Has anyone that filed on or after 2/2 received their az state refund? Mine still shows that it was received. I emailed them 2 days ago and still no response back with an update. I already received my federal taxes last week and that’s unusual that I got federal before state. I tried calling too but keep getting message that they have a lot of calls.

@ArizonaArizona Good luck hopefully they are just busy and it’s taking them longer than usual to process these tax returns. I reached out to my tax accountant and H&R Block and she said how everything looks good so hopefully she is right LOL.

Did you call them to get status? Arizona processing time is 10 days so you should have received your refund at least by today. Mine is still in processing as well.

I filed my return on 2/2 and still have not received it. Usually I would get my state refund in 2-3 days and before my federal. This year I already received my federal but no state yet. Anyone else still waiting on state refund?

Got the letter from AZ on Monday. I’m being audited before they send out my tax refund. What a joke.

And still waiting. I called them back yesterday and was told that they do, in fact, need more information. But the agent couldn’t tell me what this other department needed. Only that I may or may not receive a letter in the next 2 weeks with the info they need, if they actually need it, otherwise I’ll get my refund. Has anyone else ever dealt with this hoopla from AZ?

Finally got ahold of someone at the AZDOR yesterday. They told me it’s just going to take 12 weeks to process from the date it was accepted. So 2 more weeks. No explanation as to why. *sigh*

Filed early with TT 1/18Has anyone received their AZ refund, while still waiting on the Federal refund? My Federal refund seems to be caught up in their delays, as it’s been weeks with no update. And my state refund also seems to be in limbo as well. I know AZ doesn’t start accepting returns until the IRS does, and I’m wondering if these issues are linked somehow.

Well, 6 weeks after I filed and 2.5 weeks after being accepted by Arizona, I woke up to the “your refund was sent by direct deposit on 3/15/2021” notice today. I have Serve card so I’m guessing it will deposit by this afternoon. Crazy process this year.

I filed 2-1 accepted for Arizona on 2-16 (4 days after fed) received fed 2-22. Still only at “we received your refund”
Usually state comes within a few days of being accepted. I have no idea what’s going on this year 😩 -

It said 3/9 but arrived 3/5, so it was mailed before that.
If you scroll down to Feb 2020 comments, you’ll see a bunch of us with that msg.
it’s not a guarantee it’s a check, but we see different wording when its a DD instead.It does mean its coming though. Good Luck:)

The Arizona state refund tracker has told me “The refund process was completed on 2/19/2021. Paper refunds mail within three business days from this date. Direct deposits are in your account within two business days from this date” since last Friday but now it says the same thing but with the date of 2/24/2021. What is even going on lmao I just want my money

Arizona finally accepted our return today, we filed 2/1 and Fed was accepted 2/12, we got our Fed deposited on Friday.

@happyusIn ’18, mine was accepted on 1/30, got another notification it was rejected a moment later. Then the next morning it was accepted.
It was weird. I didn’t have to do anything, TT fixed it on their end. I can imagine refiling it yourself is way more stressful.

@kittykatatethetiger, still no update for federal :(. AZ rejected on Saturday 2/20 for no reason, refiled on Sunday 2/21 and was accepted yesterday 2/22. We are weekly so hoping for update on Fed on Friday.

AZWMR is cycling from unable to locate to the “we received…check back in 2wks” msg. I’m not seeing anything pending on my acct.

I did get my Transcript DDD though, Sat (instead of Fri) for 2/25/21, No WMR update. I’m usually a weekly 05, I had an 0801.
2020 AZ didn’t give me a DDD until 24hrs before Fed updated Trans DDD.

@KittyKatAteTheTiger – Same boat. Arizona STILL hasn’t been accepted, 1 bar on federal. I had 1/4 date for stimulus and it deposited 12/30 with AMEX Serve. I always get my state before my Fed but Arizona has never taken this long to accept so who knows? The IGMR Facebook page is fired up with deposits tonight, I was foolishly hoping the treasury infrastructure that pushed out covid relief would fast track tax refunds too. Ha!

I’ve checked throughout the day, not change.
Checked Banking App, no pending.Even called my Bank (VWCU) to check for pending transactions, nothing.
My bank usually posts 3 days ahead of DDDs. Even when there’s a Holiday.
Stimulus DDD was for 1-04 and I received it on 12-31!
Also checked my Transcript despite being a weekly and knowing better. No change there too.

