      Anyone ever had an debt through AAfees? My friend said she had one that was sent to collections in May 14 and called the offset line. They said her return may be offset. Will they take it this tax season or next tax season or will they take it at all?

          Ok she was wondering since they sent it to a collection agency.

            @Ashley: If the Treasury Offset Hotline indicated that they found a debt for her social security number, the Treasury Department will usually offset her refund to pay the delinquency. If any balance is let over after the debt is paid, she will receive the remainder.
