2/2 filed and accepted same day

I filed and was accepted 2/2 Still no update on WMR. any idea of when my DDD will be? Hopefully this Friday ??

Carmelpop, the IRS did away with viewing transcripts online this year to (hopefully) scale back on fraud. You can only order them by mail. Some say the ability to order a return transcript is indicative that your return has been processed and I tend to believe that. I was stuck on one bar for almost 2 weeks, but the day after I could order my return transcript, WMR updated with a DD date.

WMR updates every single night so it’s possible you could see an update any day. Mine updated on a Saturday with my DD date.

I think what yo u may have seen is info on tax preparation sites that says wait 72 hours to check refund status if you e-filed. At least that is what TurboTax and TaxAct said in their information from last year’s tax season. It would be great to see actual turnaround times like that, but it’s not the norm. I think the days of super fast refunds are gone for good.

I read it somewhere I can’t remember where now. I’m not saying I think they ARE doing a 72 hour turnaround. Just that I had read it somewhere and I didn’t think it would be an unreasonable expectation for them to process/approve within a 72 hour window. Then a DDD given after the 72

Where’s the 72 hours coming from? It might be when some are approved, but I don’t think the majority are seeing turnaround times like that. It was 9 full days from the time I filed/accepted until WMR update to show a DD date and I was only able to order a refund transcript the day before.

You know I don’t think the 72 hours is an unreasonable expectation. But they are the government and like to take their sweet time and do things in the craziest orders lol. I read the 72 hours thing somewhere before but I can’t remember where.

I filed on 2/2 and was accepted within minutes…as of today I can’t order transcripts and nothing has updated…no approved or anything…I thought they approved them within 72 hours? Guess not?

I filed 2/2 & got accepted the same day & i still have 1 bar with tax topic 152 smh ????

F/A 2/2 around 3-4pm showed on WMR instantly :) hopefully we will see something this week :) if you are a weekly check Saturday AM for WMR updates

catwoman I filed 1/27/16 and have only 1 bar since then. going on 12 days with no update.

i filed 2/2 with turbo tax and was accepted right away, and i still have one bar with code 152 and cant order teturn transcript as yet
