refund as all the others.

The ONLY reason any of us with TT 203 are wondering if we are getting a refund is bc we have heard from multiple people on this thread or from people they know about those who had the TT 203 and still got their refund. There’s only anger bc of the confusion of that fact, were that not the case then this thread would be different in the way people comment or respond

Why are people expecting to get money when they know they owe the DOE? Be glad you are getting a chunk of your debt paid off.
You chose to go to school/take the loans – you have to pay them back. I don’t understand the anger about it – but I can see the confusion!
I certainly agree that it should be stated better on these sights (and I’d say by your tax preparer, or the software you used) that you won’t be getting any/some of it, if you have these debts. -
There is a refund hotline # 1(800)829-1954. I may try to call that and see what they say.

Call 1800-621-3115. for DOE balance and last payment received. Maybe check and see if your payment went down? Mine went down 3 days ago and now the balance is right back up and everyone i try an call it says they are experiencing high call volume so I rather just wait before I open a window by speaking with DOE

EXACTLY @Im1278 I am thinking “refund sent” means sent straight to your DOE not bank account for those with TT 203. The line for DOE said it does take a couple business days for the payment to reflect on their end so that may be the case when people are calling their DOE and no payment was applied to your account…I just think it takes days to show up on their end. Everyone with TT 203 let’s just pray SENT means sent to our bank and not the DOE that would be very misleading. But that offset number that I called did tell me how much my refund is being offset for my student loan and its my whole federal amount. I think they got my federal but not my state. We will all see cross fingers

I tried to call the IRS at 7:30 am est. All I got was a recording saying, “our office isn’t open.” Yet, their hours start at 7am. If anyone calls, please let us know what they say. I have to go to work, so I can’t call from there.

Well, I have read the same thing on these forums, that some people with TT 203 did in fact, receive their full refund. Others have not, at least yet. I wish the IRS could just be straight with us and specify whether or not our refunds went for offsets, rather than stating, “sent to bank.” I have also read that some people with offsets didn’t get all three bars on wmr. TT 203 on wmr says there may be an offset. But rather than saying “sent” when it updates, it should tell us whether or not the refund was sent for an offset. It would save a lot of aggravation!
Someone on this forum said last night that the IRS was still sending refunds dated for 2/27 up to 2am this morning. So if we are getting any money we may not see it until tomorrow, depending on the bank.
We just have to wait, I guess. Definitely if you don’t see it in your account or on your card tomorrow, then contact the agency you have the debt with. They’ll be able to tell you if there was an offset.
With me, it’s even more frustrating. I know exactly what my debt is and have been fighting with these people for over a year. Finally they were able to tell me that my appeal is pending. I know that if an appeal is pending they cannot collect on the debt until a decision has been made. Yet, I am being told by TOP that my refund was offset. So, I will be getting a tax advocate of my refund was seized.

has anybody had a chance to call the IRS today and see what’s going on? yesterday, some of the people on here called and they were told it’d be late last night or early this morning but seems there’s still some delays going on and it seems to be with people who have a tt 203 and those who don’t, which makes it even more confusing bc those who dont owe anything should’ve at least got their already. just been weird when a mixture of those with TT 203 and those without got their taxes yesterday or the day before. there’s nothing, no pattern, to help the rest of us know if we are getting our refund. called again this morning and the collection agency hasnt seen where my refund was credited to them

Weird though because theres others on this forum who had TT 203 and says they still received their full refund but then there’s people like us who have same TT 203 refund Says sent and nothing. I’ll be patient and wait till the end of today and if nothing I’ll call IRS tomorrow to find out for sure my DOE was taken if so then I’m calling DOE that’s some bullshit

Wmr is now saying sent and the full amount is still there but so is the tt 203 . I used turbo tax to file but used dd on my emerald card . Nothing on my card yet though. I called the offset yesterday and then called doe then they had me call fh cann but they didn’t show any $ put on my account so I’m hoping it’ll hit my card at some point today but I thought all dd went on emerald cards at 6am…. let’s stay positive people everyone is in my prayers

Call this number is the DOE. Make sure you press option 2 after she checks your social and birth date that way she can ready off your balance and see if anything was applied. I just trips me out how a cpuple days ago my balance went down to 13,000 and now its back up to 16,000 and my WMR says refund sent. I haven’t received my federal or state taxes yet. My sister is in Washington. They only get a federal income she has no offsets her turbo tax has been saying sent gor two days now and she has yet to receive her refund and she has no offsets. She bank with bank of America and I have CHASE. 5:15 am here and nothing. I don’t want to speak to anyone about my loan just in case they didn’t take anything I don’t want to give them an option to do so since I’m calling in lol

