Child credits the 27th

Hi, I just got off of the phone with the Irs and the agent I spoke with stated that with child tax credits they will start releasing funds Feb. 27th. I called because of all of the miscommunaction that i have been seeing from people. And I was scared that something was wrong with my return.
I used turbotax-fees taken out
Accepted 1/28 (agent asked when I filed)
Had path message on the first Saturday in Feb.
Wmr updated last Saturday to Processing message. Path message had tax topic 152 message on it, now I have no message other than being processed. Hope this helps calm someone down😊

Y’all are strange. Even the website says EXACTLY what this young lady just wrote. The 27th IS the date the IRS gave. Just bc some people have 2/22 dates doesn’t mean she’s lying or looking for attention. She’s only stating what the IRS told her🥴.

It sucks having to wait until the27th. Both my boyfriend and I have the processing message. He filed the 28th of Jan and I filed the 5th of February. We should have an update Saturday night. Just hang in there.

I think it’s the higher refunds that will go out 2/27

If they already process the credits and apply them to your transcript why the delay in the refund? Also why are only some people delayed?

I am wondering the same thing too. I also know of some people that got the date of 2/22 for a dd with children credits….Then I also heard a select few were chosen for that date as a test batch… Who knows at this point.