Filed 1/29, Federal accepted 2/13, Arizona still hasn’t accepted. We are usually accepted sam day as fed, guess they are slow to start this year.

Filed 2/1, Fed accepted 2/12, nothing from Arizona. Two years ago we elected direct deposit and they sent a check, last week it took 3 weeks to get our direct deposit. I miss the old days when Arizona DOR would accept on Friday and you’d have your direct deposit by the following Wednesday.

EITC+CTCAZ is now accepting paper returns but wont be accepting E-Filed Returns until Feb 12 alongside IRS ( as always). Generally most people see “received” on AZwmr a few days after. I wonder what dates we’ll begin to see “accepted”

Any one still haven’t received their AZ refund? I filed on the 30th of March and it was accepted on the 31st. And it still says AZ tax has received your tax return. Called them a couple of times and see nothing.

AZDOR finally got back to me and said my return was processed on 2/27/2020, and that I should receive my DD in 7 – 10 business days. Lets see what happens this week.

This is the number I called, @Jeremy I think you should call them too. I got my Fed too. I’m just waiting on this so I can finally say goodbye to 2019!
It’s also on the Aztaxes.gov site. You’ll find it at the top, click on the dropdown list, click on “help”, then “contact us”. Just follow the options to get a person. I’m sure we’re not the only ones with the weird wording on azwmr.

Finally some good news to hear. When I check my state refund it now tells me to check back on 3/17. It increases each day, but this gives me hope now. Luckily I got my federal refund already, but it would be nice to get my state as well.

So I know for a fact this means it’s being mailed because Turbo Card caused my State Refund Deposit to cancel. Hopefully they do send it today. I registered for USPS Informed Delivery just for this. Hopefully it comes next week.

Filed on 2/8… and just like everyone else, stuck on 2-4 weeks. We’ve never had problems before. So strange. Also concerned because we just moved so if they don’t follow thru with a direct deposit, who knows if and when the check will show up.

I feel like something broke at AZDOR and they won’t admit it and their poor reps have to find ways to cover for the ridiculousness that has become of their refund process.

Update.
Called and spoke to a rep. They mailed out a paper check instead of doing the direct deposit like we chose. Said it was security measures. We moved the beginning of February. So now there’s a check floating around somewhere that can’t be forwarded to our new address in Ohio.

Say maybe the print checks Tuesday and then mail them Fridays, I’d see it next Wed.
But if they print them Thurs or Fri, Then mail next week, then I don’t know.
I’m tired. Stayed up checking sbtpg all night for my Fed refund. At least I know that’s not gonna take 6 wks! This is the 1st time in 15yrs I use a diff acct. I usually use VWCU, HAD to choose Turbo card if i wanted the advance offer. Thought it’d be simple. Lesson learned.

So, I was still getting that “cannot provide info at this time” msg.
I called waited 15mins, lost audio, called again.
After 25 mins, i get someone new. He said my check was canceled but didn’t see what caused it, he could see that it will be most likely mailed and theres still a credit to my account. Gave a timeline of “up to 6wks”. I asked, but he couldn’t see whether a check was mailed or waiting to be mailed/printed. -
Mine was accepted on the 31st of January when I check just says They have received it and are processing it that they have a high volume of refunds to contact via email if it’s been longer than 4 weeks..
But My Son’s GF who filed 4 days after me got her refund Last Tuesday. Highly confused.

Correction: feb5 2019 onward mentioned how the wording changes and then they got mailed their check instead.

I remember last year, some who got that wording received a paper check in the mail instead of the DD they selected. You’ll find them if you go back to last season’s pages dates Feb18 and Feb23 have some mentions.
I’m calling AZDOR as soon as they open Monday.

Are any others PATHers? I wonder if AZ has become one of those States that wait until after IRS approved your return & released your refund. That could explain alot, but I’ve never heard of a change or announcement on the site.

I was told I’d receive my Arizona state tax refund in 10 days. I filled on Jan 1st 2020. When I go to where’s my refund. Com it says they’ve received it but to check back after 3/6/20? Just wondering what’s going on as it was a simple filling and ive never had a problem in all of my years filling races with AZ. Thanks for any insight you might be able to provide.