Im1278 that’s really what i been wondering or waiting to see, if someone who had TT 203 still got their refund. I see a lot of people are calling the debt collectors and even they havent received anything. At this point, i just wish i knew if holding on to hope is necessary bc it seems that no matter who you call, they dont have any answers.
I will say this, i have seen where they can take state refunds to pay for any offset amounts which is even more confusing bc i have already received my state, had no problem with it so i guess i wonder why they wouldn’t have taken that too if they are gonna take my federal. trying to stay positive but it’s getting harder and harder too

Yes exactly same here. When I check my state refund it’s still stuck on processing. But this is What is super weird…I was on the phone with DOE last month and the guy said my loan had a balance of 16,000 some thing well when I checked another number for my student loan itbhad my type in my social and it read off my balance which was now at 13,000 some thing so I assumed they had taken my federal refund. Well yesterday i called that same number and now my balance is back up to $16,234 so I have nooo clue what happened. I can give you that number if you like it different from the offset number you punch in your social and date of birth and the automated system will read off your loan and tell you your balance and who its with. Mine was originally with great lakes…then went to DOE and now yesterday it says that BASS Associates now has it

Yes, I have called the offset number twice. Both times it has said that my refund for $4942.00 has gone to pay for the debt. However, I called the agency who I owe the debt to, two days ago, and they looked it up and said that they couldn’t see that my refund had been sent to TOP, this is why it’s confusing.
I am wondering as well if they also take state refunds. I have asked about this a couple of times on the state forum and received no answer. I think for some debts they can take the state refund as well, but I am not sure if that applies to all federal debts. My state refund (Massachusetts) has taken forever to “process” and has said that since a month ago, with no update. So I don’t know.
Can’t seem to get questions answered and it leaves people still wondering.

Have you called the offset number? When I did it said I have 1 offset in the amount of $2,857 for DOE and that 2,857 was the amount of my federal loan so I’m hoping they didn’t touch my state but WMR days sent deposit…ya does that mean sent deposit then DOE took it?

I have the exact same questions. My TT 203 isn’t for a DOE debt, but for another federal debt. Mine also had all three bars with status as “sent to bank.” If we had our refunds offset, it would be terribly misleading from WMR. The full amount of my refund was also shown with no deductions. Can’t there be just one person, at least, to answer our questions? We’re waiting, too. It’s very confusing and frustrating because we don’t know if we’re going to get our money.
I know that often money from direct deposit won’t be credited to your bank account immediately. Sometimes it can take a day or two. The bank has to process deposits.
Regardless, pray for good news! It know it’s tough, guys.

Woke up to WMR bar on sent. Checked bank and nothing. Have TT 203. WHAT TIME DID EVERYONE’S DD GO THROUGH? Its 4:30 AM here in Cali right now so thinking I shoukd wait till 8am to check it? all three of my bars are full, it says refund was sent late last night but still dont see anything. i have a turbo tax card, is there a certain time they deposit? also, i had a TT 203 on my wmr but it didnt show a reduced amount or that anything had been taken. does that mean i may actually get my refund? i’ve seen where other people, who got an offset, had it show up on their WMR, that’s why i was wondering

Great news! I just got my refund!!!!!! Even with 1 account number missing on my direct deposit information Wells Fargo still accepted it!!!!!!!!!!! My name and social matched up with the Irs so they accept the money! I’m so happy!!!!!

The offset number is 800-304-3107 and push option 2. It will tell you how much your offset is. I know you can claim hardship if the DOE took your refund but that is only if you are currently going through an eviction….so dumb! I am going to wait till I see exactly how much they took from me then I will give them a call this week to try an get some money back. I’m still waiting on refund so not sure if they took both my federal and my state

Once you call the offset number 1-800-304-3107, you have to choose option 2 for it to tell you the amount your refund was offset. Option 1 will not tell you.

I do have the offset code. I still have yet to recieve my refund but I am wondering since Its a federal student loan will they take my state refund tax as well? When I called the number to check any pending offsets it says I have 1 from the DOE in the amount of $2,857 and that was the amount of just my federal. I am still waiting to here from my state for $2,2420 so I’m just wondering can they take my state too? My bar on the IRS website now says refund sent and I dont have anything. 2/27/19 9:45 on I really am hoping they were only able to touch my federal. Why after 7 years of not paying on my student loan did they just now decide to take my refund this has never happened!

So I have read all the comments and it’s pretty safe to say that I won’t be getting mine.

