      Hi, I’m confused. I keep hearing that there is an increase in the child tax credit but I already filed before this was put into action. Do I need to amend my returns? How will this work for those of us who have already filed and received our returns?

          Increase is for 2021, not 2020. Unemployment change is for 2020 not 2021. Only need to file amended return if you had unemployment.
