So I finally received my letter from the IRS on Tuesday I believe. I filed with TT and they did not have the option to enter my healthcare form 1095-A and I had heard that it was optional(it wasn’t) this year. Well I had also filled out a return with H&R block to see if my refund would be a different AMT, it wasn’t but I filed with TT bc H&R block wldnt let me complete the final steps and after 4tries I was annoyed. Well, turns out the letter from the IRS was for a copy of my 1095-A && a filled out 8962 form which is hard to figure out(YouTube it, it helped me fill out entire form!) Anyways, after completing the form I was even no money owed whereas when I had filled out my taxes with H&R they told me I owed 1$. So now idk what to do bc I went back over the info I filled out on the 8962 numerous times and it was all entered right. Once I send the forms in i I have to wait 6-8wks for my taxes or a response from the IrS OR I could amend my taxes and wait 16-20wks for my taxes. Long story short TT sucks, I won’t be filing with them next year and I pray that H&R block was wrong and i dont owe money. Shit Is ridiculous.

When did you file? How long till a letter was received?