Well it’s 1155 and still nothing!! Even the where’s my refund site still doesn’t say that the deposit was sent.. I’m so confused… no offset or anything like that. Im not joking i really needed that money. I have nothing but this obama phone(thats what they call it) a lady gave me from the shelter since she had 3 phones anyway is the only thing i have. Also I am a woman not a man for people thinking that. I would never joke about suicide (NEVER)like that i got raped twice in the homeless shelter im so scared to go back because the last raping he choked me so bad and face busted and private was ripped and before that the last guy did similar but kept stabbing me with a needle 82 times from head to toe both times i thought i was going to die i tried to committ suicide then(almost 3 weeks ago..both 4 days apart from eachother) because i figured God really hated me at that point but i figure i wait for a turn around with this money and so i was able to get temp. Housing but i needed that money by friday to pay the rent so i wouldn’t go to another shelter or worse the streets. I have no food to eat also i havent ate in a long time but today i did find a hotdog from the downtown trash bins. I didnt want to go back homeless because of the rapings. I know i shouldnt have said anything but i have no one else literally no one. I just wanted someone to at least hear me one last time. I took 2 bottles of random pills and starting on my third i tried to get help before but like i said i have no one and nothing. I dont care if you are saying mean things to me call me any names ive heard before but for the nice people i really appreciate u whole heartedly. Will not post anymore im throwing phone in the river. Too all my fellow friends I know that this is a stressful situation waiting on a deposit however with some comfort I know that the IRS would tell you to wait till 3/04 and then check with your bank to make sure that they received It! I would do a couple of things to check 1) check the offset line 2) check your return and make sure that you have the correct account and routing numbers on your return. If those two things check out than you will receive your money. I know it is easier said than done because whatever the situation may be you are counting on that money for whatever the reason is. I am sending out positive vibes and prayers for everyone that hasn’t received there money yet. Keep the faith and by all means if you have any questions please feel free to ask.

@tee I’m not downplaying or doubting the fact that you may have needed the money but this post is completely ridiculous. Why would you tell all of us that you were going to kill yourself tonight over some money. A temporary situation living homeless is always better than dying. If your refund was taken I find it hard to believe that it’s an absolute surprise. Do you have to have an inkling that you owed someone quite a bit of money so this would be a possibility. I hope you get some help.

It’s 930 pm and still have no received anything on emerald card. When I call the card it says my refund will be deposited today and it’s said that all day long, and still nothing. @joesph brown happened last year to m with a ddd of 2-22. There is a form to file called injured spouse. I amnded my return and recieved my portion of tax return by mid april.

@Randy they took my whole refund to for similar reasons. The irs have been taking my state taxes for the last few years including this year. For student loans . But when it came to my wife’s student loans an filing joint like my tax preparer said I had to do they took all my money . The richest country in the world an we can’t get a break. @randy Hey! So I was in the same boat as you last year. My husband has all the income but my student loans are in default. And they took our whole refund. BUT great news! All you guys have to do is file the Injured Spouse Form.. which is form 8379. And your wife will at least get her portion back! It’ll take at least 8-14weeks according to the IRS but in our experience we got ours back within 6 weeks! Good luck!
And btw I still haven’t received my refund 😩. On my transcript the 846 code is one there with DDD 2/27 and nothing else that I see. We also have the emerald card so just hopeful it hits by tomorrow!

I didn’t want to file with my wife because of my student loans but h&r block insisted that I had to and that we needed to do a form that in case student loans took my taxes her portion wouldn’t be taken so we did that because they are the professionals they know right… Wrong I was suppose to get taxes back today and we didn’t have anything yet so I call offset number and guess what poof 8k gone no refund they took my wife’s part as well smfh. Well if its child support than there is no hope at all that money is as good as gone people act surprised when they are 8k behind in child support but my dad was a deadbeat and never paid a cent of child support the kids deserve the money more than the guys that are just going to blow it on dope and lottery tickets and booze. Pay your child support or keep your snake in yo pants daddy-o. If it was for unemployment than thats money you owe the state and they will take it without question they don’t care if you are homeless. The department of education is willing to work with individuals in need. I don’t know about hospital bills i know they will offset for owed hospital, ambulance rides, defaulted government loans like fha and fannie mae and such. Those you will not be able to get back.

So apparently IRS has sent anybody who has a DDD 02/27….its Turbotax H&R BLOCK whoever you filed with that has had the refund all day they are processing it. So give it to midnight or when you wake up for all mobile bank users or prepaid card users. I havent given up on us.

Yeah it can take up to 8 weeks but most cases if it is rejected by bank you will see your money within a month.

Why is a hardship only available for student loan offset and not other government debts? That isn’t fair. So, if one has a debt that is not a student loan and had their refund offset, they have no options for getting it back? Many people who have government debts are low income and that’s why they can’t pay them. But they have to lose their refund and no options exist for a hardship, it seems.
Regardless, those of us still waiting, let’s hope for the best.

