@Sheila_33: WMR not updated but my account shows TC 846 5-17-2021. finally, after 12 weeks, no errors, no letter, a gazillion calls and excuses. Hope this is good news for all waiting so long.

  3. 1040x 2020 tax transcripts and refund date

@1040x 2020 tax transcripts and refund date: correction refund issued: … I just read the input regarding transcript unreliable for refund information. However last season I kept checking my transcript account, and it was pretty spot on. Everything it stated, was followed through with equivalent actions on those given dates. However, maybe not all accounts are updated the same, I can only reference my own situation and past experience. Everyone’s situation may result differently.

@raybay3030: per my transcripts it says credit to account 4/15/2021 and at the bottom it says refund sent 4/21/2021. So my guess is the 21st. However my tax return was amended 1040x, and mailed in. 21 days from the date of mailing, is 4/17/2021. So it’s right at the 3 week mark. But, the amount on my current refund date 4/21, is only for the original tax refund amount before my amended return. The transcripts do show an adjustment date (additional action) on 4/26/2021 and a notice being mailed out 5/3/2021. So I’m assuming that’s regarding the additional refund amount thereafter. But we’ll see.

@Emperor312: if you filed through HR Block or other tax agencies and opted to have fee deducted from refund…it’ll go to them first…they deduct their fees and forward the balance to your bank account

@Emperor312: The 290 is additional tax assessed in case you owe a federal or state debt. Since this stimulud payment can’t be taken, everyone should have a 0. The 1/18 is the date you should receive your refund by, otherwise it tells the system that the payment was not made.

So mine says, “846 refund issued 01-04-2021” but it has not hit the bank account, and GMP says “not available” ; mine also says on the next line “290 Additional tax assessed 01-18-2021”

I am getting a lot of conflicting stories in articles about what this means. I did use Turbo Tax, and had the refund pay the fee, but if I look up on my transcript it says “846 refund issued 04-15-2020” and that was the day the first one hit my bank account.
