I’ve come to the conclusion that all of us with cycle code ending in 05 (weeklies) will not see an update on our transcript until Friday and a direct deposit date on WMR on Saturday or Sunday. I just hope the direct deposit date is before next Friday!! Some of us will still receive funds sooner depending on the bank you used!!

The first mass update for is 05ers that are also PATHers will be this Friday for transcripts to give the 846 and Friday night into Saturday morning for WMR to update. It will most likely be a DDD of Wednesday the 27 because Saturday updates are always for Wednesday’s unless there’s a Monday holiday that week (the holiday was this week, so the ddd will fall back on Wednesday.)

It’s taking forever because Path wasn’t lifted until Friday the 15th. Weeklies (05) are only processed on Thursdays, and their transcripts get updated on Fridays following the completed process day. Last Thursday was the 14th- which meant PAthers couldn’t legally get processed, so This Thursday will be the first Thursday that weeklies will be allowed to get processed. You will see a TON of us get 846 codes on the transcripts this Friday and updates on WMR Saturday morning. As long as you have no hold codes on your transcripts, I wouldn’t worry.

The thing that really doesn’t add up for me is that I’ve always gotten my DD on a Thursday. I have a traditional bank so no early deposit. I’ve been weekly for 9 years and it’s always been on a Thursday.

IRS has told pathers to call if they don’t get their deposit by the 27th which means if it doesn’t come tomorrow, it would either be the first year it didn’t come on Thursday or I’m going to be making a phone call.

I’m a weekly as well. Since 2/16 I have been on “We received your return and it is being processed” since. I called to make sure there’s nothing wrong with my return and pretty much got the same you have to wait 21 days. The rep told me 21 calendar days and another rep told me it will be 21 days this Friday 🤷🏻‍♀️. Don’t know who to call anymore when the reps can’t even give consistency in their response.

Dee, I don’t understand it either. It confuses me. I do agree that everybody should be updated daily. What does it have to do with these codes??? Just release peoples money day by day. It never made sense to me. I just know that I am a weekly ending in 05 and mine WMR has always updated on a Saturday and transcript on a Friday. SAD!!!!

I have not been updated since the PATH act lifted. My transcripts haven’t been updated either. Everyone should be daily…I don’t understand the weekly vs daily updates.

I hope not, but I’m beginning to think you’re right. I’ve read a few times where IRS agents told people or people read that they are doing daily updates for everyone because they are so backed up. I would love to know if any weekly has been updated since Saturday!