If you had fees taken out through sbtpg it’ll get sent back to them and then you’ll get a check within 2 weeks! I know mine getting rejected so I’m just waiting for them to see it was rejected. They got my funds yesterday and the rep told me they try to deposit it for 2 days, then it takes up to another 2 days for them to see it was rejected. 5-10 days later you’ll see your check in the mail and you can track it on their site. If you didn’t have fees taken out then I hope you get good news from someone or see your DD today 😊 -
@noblemama You don’t have to rude about it. People are anxious and worried. This money is greatly needed for a whole lot of families and im sure a lot of plans were made as well. Im used to waking up to my funds in my bank so when that didnt happen i, like a lot of people, immediately became alarmed.
What is not needed in this time is your unnecessary negativity adding to this stressful situation. Accidentally missed ONE digit in my account number. Direct deposit was supposed to go out today, still nothing. Ive called IRS and they stated if the bank rejects it I will have to wait up to 5 weeks for a check :( has anyone ever missed a number or know anyone who has and it was still deposited? I know my name will match up with the account holder name and my social. Bank with wells Fargo, called them they were literally no help.

Uncle slam yes it was for student loans, I received no notice or anything. I called the treasury and they said it was offset this morning when my dd was suppose to hit. I see some people say they still get their refund even with a offset don’t think that will be my case. Going to file a hardship and see what happens

my husband got a letter in dec about his student loans and he filled it out sent that back in and he got another one. They just did a week ago started taking 15% out if his payday a week ago and im scared they are going to do an offset on us. But all of this just started the end of december i do not see how they can take it all now when he is in the process of them just starting. Can they do that with no letter no nothing we really need our tax refund to be able to move into another apartment were ours has mold and my son needs to be out of his room were its leaking n such. @Enick yep, same thing just happened to my friends, they were told the same thing and still receive their refund and their account earlier today, I was told by the IRS they have until 10 PM e s t to get all of the deposits in, so keep your eyes open, you may receive it, push come to shove, you’ll just end up on the IRS, but it will be deposited today for sure

It’s a 3-4 week process to have funds offset….. So if you didn’t have your DDD 3-4 Weeks ago you’re good…. They have until 10pm EST to get all the refunds out

@carlos yes, 2 of them called and was told that they did not see the offset in their collections as of yet, but that doesn’t mean that they still catch it and It may be a week before it will show and push comes to shove you’ll end up owing the IRS, if they do, put it in your account just because of how long offset processing could take before collecting

Called irs. Those who went to private tax preparer, need to call your tax preparer. Checks were sent to their bank account if you’ve signed up for the fee to come out of your taxes.
Irs lady said that taxes get deposited overnight to the banks, and if you didn’t get it. Most likely it has been offset or your tax preparer has the check since it went in to their bank account.
If you didn’t get your $ today, they can’t do anything about it until 3/5/2019.
My tax preparer has my check.

Try calling the IRS at 1-800-829-1040. Press #1 for English, then #2, #1, #3, lastly #2. Do this while the system is talking and in that order. It’s the only way to get to someone. You may have to hold for awhile, but it’s worth it. The National Tax Advocate number is 1-877-777-4778, they may be able to help you. The IRS lady Mrs. Reynolds put in a form 911 for me. I hope this helps. I know I’ve been crying all morning. I know how you feel.

It is possible you can still receive your money with the offset…. Even if it is for your entire refund, plenty of people had got theirs in their accounts today with that same offset for student loan.

So I find out today that my entire refund was taken because of student loans. I no letter, and nothing on the offset line until today. I really needed that money. My family facing foreclosure, I need to have dental surgery and I need a care for my mom to get to her doctors appointments. I lost her for a few minutes this month she just stopped breathing, but thank God she is still here. But I spoke to a nice woman at the it’s that put in a 911 form for me to the national tax advocate and I pray I can get my refund back. I had no codes no letter nothing. I’ve been crying all morning. I don’t know what to do. 😥😥😥😥😥

YES YOU NEED TO CHECK OFFSET LINE CHOOSE OPTION 2 lots of people are getting offset for student loans and hospital bills. child support back state taxes funeral home debts and other miscellaneous debts. So if you owe student loans and you didn’t apply for a deferment or forbearance then you might get your money took.