@Courtney – A number of filers in various forums are reporting that they received DDD for last week but deposits didn’t show up, then they checked again and were notified that a check would be mailed. I am not holding my breath. Arizona is so messed up the past few years.

I’m not entirely confident it will actually be in my account until Friday, since several people here have received DDD for last week but their deposits didn’t arrive on time. So I called their (602)# and the automated msg says, “if you e-filed expect your refund within 6wks, if you paper filed: 12wks”! WTH? It says online about 10 business days! At least it used to. I’ve never seen or heard anything like that time frame. What’s the deal? Did they fire everyone? There’s no way that’s a new normal. I used get it in 3 days from accepted! The worst (besides that offset yr) was 16 days. I’m so upset.

Last year I filed in 1/28 and was accepted the same day. My status for 2018 updated on Feb 4th to let me know my funds had been delivered electronically… When I checked the account the funds had actually been deposited on Feb 2nd (a Saturday). This year I filed on the 27th and was accepted the same day but have yet to see a change in the processing message that lets me know to check back in 2-4 weeks. I’ve searched for any information about delays in processing and have found nothing outside of an article in which the azdor states that as of the 5th of Feb everything is running as usual and that I’d you filed electronically you should expect a processing timeframe of 8 to 10 days.
Well, it’s been more than 8 or 10 days and today would mark the end of the third week… Typically I may be concerned but it sounds like I’m not the only one who is seeing a delay this year. I’m also curious about the timeline I saw last year… Could the funds be in my account tomorrow and I won’t see the update until Monday again??? I suppose we continue to wait and see.

Filed and accepted 1/30. Got an email asking to send my W2 because my state refund was under review. Called to verify this was not a scam and it’s legit. The lady stated that my refund was flagged due to the high amount that was withheld from one of my employees. When I asked how long for it to be reviewed and processed she stated another 6-8 weeks from the date I sent I faxed in my W2s. WTF?! 😠 Anyone else under review?

UPDATE: I was an early filer, both fed and state accepted on 1/21, got my fed DD on 1/29. For several days after being accepted, the AZ refund site said they had no return from me. Then I started getting the same message as many here about high volume, etc and to wait 2-4 weeks. Today is exactly 3 weeks from when my return was accepted and as of this morning it says I’ll have my DD tomorrow. So that appears to be the timeline for now.

I also mentioned that the updated status wasn’t the same as last year. Last year they gave me a “direct deposited on this date” and this year… it stated ” refund process was completed”
THe verbiage was a clue to it being a check vs. a direct deposit.

Well friends. Found out that when I saw the DD of 2/4, I had chosen tax year 2018. So that was my fail. However, woke up to DD of 2/12 for this year. Interested to see if it’s really DD or if it’s a paper check.

I filed and accepted on 1/28. Mine still has the “we have received your return, check back in 2-4 weeks” message. Last year I filed 1/29 and had received a deposit on 2/6. I remember the morning of 2/6 I checked and had a general message and checked again about 10am and it had updated and the money was in my account. I’m hoping deposits will come through without an update to the website.

This is why I think they may mail it since every year for the last 9 years it gives me the day it was Direct Deposited.
It’s never said processed on this date before.
Even thought I picked DD.
But reading other posts, other’s have picked DD and they ended up getting a check mailed. SO, who knows! -
@Azfunrun mine says the same. Accepted on 1-27. Called and the agent had address from 2 years ago, not the one I filed with. Had no estimated ddd or even if it was going to be dd. I’m disgusted.

Well, just for giggles I went back and checked the site again. Now it says “The Arizona Department of Revenue has received your tax return.

I have always had direct deposit for the last 9 years. And every year, the status states: Your tax refund was delivered via direct deposit on 2/6/2019.So… this does make me believe that I’ll be getting a paper check instead. Who knows….

Hey hey, my AZ refund status changed from the “we received your refund, check back” at 6:00 am this morning to saying it was DD on 2/4 at 8:45 this morning. I haven’t received the direct deposit. Does anyone know/think that means it was mailed on 2/4?

