I’d be less impatient if they’d just give me a date… It’s the unknown, that bothers me. but we know they won’t be issuing any today. so guess we’ll see what tomorrow holds.
I seriously don’t see how it would help, seems to be doing more harm than helping. I can imagine that it has increased the already high call volume resulting in more hours and more staff.
I’m wondering if this new tax law is actually helping them catch people or giving them more time to play with our money? I mean, have they caught anyone yet?
I’m not patient. Lol
@sunriselops Honestly I don’t think they update on weekends, we all know how cheap Arkansas can be. However I am not 100% on that.
Looks like we won’t be seeing anything now until after the weekend and Holiday. Oh well, here is to holding out for next week. I will start calling if I don’t update next week because I will be at 4 weeks on the 20th. I feel oddly patient this year…
DDD for 22nd on federal also….
Does anyone know when they update the Where’s my refund? Do they update on the weekends?
Got a DDD for the 22nd as well for federal, so that’s good news. Sucks that AR is taking so long though.
Nothing. Did get federal DDD of the 22nd also, so that’s a plus
nothing this morning changed for me either, what did they do process a few and then take a vacation?
On the other hand I got my federal DDD this morning in the update as expected for 2/22.Nothing nothing NOTHING

@Lioness Nothing today either. I just checked mine and the boyfriend checked his and the balance is still sitting there. The only reason I use that as a guide is I have always seen the balance and then it will be zeroed out and usually the following day I get the deposit or a day or so later. I been pretty much getting up and checking and then checking before I go to bed. Trying to get an idea of what to expect each year and yanno it will work for a few years and then the system changes and we have to figure out the new formula all over again lol.
I have mine going direct deposit and there is nothing in future view (I can see my pay checks 4 days ahead with it) and We will have a bit longer wait on the boyfriends because his will be paper check as he had fees deducted with TT and they don’t allow DD when you do that with AR state returns.@sunriselops It does seem to be how it has went for many of us here. However I have seen others get theirs in about two weeks but my three weeks was the 12th as mine says it was finished the 22nd of Jan.
As far as Federal goes I expect a update with a DDD tonight after midnight when the system updates because the path message was gone as of last nights update and replaced with the amount back and went back to the processing message. I just can’t view transcripts because I use prepaid cell and checking so no credit for me.

I filed and accepted 23rd. Had the processed on 24th message since then and still today. This morning DD hit my account.
I just called the state and they said it could take 3 to 4 weeks after your processing date to get your refund. Has that been true for everyone?
@lioness that’s a big negative for me. And it says I’ve exceeded maximum attempts to login, which is annoying because I have only tried once… But no money in my bank either, dang it!!!!!

@cgdesilva where are you looking at “tax accounts” that show a positive balance?
This is for sure the 2nd year that I have waited like this and it is why I am assuming the Path thing has a bit to do with it. Prior to two years ago I would file around the last week of Jan-first week of Feb and always had state by Feb 5th. I would never see a positive balance in my tax account either, as soon as they finished the return it was on its way to my account.
You would figure that as the years went on the system would get better not worse as far as speed/accuracy/fraud detection goes but I guess not. I’m not in dire need of the funds but my Birthday is the 25th and I would like to go out like I just won a $500 scratch off lol.@AB Lmao JG Wentworth is probably on retainer for the IRS, because when we owe them that statement surely applies.
@Rick I believe last year it said my return was processed on such and such date and please allow 5-7 days for direct deposit to show up. It was much faster. This is the first year I’ve waited for state like this.

Last year I had a check so I think I got it way later, AFTER my federal finally came on the 22nd.

My Brother in law, who filed weeks after me and my boyfriend got his today. No warning or text even though he signed up for them. He had No EIC or ACTC. Mine has been sitting in my tax account from the 22nd of Jan and the boyfriend’s has been on his as a positive balance on his tax account from the 26th. I am just going to take that as a sign that everything is fine and we are both just waiting on a deposit.
As far as federal goes we have both been weeklies for years. I assume we will get a deposit date on the 17th as that will be the first Saturday after the 15th.