My DD didn’t hit my emerald card until 10:10AM. I had just checked it literally ten minutes before and then i checked it ten minutes later and it was there so just keep checking. If you had anytime of advance or fees it will go to their account first then they will forward it through. I was just about to call the IRS at 11:00 had it not been on there so just don’t give up hope just yet they are actively releasing funds every so often. And also make sure you are choosing option #2 on the offset hotline there has been a lot of misconception regarding that feature as #1 represents allocated business debt and will not reflect personal debt garnered. I wish everyone luck. It was extremely frustrating seeing all the updates of individuals getting their money as early as yesterday and I wasn’t getting nothing at all. Some people have claimed to be short of upwards 4K but all of mine was there so they must have had some type of offset they were not aware of. Good luck!!!!!

Check to make sure that either you or the tax preparer entered the correct direct deposit info. I hadn’t received mine, turns out they sent it to an old account number. Thank God, PNC transferred it and I’ll be getting it tomorrow.
Check right away bc most banks reject the deposit and send it back, and then the check is mailed out. -

Trying to figure out whether or not my return’s coming through today or not, I’ve not gotten it yet.
It’s 12:12pm and I have no pending transactions in my PayChekPlus! Elite Visa, which is what I used on my 1040. Filed thru turbotax… Even their date is wrong. IRS tells me the 27th, today, with my ACTC and EITC credits, all while Turbotax told me I was supposed to be refunded on the 18th. The fuck? This system should just be automated to the extent where everything goes through for everyone at set times and there’s a way to tell how far down the queue you are, that way people can actually, yknow, reliably count on the government and their agencies to come through for once.

I wanted to give an update I filed with HRB and had a DDD for the 27th and mine didn’t come till right @ midnight last night however I talked to someone today and with all the refunds going out today it is taken a little longer than usual. There was a small batch that went out on the 22nd for most of us our refunds were coming today. Hang in there it’s coming. Also WMR is still saying the same thing with 2 bars and I haven’t not received an email from HRB telling me that they are starting the deposit for my return. I hope that this helps y’all!! So I haven’t wrote in this forum yet but, I just want to say thanks for all the people giving updates. I was going crazy thinking something was wrong. My DDD is today and every other year I would have it before my DDD and nothing yet! I live in NY and my bank is a smaller bank so I am hoping that won’t make it take even longer to go through direct deposit. Community Bank Na. Is our bank. Like I said, we usually get ours so fast and have had the same bank for the last 5 years. Hope we get it soon as that is going to be used for our closing fees on the house we are purchasing 😩 good luck to everyone today!

I filed Feb 4 2019 using H&R block home edition. Did the emerald advanced back in Nov 2018 so had to have my direct deposit through them. I claimed EITC and ACTC. My status changed from processing to approved Feb 16th 2019 and received a DDD of Feb 27th 2019. Every year for past 6 years I have received my refund on the DDD around 1am or 2am CST, this year however I did not receive anything. I know the WMR site sometimes takes a while to update so I check the bank acct directly. I understand why they make filers claiming those credits wait and trust me its worth it ( my son was claimed by a random stranger back in 2014, took forever to have that fixed.) Im getting impatient and worried that my refund is stuck in the abyss. I called H&R block and was told there was no pending deposits but I would most likely have it by 530 pm today. Hoping its there at some point, good luck to all.

My refund hit my bank account at 1:00 AM (local credit union). I had no fees, etc., so it was a direct DD. I checked WMR and it is still at 2 bars – so if you are still waiting and the 2 bars are worrying you – rest assured that doesn’t mean anything!

My refund is finally showing in my account-hooray! Made it’s way to SBTPG yesterday so I’m happy it’s finally in there, although I’m not going to have fees taken from it ever again-I don’t think I’ve ever had to wait until the due date to get it.

I filed 1/20, accepted 1/22, Path message updated the 16th, that was the 1 st movement I saw, my transcripts said 20190605 2/25/2019, then showed sent 2/27/2019 on about 2/21. I saw Sbtpg show up early on 2/26 which showed payment sent to me 2/26 (and showed my bank account info only on desktop screen). My bank always does deposits between 1am-6am and sure enough my deposit hit in a regular bank (debit card) at 1:52am CT. If you have any questions please ask. If you’re waiting find out what time your bank usually accepts new deposits and I bet that’s when you’ll get it. Usually between 8am-10am on most banks here in Texas. Good luck guys .🍀 . Happy spending if there’s anything left after bills.👍🏻😉. Atleast try to treat yourselves once, ok 😉.

ddd 2/27 two days after my birthday was very happy thinking my 5 year son and i will eat breakfast this morning… i lost my job due losing my truck to local theives who sold it in parts. Will no food this morning 6:03 here in Texas Wal-Mart greendot card … no money either.

