      Hi, first off, thank you for having this site and putting your time and effort into answering questions. If you don’t mind helping to answer this question, i’d be very grateful. Some WMR inquiries have the “For Tax Year Ending Dec. 31 2016” on them with the PATH message. Others don’t have the PATH message or the “For Tax Year” information. Can you help answer what the difference is or what it may or may not mean? If it helps, I filed early – my return was accepted 1/12/17 and I do have the PATH message with the “for the tax year” on my WMR. Thank you so much!!