I’ve never used anything on a card before, but it was free/no fee. Got half what I was preapproved for, and now I’ve got an extra step come DD Day. Also just found out spouse is 30days past due on another ticket! If I didn’t have children, he’d be growing flowers in my back yard right now. Too many witnesses Lol. I hope that’s not enough for an offset. -

My fed was accepted on 1/30 but I owed them $ so it was offset against my balance already. I have had zero movement on my state. I have checked the state and credit karma sites. The state says they don’t have my info yet and credit karma is still showing pending…not even accepted yet. I filed on 1/28. After doing some research i figured out that i can not even refile, just my state return electronically…so I guess I am stuck waiting it out and hoping that the state and/or credit karma gets it figured out :(

So, I know that if IRS doesn’t “accept” your refund, neither will AZ, but once accepted, I wonder if AZ waits to “process” until IRS does too. I’ve been looking at my proccesing dates (20190605, 201806…) and noticed a pattern. I know AZ does its own separate processing, but its also true that generally, if IRS doesn’t accept, AZ won’t either, but does it also wait to process as well? I’m an IRS “weekly”, so if I get a change according to a weekly’s patten. I’ll be convinced. I guess Wed msg change, Fri/Sat overnight DDD update and a deposit next week? Any thoughts?

My return was accepted on 1/22. I just checked the status and I’m supposed to get a direct deposit on 2/5. Although last year instead of DD, a check was issued.

Filed 2/27 accepted 2/28. I had the generic message until this morning. Now it says it was it was completed on 2/4/2020. Paper checks will be mailed within 3 days and direct deposit will be sent within 2 days. I always choose direct deposit. Last year they sent me a paper check anyway. We will see.

I believe when my refund was held 8 weeks (from acceptance date), an offset of like 20% of my refund amount was deducted for a ticket my husband was ignoring. I had no clue until I got the refund for less. Usually, you’ll get a letter explaining what’s happening way before the deposit. Ours did not.

Has anyone had any movement for AZ refund? I filed 1/28 with credit karma and nothing yet. I know credit karma is slow to update on their end but even when checking the states site it says my info can not be located and to try back in 2 weeks which I know is a generic message. Last year it was 3 days from filing to getting a check date but now I’m pushing 6 days and no updates so thought it was worth asking if there are others in the same boat

Anyone have their “check in 2 weeks message” update to DDD yet? Last year’s didn’t update until after 2/11(when it deposited) and the year before (2018) still says “check in 2 weeks” to this day!! -Also 2018’s was accepted 1/30 and didn’t deposit until April, out of nowhere!, and my emails to them where never replied to. It’s usually within 3-10 days for me, but 2018 left me worried and stressed out.

Requested DD on my AZ tax refund, and today I see I got a letter from Arizona Department of Revenue in my Informed Delivery from USPS.
So it looks like paper checks are the norm this year, even when DD has been requested. At least it only took five days for the check to show up after my refund was approved.

How long does AZ take to issue refund? This is my 1st year actually getting money back so I have no idea on the time frame? I also see a lot of people saying they recvd a check although they elected DD? What is that all about. Submitted AZ with Fed in 1/28, accepted same day, direct deposit for both. AZ status originally said it was completed 2/5. Did not receive a deposit within their time frame (2 days), so I called. They said a check would be mailed by 2/8, citing an increase in fraud. By 2/13, no check had arrived. I began to worry about mail theft (we have dealt with that in our neighborhood). Called back, said check was issued 2/5 but hadn’t been mailed yet “maybe it will be with the next batch,” rep told me. Checked today to see if there was a mailing date, it now shows that my return was processed 2/11. Informed Delivery shows check arriving today. I’ll be a little cynical and say that all the holds and delays and misinformation we’ve been getting have less to do with fraud and more to do with the interest state and federal governments earn on the taxes we overpay. Fraud is serious, but not as difficult to catch and avoid as we are led to believe. Anyway, for those who switched from 2/5 to 2/11, your check could be in the mail today so keep an eye out. I also went from 02/05 to 02/11. Of course no DD and calling the ADOR line to find out if it has been mailed out is pointless. I originally elected DD for my return and of course nothing today! I really would love a face to face conversation with who ever it is that cant seem to actually send something DD rather then a check.