I had the DDD of 2/27 and it is scheduled to post to my account today.
Possible tip for next year – don’t try and file before the IRS is open I saw a lot of people run into to trouble with that.
Also it seems that refunds are being delayed more and more as the years pass so don’t spend your money before receiving the refund! I have seen way too many people be screwed by timing. If possible please wait on whatever it is that you are trying to purchase then wait. -

I filed my tax return 2/4/18, Child tax credit & Head of Household. I’ve been using the same Tax advisor for 5 years and never had a problem receiving my refund within 21 days. It’s not 2/27/19 @ 4:11 AM CST, and it’s still saying, “your return is being processed, we will provide you with a date once available.” I had the bars the first 2 weeks. It’s been saying this message for a week now without updating. Has anyone else had this problem?

DD 2/27My big take away this tax season is if I want my deposit when it is sent and not the intended post date, then I need to open a Netspend for that specific purpose.
I filed my ca state taxes 2/25 was accepted and issued on 2/26
I’m shocked how fast that process was!

My direct deposit date was the 27th also. Also for me the date came and went with out receiving funds. All three bars are full so im guessing it sent. I was wondering if it will always show an error code in the WMR or IRS2GO. Because i havent seen any codes this year. I was having problems with my bank last friday but was told that shouldn’t have affected my taxes being posted but now I have my concerns.

In Texas. H&R block. Filed 1/22 accepted 1/23 Updated on wmr on 2/23 to a DDD of 2/27. Fees & Repayment of Refund Advance loan taken out of refund. Have emerald card but I’ve only ever used it for the Refund Advance loan last year & this year. Opted for Fed. refund to DD into my personal FCU bank acct after fees. I am relieved to finally say that my DD is available in my bank account..🗣Woohoo!!!!😁👍🙏🤓 It was such a relief to see the funds finally there when I checked at around 11:42pm Central Time!!!👍🙏 I almost didnt check my bank acct because I had called the emerald card number around 11:05pm(I’m Central Time)& it still had the message that they had recieved notice from the irs my refund had been processed & my refund was scheduled to be deposited onto my emerald card on 2/27. The real question though is has anyone’s WMR tracker actually updated to show that the funds have been “sent” because mine still says they’ll be sent by the 27th. But uh…it is the 27th.

Had no fees coming out had TT card. With a ddd 2/27 still no DD here.
All of my friends and neighbors that had the same DDD and card and had fees all of them got there money DD today between 5:30 am est and 6:30 PM est time on 2/26. I figured since I didnt have fees coming out I would see my DD first but nope. This tax season is a little messed up from what I’m seeing. I figure and hope it does decide to load today since it dosent have to go through stpg I cant see if it’s even been sent out yet but I usually get it a day early or the day of anyhow.

@DeepAlms that’s super sweet of you! My hubby and I usually get smaller returns but last year I used our whole return to pay taxes for this years tax season so I got a pretty hefty return this year. I said I would make it a common practice. We both work so this extra Money is simply going straight to savings.

Not everyobe’s refund goes through this SBTG thing. ONLY if you paid fees to file taxes. Otherwise, your refund comes directly through the IRS. Just what I heard. DDD 2/27 and nothing yet.

If it say the 27th its all on the time zone u are in texas is 3 hours amso ita 903 now its 603 pt time zone. They release funds after 2am when update the website find more info on igotmyrefund.com time zone on there date to see when ur bank will release funds just remember that its a 3 party in the middle of sending u ur fund the irs send a email to the 3 party bank for me it will be Greendot so funds can hit that day and the bank pays u out with what the irs quote u. if it the 27th and the time zone is behind me 9am my time will post.

Accepted 1/17No idea when it switched to that “Take Action” screen because I wasn’t expexted any issues. Last year went smooth.
No changes in income, no debts. Called the 800 #, no offsets. I do claim both credits. EITC & Child credit.
As of this morning, no change to my WMR. Still says “Take Action”. No letter in the mail. Nothing pending according to my bank.
So frustrated. I sit and watch as most folks WMR changed on the 23rd and they got a DDD of 2/27. But I sit here stressing.
With no iffsets, I’m sure it’s just a waiting game. But bills are still coming and money is owed for rent, car payment, cell etc. Too much stress.

Sbtpg is the bank that takes fees out of your refund. Only if u had to pay to file taxes and chose to have them taken out ur refund SBTPG receives the money first to deduct the fees. If it was free to file they will not get ur refund first you just have to wait for it to deposit straight to ur method of payment

Still waiting. Going to have next year’s tax refund deposited on a Netspend card. People with a DDD 02-27-2019 and have a Netspend card, have already received their refunds on Sunday and yesterday!
Apparently, banks will hold on (and speculate with) your money for as long as they can get away with before they’re required to have the money in your account as directed by the IRS.
Aside from being pulled once in 2014 (ID verification), and having to wait until April until I received our refund, this has been the longest wait for my Fed refund (State never takes more than a week, at most).

