      Okay, so forgive me for my slowness lol, but. With the proposed new child tax credit for 2023. Does it mean that we will get an extra 1800 on our refund? Or how does it exactly work?

          No it does not have that in the language of bill. Here is more information, it’s primarily an adjustment of the refundable portion, the amount of credit is not changing.

          It just made it out of committee and went to House Floor on Friday. So it hasn’t passed yet. We will update that article as things progress and more information becomes available
