Anybody else waiting for a letter?

      Filed 1/26
      Accepted 1/29
      “Still processing” 2/3
      ACTC credit
Transcripts say “No tax record on file” as of date 3/5/18
New Address, Same Job, Same Kids, No marketplace Insurance
Tax Refund maybe a grand more than normal but I went to school all year for once and paid a little more for daycare plus made a little more too.
Broke down and called IRS 2/21 was told that my return is on hold pending a response from a letter that I should receive by the 27th. Rep didn’t tell me what letter. Even still this morning no letter coming (I have informed delivery).
The only change I’ve had is my account transcript as of date went from 2/19 to 3/5.

I’m so stressed. It’s not that I can’t manage but it’s nice to have lump sum for once. Pay down things and stuff. Never happened to me before but what I have learned is I won’t be filing ever again before 3/1. Never again!

@justagey I totally feel your pain. I don’t see anything coming today either which is beyond frustrating. I’ve seen some people who have id verified and are getting DDD. That’s hopeful at least. I’m not sure what type of letter I’m getting the rep wouldn’t tell me. I just want it so I have an idea what’s going on. My transcripts are still blank as well.

I had my return accepted on 2/1.

I called Friday, and asked what was going on. I was told they didn’t even start processing it until 2/12, and that I was mailed “a letter” on 2/20, which I hope I receive this week (I also have informed delivery, so I know it’s not coming today).

I asked if it was an ID verification, and the person said yes.

New job, new address (changed states).

I’m really hoping it gets here soon and they’re prompt after I respond; I was fully expecting to have my refund by now.