SBBT has received my refund but as of yet there is nothing to my bank which is a credit union. Last year my bank didn’t process it to my account until the next business day.

And I was told the bank for HRB is now AXOS and there is no way to check on their website. Has anyone who filed with HRB with fees taken out but is not using an emerald card gotten their reurns? And we’re you able to access SBTPG or republic prior? Anything will help. I have always gotten my return earlier than my DDD and since HRB decided they want to take an extra 3-5 days to process the return. I know it’s coming. SBT website updates every minute (it seems that way at least) . I checked on mine and it wasn’t received, I then checked 2 minutes later and it was. I would recommend checking every 20 to 30 minutes.

Past 8 years I have used the HR Block Emerald Card. Every deposit I’ve had in the 8 years never comes early with the emerald card FYI. They wait until DD day to depositthe funds usually at 6am that day. So expect your refund tomorrow morning!
This year I went with the Walmart money card . Nothing as of yet but someone said there’s a good chance it will be deposited and in the account this afternoon… we shall see -

Mine is 2/27 so a reasonable time to freak out would be March 4th or later. Everybody was so worried about getting a deposit date and now everyone’s stressing and bitching about not getting it early. Come on people. We all need the money but instead of saying “I’m not using such and such prepaid card next year” how about saying “I’m not putting myself in a financial situation to where I have to use my refund to catch up on everything” don’t live above your means all year and then get mad at the IRS for now giving you your return early. And early filers, don’t give that “I’ve been waiting 40 days shit. Shouldn’t have filed early sfyl!

SBTG just received my refund and took out TT fees within minutes of checking their site! :) I checked at 6am EST, then 10 minutes later checked again and it was there! They are slowly getting things done!

I know hrblock goes through axios bank and I believe they also take the fees, meaning our money doesnt make two drops. 1. Sbtg, 2..bank . Which hopefully is good news for hrblock people. .it’s just a theory. But then how long the bank wants to hold the cash is a differnt story. I’m not sure if axios holds onto the money for any length of time…YIKES, I JUST MADE MYSELF NUTS!!!

Did anyone with a DDD of 2/27 receive their refunds in their bank account yet? Not a card, but in their bank? I also checked Santa Barbara and nothing. However, I also have tax topic 203 on wmr. This is a whole other issue in itself. I have an overpayment for SS. Called TOP and they confirmed it. However, I called SSA yesterday and they said an appeal is pending. They’re not supposed to collect if an appeal is pending. So my frustration of whether or not i’ll get my refund is stressful.

Followed thread from last few weeks af5er the EIC and child tax credits were settled starting 2/20 $$$$ was disbursed finally!!!!! Seems people who paid fees up front got 2 days early from DDD and those who didnt 1 day early(Lets hope this week is processed the same way 🤞🤞). for emerald card anyways and other prepaids i seen.. alphabetical order does not apply to when at all, i think its by Ss#…
The only thing trending to an order was timezones .. all the refunds seemed to be from 6pm-10pm (Cali, Tennessee and Georgia had 20+ people confirm) west coast hit 1st then mid then east coast last of all.. after 10pm EST it slowed down and then stopped, a small amount on the actual DDD
For me no delay credits and Ddd 2/27 didnt pay fees up front as of 2/25 3:30am nothing as of yet.. HRBLOCK app Never shows me pending ACHs and i used it for payroll for a few years…
WMR 2ND STEP STILL.. everyone also said they kept checking balance and the notifications were slow.. i would check every few hours on bank app late tonight.Im in New York so hoping by 10pm tonight is when mine should come through!!

I filed my taxes this year with H&R Block and opted to have my fees withheld. I filled on 01/23/19 and my taxes were accepted within an hour of filing. WMR updated on 2/23/19 and said my tax refund would be sent to my account by 2/27/19. As of now WMR shows my taxes were accepted but the sent bar hasn’t lit up yet and I do not have my funds yet. @Andrew I’ve used TT and SBTPG (and USAA for banking) for at least 5 years in a row. I have had no problems with TT, and SBTPG gets your money sent out to your bank within 12 hours of the posting (normally within 6). With USAA I get access to the funds as soon as they are notified of a pending deposit.

I filed on 2/2/19 with a DDD of 2/27/19 through TT with fees taken out of refund. I have NetSpend and nothing yet. I’ve checked SBTPG all day and they don’t have my return yet. I did notice from past returns in 2/2017 and 2/2018 (February) that my refund was on my card between 4:30pm and 5pm Eastern time, a day before WMR DDD said. So hopefully it will be the same this year. Let’s hope so.