@Rick I have the credits and haven’t gotten a DDD yet, but my friend received a text Friday night saying that her refund was issued 2/8/18 and she received her money in her account on Saturday morning. She had both the EIC and ACTC and is still currently waiting on PATH for her federal. She filed the 23rd, processed the 29th.
Still no DD or update for me.. processed on the 23rd. Did you people that got DD this week have PATH for federal?
Don’t understand why AR takes so long now compared to previous years.
I forgot to mention I filed of the 26th accepted on the 29th
I was finally able to log into my tax account and I can pull up the return. I still don’t have a deposit but It shows on TT that it was accepted and processed on 1/23 but by what they have it was done on 1/22. Crazy that I am still waiting for it considering it is obviously done or I would not have the positive credit to the account. I guess they are just waiting to move it out and send it to me. I will update you when I get a deposit.

AB, i’m still waiting also. filed 1/31, accepted 2/1. atap hasn’t updated, looks as though people are getting their text updates just before 8pm. i guess i’ll keep my fingers crossed for the next 11.5 hours LOL. do you know if there is a refund offset number for Arkansas?
I’m still waiting, but it’s refreshing to see that other people have started getting their deposits! Fingers crossed mine comes sooner rather than later!
Mine will be a check but it still shows a balance on atap so I’m guessing it hasn’t been released

Update just got a text that a refund was issues 2/11. I’ll let you know what happens.
I just got a text saying my refund was sent 2/11/18. It says to allow 7-10 business days. Hopefully it will show up in my bank tomorrow’s.
I really think they just throwing out information. Like come on just tell us if we have to wait longer or they holding them for a certain time or whatever. My gosh

I filed the 23rd processed the 24th, I called just now and the lady said you’ll receive your refund within the next two weeks. Like really. This is the 3rd week already. Smh.
@Lioness I called this morning the lady told me my refund was released on the 8th but somehow I don’t believe her. I’m going to call back and see if I get someone else to see if I get a different answer.

My friend just got the text from ATAP saying her refund was issued yesterday! She then checked the website and it too had updated! I’d post a pic if I could lol. She filed the 23rd, processed the 29th, has both EIC and ACTC
I think that’s something they tell people because we have someone in here that got deposit this morning with no notifications. I hope to see mines in the morning 😏 wishful thinking.
Filed Jan 19th processed on 23. Called and said it will take 3 weeks, so this Tuesday will be the 3rd week. So we will see! And it took 3 weeks last year, due to itentity theft, basically holding it a little longer. I also put my number to get notification when sent to the bank. So look to you not getting your state until 3 weeks after it’s processrd.
Everyone seem so patient and calm this year…I’m thinking its because its our 2nd go round with the PATH so we know what to expect now.
Still nothing for me, or anyone else I know that’s already filed. Lame

@inomniaparatus Yay! Thank you for letting us know. I am pretty sure us with ACTC and EIC will be waiting a bit longer but any progress is good. Your the first person I have seen from Arkansas that has a confirmed deposit.

I called the # on the page that says my refund has been processed but not sent, asked the lady there what this message meant as I had not ever seen it in previous years, she advised me that it started last year and that they won’t be issuing refunds till the 3rd or 4th week of February.

I noticed the link to sign up for email alerts this morning too. I think it’s new because I don’t recall that being an option before. I honestly think that AR is walking the “PATH” this year too cause they’re usually so fast. I just filed, so my wait hasn’t been long, but my sis has been waiting since the 23rd.
Did you guys see where you can enter your email or phone number to receive a notice when your AR refund will be issued? Once you put in the information on the state inquiry page hit the “next” button at the bottom and it will take you to that screen. Mine was processed on the 29th but I still have nothing; however, I did receive my federal refund today. 😊 Good luck to all!
Although I see different states posting they received refund. Unfortnately I dont think we’re going to see any deposits until next week.
@Lioness I am the same way. Not in a hurry to get it because it is already spent when it gets here on home repairs and car tags.

I don’t know if it means they are holding it till Mid February or not but I know last year it seemed to take longer. I got federal last year before state and that was the first time that had ever happened. I know in this very thread from last year I stated that for over a week I could see the positive balance sitting in my tax account because it was done and credited but not removed and paid until I would say two weeks after I saw it there. The stupid tracker was of no help last year either, it would tell me that they were done but when I called I was told they were not ready and about 10 other unrelated answers by some of the rudest people. I think last year was about 17 days total from filing to getting paid. Good luck to everyone this year, I just got the Path message on Federal today finally.
Good to see as well @InOmniaParatus @Lioness I called them Friday and they said they were processing like last year. What ever That means. Then she says 2 weeks from Monday the 29th. But @InOmniaParatus sounds more promising I hope it’s true about the banks.

I talked to my bank today and they said they received a ton of state taxes and are in the process of processing them. Maybe we’ll see something tomorrow or Monday?
