2/4-2/11 Filers — What's your Status?

F/A 2/6, got screwed with a 4464c letter dated 3/14 60 day review. Same job kids address bank etc.

E-Filed 2018 and accepted 2/7, mailed in 2017 return mid January and 2/27 went to 9001 instructing me to contact them for both returns
I called 2/28 and was told there was nothing wrong with both tax returns and they were still being processed but I do owe them $5100.00 due to a 2016 audit where my son’s father also filed him even though he’s not in the picture and he dummied docs and they gave him the right to claim that year since he supposedly made more money than me. 3/6 received a letter in the mail letting me know I have earned my right to claim EIC again and I should receive my return within 6 weeks… I’m praying that I get an update for my 2018 Friday night with wed DDD! However I’m going to have to call tomorrow about my 2017 since it wasn’t showing in their system until 2/27 when I had the 9001 on both returns and as soon as my 2018 went back to processing my 2017 went back to not being in their system?? 😒 This is the worst tax season ever and I hope it’s not like this next year!

Called the IRS 3 times this week, just to see if they were going to give me different answers. They all said that my return was sent to the errors department the first week I filed. The error was corrected. I started reprocessing on 2/20, and I have a date of 3/20 to get a DDD. I asked if it could be earlier, she said she hasn’t seen any go out earlier than the date they are given on the system.

Our refund is slightly higher because I didn’t have any 1099’s from side jobs. Everything is else has been the same for 5+ years.

2/7 Filer- (efile through TT, so it was accepted 2/7)

2/12 WMR loses bar and Still processing, but everything else is present

2/28 Transcripts show 20190805 processing code, etc, then 570 3-18-2019.

3/7- no letters, no updates, and no changes. Sick of the BS. It’s not their money, and they work for us. The hypocrisy is sickening. They enforce due dates and demand transparency upon taxpayers, but don’t reciprocate.