Whomever you spoke to seriously misinformed you. The Turbo card is through Green Dot and can be used for tax refunds or payroll. That is why Turbo Tax offers it. Also, the Walmart Money card is through Green Dot and I have used that for years. For both payroll and my tax refunds.

I contacted Skylight. and they said that they have no control over the funds, and they will be posted on the 27th. Which makes no sense because ToS says funds will be posted the next business day following the deposit day. it got deposited on Sunday Night. So it should be here in the am? I got the DDD of 2/27 this past Saturday – I have “account alerts” set up through my CU, that emails was waiting for me this morning when I got up…pending until 2/27. So I know it’s going to be there Wednesday, they just don’t release it early. No fees/offsets.

People talking about wmr and it changing to refund sent. I’ve been filing taxes for over 10 years and it doesn’t changefor me to sent for a couple days after ddd. Even when I got it early. Im just saying, I wouldn’t worry about that part. Unless it says sent and you don’t have it.

I use my refund for our family disney trip every year. I had them withhold the maximum amount this year and I’ve got enough left over to pay for some awesome summer camps for the kids too!

Anyone in CA and bank w/ Wells Fargo with a DDD 02/27? I had my refund DD to my wells fargo acct and I am starting to think it may have been better to get a netspend or serve card. I am seeing a bunch pf ddd 2/27 people w/ posted refunds on those cards. Ugghhh I know its coming…

my return is around 6k with a $600 offset. i looked on sbtpg web page but they saying they haven’t received it. will offset people be deposited on 27th or before. i almost always have a minor offset for child support but i have always got paid early in the past. will it be the same this year. last year i had a dd a @6:16pm with bluebird on Feb 22 2018

So a friend of mine got her taxes at 630 this morning and her bars didn’t even changed to sent so so.e of us may get them in the morning she has emerald card her ddd was 27th

Also keep in mind, if it does not show refund sent from IRS website, we may have to wait until 2/27/19, but sometimes they will send before updating WMR website.

Anxiously waiting like everybody else who hasn’t received dd yet. My ddd is 2/27 but would be nice to get it a little early. Doubt it will happen. I have a Capital One and not sure but they probably do not release funds early. It kills me that I filed so early thinking yes I’ll get them early this year and not March 7th like last year….boy was I wrong. Not sure but next year I might WAIT until first week of Feb to file. I filed 1/22 I think and was accepted on the 24th. I love this thread though it keeps me sane and reminds me to be patient.

I filed 2/3 with a ddd of 2/27 and have fees coming out of tpg bank and still haven’t received my refund! I keep getting the we have not received your federal tax refund!! Never again will I have fees taken out for tt!

I use a local credit union and my deposit has been pending since 9pm last night and expected to post at 5:30 this afternoon (any DD I get shows pending the night before it posts!)

Not sure if I understand your comment…us with fees getting taken out by sbtpg are the ones waiting, as well as others of course, but the majority of people who don’t have it are waiting on sbtpg. I’m gunna have a heart attack from this anticipation 😂 -
I feel like only those whose deposit comes from sbtg will get theirs before 2/27/19.

Hello everyone! I filed with turbo tax… and will be having fees taken out, DDD of 2/27. I bank with fifth third…. does anyone know if I will have to wait until the 27th to receive my refund? Yes alot of us got our money early deposit on sunday night. Mine hit my serve card at 10:08. Im still in shock! Sunday night!! Its a 1st for me but i use amex serve not a traditional bank who will hold it until 2.27.19

Just chatted online with Elevations Credit Union. My refund DOES NOT show up on my account when I look at it, BUT they said it is definitely pending, gave me the correct amount, and said it will not post until the 27th. Oh well. Good to know it is there!!
I have part of it going to my prepaid BankMobile Vibe card, but they usually don’t post until the exact DDD either.

Hi everyone, I have been following these thereads for while. Just figured out how to post. I also have a ddd of 2/27. I bak with Chase. I hope I get it early. I wont be relieved untill its in my account. With 45 and this “wall” situation, I feel like a “ Hand Maid’s Tale” type of situation could happen at anytime with our money. Congrats to everyone with a DDD we have been waiting a long time.

I just checked mines at 3:45am and it was approved with a dd of 2/22/2019. Ever since feb 16th after the path act disappeared my bars disappeared also. Everyone around me got deposit dates for the 22nd. So yesterday i was like ummmmm whats wrong with my return .. But today on the 23rd i got my dd date. Anyone who thinks something is wrong all i can say is be patient because something will come through. If not you will know. I hope anyone who is waiting will receive great news.
