Ok so I filed 1/30 received state and went towards my student loan. On February 10th I received my 4464C letter. Yesterday marks 30 days since I got the letter and they said I should have it within 60 days of the letter. Does anyone know what the hold up. I’ve tried calling the irs they said they don’t need anything from me. I’m just confused as to what the hold up is I have a very basic return. I’m just so frustrated!! Any opinions are welcomed

Hi, I too am in the same boat. I filed 2/3 was accepted 2/4, Received my full state refund 2/8, got a 4464C letter dated 2/13. & have received no letter/call NOTHING from them. Today marks day 60 Exactly so I actually just got called & finally got through to the IRS less than 5 min. ago and was told my issue was they needed to verify w/my employer that I worked for them and amount I made, etc. I just started working in May of Last year. The IRS agent I spoke with was Very Nice & said That is all that they needed was to verify w/my Employer & I should see refund date on WMR after April 20th. which will be day 67 Next Monday. He said if I don’t hear/see anything by that date to call because then they would put in a notice to release my refund. I have no idea if it will happen all I can do is wait & check WMR 1x a day. I’ll definitely keep you posted. One way or another WE WILL get our Refunds! Hopefully sooner than later.