I am so glad this is my last AZ tax return. Everything government in AZ is ass backwards and slow as molasses.
Still waiting after choosing direct deposit and filing 1/26 accepted next day… and WMR telling me 2/5 it will be deposited in two days or a check will be sent in three days. Like many of you, my date went up to 2/11 sometime in the last week.
I moved to Seattle and we’ve had a lot of snow, but the mail is still coming–just no check in the mail or deposit to my account.

Super irritated at AZ. Filed 1/30 accepted the same day. Clearly put Direct Deposit info. Processed 2/5. No direct deposit instead they are mailing a check. What’s the point! The yahoo on the phone started spouting off about identity theft. The only issue I have with that is nothing has changed on the return. I could see if it was a different address or anything else. The guy was rude and did not help.

my return was really fast this year. Filed on 2/1 and received my deposit on 2/6. Funny thing is that I was going to check that day for the status, but then I got a deposit notice. Now i’m just waiting on my federal return, but that won’t come until after the 16th due to PATH.

Super weird! My informed delivery didn’t show my check showing up today but I went and checked the mail anyway just on a hunch since @frustrated & I had the same processing info and sure enough my check was in the mail!

This is just crazy….mine has been saying that message since 2/5 so hopefully it doesn’t get pushed back any further. I know when I called them yesterday, she told me that mine did not show a mail date yet in they system and that is when she told me that they only mail on Wed and Fri. I am tempted to call back to see mine shows a mail date yet. I would be nice if there website would have this info so we dont have to keep calling. I even tried calling the automated system and that told me that my return had not even been processed yet…so who knows what is going on!

Ugh, so I just talked to a rep and she said that I don’t have an offset but my refund is coming by mail. She said she did not see my banking info. I checked my return and it was on there so I am not sure what happened there. She said that they mail checks on Wed and Fri so hopefully it is mailed out today… fingers crossed…again

So @frustrated & @not accepted it sounds like you both will be getting checks in the mail. Either for an offset or for some other reason & it doesn’t look like they are coming quickly. Mine was supposedly sent on 1/30 7 days ago & I still haven’t gotten it. It usually takes like 2 days to get things sent from in the state. I was looking at posts from last year on this thread and a lot of other people had the same issue. ☹️

I could be wrong but when I got that message it meant that I had an offset of $25 and was getting a check in the mail. The check was supposedly mailed ok 1/30. I’m still waiting on it.Everyone else who has gotten approved has gotten a message similar to ours but it had an actual deposit date and not the whole bit about a check being mailed. I would call them and tell them what you see online and ask them. That’s how I found out about my check.

I first got the message that it was being processed and due to high volume check back in 2-4 weeks. This morning I received the message that my info could not be found. Then around 630 it updated to your return was deposited on 2/06/2019

@KC I’m not 100% certain but I believe so. I think they won’t accept your state until they receive notification that your federal has been filed & accepted by the IRS.

Update: like I said before Mine was accepted 1/24 processed 1/29 but when I called today because it was well after the 2 business days & nothing in my account I found out I had a $25 state offset from like 2016 that they deducted so they mailed me a check & a notice saying that they deducted the money on 1/30. Hopefully it gets here quickly. Will let you all know when it arrives.

I was accepted the 29th and just got my deposit about 2 hours ago! So they are doing deposits unless for some unforeseen reason a check has to be mailed

It takes about 2-3 days after your federal gets accepted by the IRS for AZ to accept your state. I filed with TaxAct on 1/18 my federal got accepted on 1/22 my state didn’t get accepted until 1/24. If your federal gets rejected they will automatically reject your state. So if you filed on 1/28 & also got accepted that day they will probably accept your state tomorrow or Monday at the latest.

Has anyone had a delay in their AZ return being accepted? I filed Monday morning, 1/28/19, and it is still just showing as submitted but not accepted. I used Credit Karma tax to file. I used it last year with no issue, but I also filed later in the year so I am wondering if this is just an issue because I filed opening day…

I was told that a huge batch of checks are being held by ADOR and will not be mailed for at least 30 days. Mine must be caught up in that mess. I guess it’s been processed but no mail date. I was told two different things: it was a technical issue… and that the state does not have the money. Yikes! Am I ever going to see it? Anyone else told the same or similar.just would like to understand!

Checked AZ refund website and it said processed and approved 4/20, which then changed to 4/24. I signed for direct deposit but after calling they said a check was mailed..5/5 and still haven’t received any check?? What’s going on??

