424 Examination Requested

      Ok so my transcript finally updated & is stating an examination is requested. I have reviewed my return & located the error. However no letter has been received. Can I go ahead & amend my return to correct the error? Or what should I do?

          I got 424 then 420.my Tax Advocate told me to amend,
