      WTH is going on this year?!?!?!? the IRS is going through things i have never seen before.
      I filed on the 26th & was accepted the same day. The following Saturday i received an error code 9001. Called IRS & was told to call TPP, called TPP & they told me i wasn’t supposed to call them and asked me to call IRS back. Called IRS back and they told me TPP is wrong and to call back…called back TPP and they told me i was wrong and wouldn’t help me and told me to wait 21 days in order to ID verify.

      i had a simple return , nothing crazy why is everything so mixed up this year. Now i have to sit and wait 6 – 9 weeks in order for them to try and figure out if they want to help me.

      No bars on WMR just a big message asking me to call but when i do call no one wants to help.

      I officially hate the IRS- give me back my money.

          whats is the difference between an IRS agent and a tax Advocate? @Meow

            Can a tax advocate help maybe? Maybe they can call and use their “authority” to get a straight answer? I don’t know, I’ve never done it, but it sounds plausible.