So i requested DD for my state refund as well, checked my refund tool online it said processed 4/6 should be 2 biz days for DD. I checked today using the tool and it said processed 4/10…how does it retract then get processed on later date????……i called AZ dept of rev and the agent said they been mailing checks instead to fight fraud….Im using netspend account since its advertised as quicker deposits however its a commonly used account by fraudsters….so i assume they check the issuer of the account and routing # and if its one of those prepaid accounts they will mail it w out notice.

We filed on 3-6. I did direct deposit but a few days ago we got ours in the mail. Very odd and to be honest I’m a little worried about the federal one because we chose dd for that too. This is the longest we have ever waited for our refund. And wmr still only says accepted for federal and h&r block status still says accepted for federal and state. Really confused here.

@Jeremy sorry for the late response. I have no idea why, my bank said my DD information was all correct. The lady I spoke with said I needed to contact my bank but they said there was no error on their part so I have no clue. Then on top of it they sent it to the incorrect address and not the new one I updated when I fined my return and I don’t know if it is going to be forwarded. I’m super irritated with them!

When I check the phone system it says your refund has not been processed…
But when I look online I get the message: The refund process was completed on 2/27/2018. Paper refunds mail within three business days from this date. Direct deposits are in your account within two business days from this date.
Not sure if anyone else has gotten the mixed message. I haven’t received a direct deposit yet.

My return was finished processing as of 2/23. dept of revenue can’t tell me where it went or if it had been mailed because of a typo on my DD. I checked my taxes and my DD is fine- no errors. I called the bank yesterday and they have nothing for me. Today still nothing….

Confirmed by phone, my AZ refund went out by check in the mail as of yesterday. Eesh. Likely a Turbotax glitch caused the DD information to not be provided to AZ. So they mail a check.

Wife just messaged me. Said my return was mailed to me instead of deposited into my account. Don’t know why that happened, but at i’m happy to finally have my money

Calling (602) 255-3381. When I call, i get through pretty easily to a rep but they cannot hear me talking. Tried a few times, gave up.

Well I don’t think I’ll be getting mine anytime soon since I got a letter from the Arizona Department of Revenue. Don’t know what it says yet cause it only came this morning and I’m at work, ugh! I guess I’m calling the department of revenue on lunch!!!

Mine changed from 2/16 to 2/21 which means I should have got my refund today, giving it two days for direct deposit. What number are you calling to check on your return?

I just thought I’d update, I did receive my direct deposit today! I had a sent date of 2/20 but was having fees withheld, and coming off a holiday weekend it took the extra 24 hours to show in my account. It looks like my federal is set to be deposited tomorrow. The WMR tool on the AZ dept of revenue site has been saying that my refund was sent to my bank on 2/20/18 since 2/15/18. Still nothing…I am hoping that I have a deposit tomorrow.

So I filed on 2/2, received 2/6, processed 2/9, dd was 2/14. I filed my fiancé’s 2/4, accepted 2/5, and nothing since. Anyone else running into this?

Thanks Alysha! My return was accepted on 2/1 and haven’t heard anything since, but I am receiving some credit because of donations I made to some charities. So that’s probably causing a delay, making them have to verify the information. We will see. I’m sure i would have heard something by now if there was an issue. I might have to call and see.

If you read below I talk about this. same thing happened to me this year. I was unable to locate as Of the 9th. Called Monday he said it had been processed and approved and was waiting a DDD. Tuesday it had updated with DDD and my funds were DD yesterday! Good luck! -

They called me yesterday and said the process was complete and i should recieve my refund within 15 days and since they called me it wouldnt show on the website. Well i checked the website anyways lol and it says I will get it on 2/12

@Will : I called on Monday. The guy on Monday said they couldn’t find my information. So, I called back Tuesday. The guy said he showed them and that he would put in a refund request update. So that was Tuesday prob. around 10 / 11am. I got the call from a lady at the state this afternoon at 1:50pm.

