I’m having a csection the 17th so we are saving 2grand for hubby’s time off. I need a few baby things to get and then of course the 3d tv that the hubs wants. We are getting the 10k overpayment we are owed back. Funny how quick they were to tax us 30% on hubby’s severance and now it takes forever to get it back.

Keeping afloat after having been laid off just before Thanksgiving :( That’s okay though. It could be worse. I could have NO refund coming and not be able to pay bills. So I’m staying grateful :)

We are going to get a car, then groceries (1 turkey & 1 chicken from having a empty freezer), then we want to take the kids to the beach for some fun because they’ve been stuck at home other than school for months…not had a big enough vehicle for all of us to go anywhere together :)

I’m paying to fix my car which has been in the shop since December. And I am also paying to fix my MIL’s car which needs a new motor. Then I am putting the rest back for a rainy day. I’ve had way to many of those this year!
