1541?

Screw Taxes
Id verified last week. Yesterday I updated to the processed message and now this morning I wake up to a delay message with code 1541. Anyone know what this means?

  I had this exact thing. I filed/accepted 1/23. I got a letter on the 2/6ish to ID verify couldn’t do it over the phone so I went in on 2/13. After I did that my WMR changed to the 1541 code. I just now as of this morning went to having a DD set for 3/1. So what I was told by multiple IRS agents was the 1541 means review. It just delays your refund hopefully not too long. This has, without a doubt, been the most stressful and frustrating tax season in my life. But I hope this helps some of you guys out and hope you move quicker then I did.

  Yeah no offset for me. I even called the offset line to make sure. Nothing to do but wait it out I guess. Gotta love the IRS.

  Yea mine is literally the same situation as yours word for word. I’ve heard it means nothing and its just a delay. I’ve heard its a glitch. I’ve heard it means u have an offset which we don’t. So I have no clue

  I was actually accepted January 23rd. Had to id verify last week and now this 1541 crap.

  I had to verify identity last Wednesday and then woke up today with 1541. Was accepted way back in January. This is crap.