I got a call from the state too. it was finished processing last night. The lady who called me said that since the refund request review was put in, there will be no more updates on the website and not to look at the website. Our information won’t be posted on there. So she said it was finished yesterday and to allow up to 14 business days to deposit.

yeah mine says unable to locate. and when they called me they said could take up to 15 days to get into my account? i called them yesterday and they said the same thing could take 15 days to get into my account. i got DD so idk whats going on this year with the state usually i would of had it already

yes i called them on 02/05 to ask about my return and said it was still processing and then they called 02/06 and stated it is being sent out now. i filed on 01/23 and got accept 01/24

Jacky, you actually got a call from the state? Was this after you called and they put in a refund request? I’m curious to know. I have hit my 12 bus. days. I called them yesterday and they said give it another 1/2 weeks for processing. I filed on the 19th. Approved the 22nd. Website states it’s received and pending.

not that i am overly worried about it, but now the online update seems like it is following what people have said about the phone operators…
on 2/6 at 2:30 AM it said my DD was delivered on 2/6
on 2/6 at 9 AM it said it was delivered on 2/7besides the date changing, the term “delivered” to me means “our part is done”, which made sense that on 2/6 they posted they had completed their job…but then again on 2/6 when they change it and say WAS “delivered” ie completed on 2/7 makes me wonder how one can claim that an action actually took place in the future.
too many years in business makes me over analyze semantics, but I have yet to meet anyone who can it was done in the future vs. it will be done in the future, and mix that with the date changing makes it look like we are just trying to pacify people.
sorry for the vent/rant, but we had a signifigant over payment, and I have no doubt if I owed them $6k, changing the date I made the payment, and giving false promises would lead to consequences….welcome to our government

You guys are already freaking out. They’re going to tell you 2 weeks or whatever just so you don’t keep calling. If you filled on or before the 29th you’ll get it this week. Probably before Friday.

Yes. E filed like I have the last 6 years on turbo tax. Did both federal and state together like always.
Just weird rep says they don’t have it. Website says received yet processing. Tomorrow marks my 12th day since it was accepted. Weird to hear it can take up to 4 weeks verbally when efiled??? Just doesn’t sound legit. -

Just got off the phone with a rep. Filed the 19th. “Accepted the 22nd”. It hasn’t arrived to them yet he shows. I filed with turbo tax. He said give it another week. So I’m assuming last the big glitch last year with early filers, same thing is happeneding? Maybe being pushed to the back? But again, he shows it hasn’t arrived in his system. Said could take up to 4 weeks for them to get it??? Makes no sense to me. I always file early since I get my W-9 handed to me middle of January. So weird.

I just called and was advised through the system my refund has not been processed. When I spoke to someone she confirmed they are still processing. She said it will take up to two weeks.
Previous years I have always had my return within 10 days of acceptance so they must be slammed this year…

Talked to a real person who told me there is a bug with the website. He informed me our refund had been processed as of the 2nd but it could take up to 15 days from now :O he said there was no set direct deposit date. Curious to hear what anyone else gets from calling them directly

@FD I filed Jan-22-18 and was accepted Jan-24-18. You should be able to file now.
Anyone who gets theirs deposited, please post. While not mine, it will help give an idea of when I ‘might’ see a DD date.
Arizona Tax refund website is never up to date in my case. For awhile I was processing and now all information is missing. Go figure.

I filled late night on 1/23, accepted 1/24, aztaxes said no info from 2/2-2/6. Then it changed to DDD of 2/8. Received money in account from AZ on 2/9. Worked out well because that’s my son’s birthday.

Nope. I was just looking into that. I filed and was accepted on 1/21. I got my federal refund on 2/4. The az website still can’t find any info about my tax refund even though I am using the correct info. Very irritating. The AZ website says to expect a refund (if you efile) within 7-10 business days at the earliest. I seem to recall it taking forever for their website to update last year, too.

I jut got a letter from the IRS stating my return is under review. I have heard nothing on my AZ state return, but since I’m unemployed, I’m a little panicked about any delay in my refund. I understand the IRS can take weeks, but will this stop my state refund as well or are they completely separate?

The tax program I used, http://www.freetaxusa.com, is showing that it was accepted by the state of AZ. However when I check on their e-services website for where’s my refund there is no info available for my SSN. I have never used this website to do my taxes, never will again and would never recommend it…BTW…LOL So I don’t know if I’m having issues because of this website, as I did have trouble with my Fed return…they had to reduce my refund amount because some of the wording was confusing and I entered in a few things wrong. Could this be why my AZ refund is delaying?
