Account transcript amount 🆘

I printed my 2020 account transcript and it shows account balance -$7287. In the ” tax per return” line the amount is $3296. It also has that amount at the bottom where my transactions start. It says
Tax return filed
Cycle 20211005
Date 3-29-2021
Amount $3296

Can someone clue me in one what my refund is because neither amounts are what I was expecting.

The 570 is a freeze and 971 indicates communication sent. Check out some of the other threads on those topics, along with those mentioning Recovery Rebate and “line 30.” I don’t know about the stimulus part; they should go off 2019.

Cory, 20210801 means processed on Friday, Feb. 19.

Did you get your DD? On Thurs., 2/25? Or do you have codes like 570 and/or 971 on your transcript?

That cycle code translates to processing on Thursday, March 11. Generally, it’s 6 days from updating the IMF (IRS Master File) to DD. If you have TC 846, you would probably have a DDD of 3/17.

The negative number means the IRS owes you that. If the balance were positive, that would be the amount you owe.

The amount that you will receive is on the 846 refund issued line. The other lines are credits or federal withholding.
