PNC Bank hit for me in Ohio by the midnight hour of New Year’s Day. Frankly, I’m pleasantly surprised; I didn’t think it would be available to me any sooner than after midnight Sunday night.

570 is account hold; 971 is notice sent. You want “846 refund issued.”

Redd, your state’s revenue website should have a refund tracker.

Jacc, a cycle code ending “05” means the IRS processes it on a Thursday. However, if you still have TC 570 but no 571 or 846 — unfortunately — I can’t give you any assurance that a refund is coming soon. When they last looked, whatever they were looking to find still wasn’t there. Wage verification, perhaps?

Jacc, the IRS dates appear to ALWAYS be posted for the third Monday afterward — usually 18 days.

Your date of 7/20 indicates they actually handled your return on 7/2 (this past Thursday).

Hopefully your return has been processed and you get a DDD of 7/8.

Transcripts update one day after processing, and WMR updates the day after transcripts do. It has appeared to me that most filers see WMR update on a Saturday.

Kim, is it 570 & 971 for 3/9? I wouldn’t think you’d have a 570 and a 571 resolution on the same day; I would expect the 571 TC to be much more recent.

JACC, a 2nd impact payment has not been passed by both houses and signed into law. Don’t hold your breath.

I guess the IRS has problems updating their software. The deadline to file was pushed back to 7/15, yet people are getting automated letters two months after the OLD filing deadline.

The date after the 846 TC is your DD date. Check WMR.

Norm, it’s not instantaneous, but it’s quick enough. The IRS does mass processing on Thursdays. That work gets reported on transcripts on the following day. WMR reflects that activity another day later (Saturday), and the DD hits the bank on the following Wednesday. Six days.

Ladyk239, usually the timeframe from IDV to DD is three weeks or less. No, it doesn’t really take nine weeks, in most cases, but that’s what they’re required to tell you (as the 5071C letter also says).

I haven’t seen anything stating that the government has passed another relief package and it has been signed into law. I do believe they’re trying to pass another package. Remember, the first one took a little while.
