      I can’t file my state until 1/30/2015 and I was wondering is this the reason my federal has not moved past processing? What time zone is TT because when I went to file my state its still saying its not available?

          Being in Illinois where they haven’t even started accepting e filers state returns I wondered the same but they’re two separate entities. Of course, uncle Sam can apply whatever rules he wants at any time in Illinois, I’ve learned. Good luck!!

            Filing your state return shouldn’t have anything to do with it. Some people never file a state return simply because they break even.
