IRS issued my refund but then money card sent it back

During the 2015 tax season I had a refund that was approved I got my state and my federal both deposited to a Walmart money card I spent roughly $1,700 before my money card was blocked and held until I sent in my ID which I did three times it was still blocked( saying my id was not clear enough ) and then I received a message from the Walmart miner card stating they were returning the remaining money back to the irs (which they didn’t officially do that for another 5 weeks) they said I contact the IRS 2 months after this happened and they said that they had no knowledge of it and then the lady finally found my refund because it was a different amount then they originally sent me because I had spent the $1,700 so she sent a request to the special accounts team and I just received a letter saying I do not mean to provide any additional information but give them about 30 additional days for processing. Has anyone had this happen? It’s beginning to take a toll on me.
