After being able to order return transcript Can this be possible? PLEASE READ

So after ordering a return transcript it means your done processing. Which is how it has been for a few years now. Is it even remotely possible for the IRS to put you under review for wage verification after your done processing? It just seems to make no sense to me it sounds ass backwards to approve and finish processing then go back and verify someones wages.

Filed and accepted 1/28… Able to order return transcripts on 2/12 but no update although many others in same boat were finally able to order and got their DDD… So makes me wonder if they are still waiting for verification but does not make sense if you can order return transcripts and then flagged? Any things possible … With IRS hoping it’s just fluke and we get refund without the update …

@Taramg6 I did not even mention your name in this post so you kind of put yourself out there by saying it was you. Its not that I do not believe you. I just find it hard to believe they would let someone order a return transcript then ask for wage verification. That is extremely backwards. Yes IRS reps have been telling people all kinds of crazy things. I was told I was under review and did not have to do anything for 60 days just sit and wait. Then I was told I needed to ID verify which is what I did then the hold was removed and I went back into processing. On Thursday 2/11 I was able to order my return transcript so now I just need the DDD. Your the only one I seen post this so I was asking has anyone ever heard of this happening. You said there was a Forbes article about this I looked for one and did not find one.

I got accepted on 1/19. Wasn’t able to order my return and refund transcripts until last Tuesday. I didn’t get a refund date though until last night. A week later almost. So hang in there.

It’s assumed you’re done processing when transcripts can be ordered, because that’s the case for so many people, & most of those people receive DDD’s the next day or a couple days after, BUT, some people were able to order transcripts, never recieved a DDD the days to follow, & got a BLANK transcript in the mail once it finally came in. Idk, maybe some major correlation in that. Maybe a system error that allows them to order return transcripts before done processing, then sends blank because obviously it wasn’t done? Not saying this is the case, just saying it made sense to me that some people never received a DDD after ordering return transcripts, then got them in blank!

I completely hope you are correct. However, please don’t indicate that I’m just making things up or anything of the sort. If you read the other forums and post I am not the only person this is being told to. Unless the irs and tax advocates are just making this up to cover their mistakes…..which I believe could be possible….it is what is being told to myself and MANY others. Just look at my original topic and the people whom have responded as well as the Facebook igmr page. Lots of people are being told the exact same thing and are having to send pay stub and other things proving income AFTER being able to order their return transcripts……again the it’s is so full of bs but I don’t understand anything about why No DDD after return transcripts except this….. :(

@Christie .. Exactly I experience the same thing too. Never have I had the ability to order my return transcript and NOT get a DDD. I know the IRS is behind. I was asking bc I seen someone post that a Tax advocate told them today IF you was able to order your return transcript and not get a DDD today it means your in wage verification. Makes no sense to me….lol I see so many people posting things here you cant really take some people serious.

Every year I have my bars disappear. I looked at my Facebook chat messages with friends dating back to 2010. So I think everything is ok. I’ve always experienced once my transcripts were available I was done. And I called last year and asked because my DDD never showed up. Last year I was told “get you’ve got a transcript now you’re good to go.” I’ve never had a DDD before my deposit posted. So I’d wait a bit before getting upset. Call Tuesday and find out what’s really going on. I ordered and my bars disappeared but according to an article I read that’s only because too many ppl are trying to access WMR at one time.
