Hello everyone I got a ddd for 3/23 had to idverify twice once online second over the phone got accepted 1/26 verified online but that is not for the verification needed for the irs that is only to access transcripts and other information I had a still being processed message for 2 months finally called the irs got thru and the verified over the phone took 4 days verified Monday got ddd friday bank with chime I hope this helps

My tax transcripts finally showed up yesterday, but the refund amount is different then the 846 issued. It looks like they only refunded the taxes I paid, but the CTC and EIC was not included. I do qualify for the CTC and EIC but today the WMR just says that it’s being reviewed and tax topic 151. It says the 846 shows 3/23, but does this mean that I am only getting the portion I paid and they are reviewing the credits?

Good morning guys ! So I filed 1/28 . It was like 3/8 and I called them and they said they sent out a letter to me stating I needed to verify my identity but I never received it . So as soon as I got off the phone I verified the irs received that data 3/9. Today 3/17 my wmr finally updated to “ We have received your tax return and it is being processed” I hope this means they are finally moving along still no update in my transcripts though . Well, got a letter today. Turns out our return was sent to the “Rejects Team” (it’s literally called that lmao) because our Schedule A was “missing or incomplete” and they needed documentation for our Presidentially-Declared disaster losses (our house was very badly damaged in Hurricane Ida). So I just had to fax all that documentation. It says 6-8 weeks from “the time we receive your response”. Oh well. At least now I know what the hold up is.

Just got my refund this morning. WMR still shows processing message without refund amount. Refund was $1400 less which shows me even though I was VERY specific that I DID get my stimulus stupid turbo tax still added it and that probably delayed my refund. My return wss accepted the first day the season opened up.

The lady told me I needed to verify my identity and that a letter was sent out. I told her that I already did the id verify to get my transcripts online and she said that was all I needed to do. That’s the irs website and they had me upload my drivers license and then take a selfie. I’m not sure what that hold code could be for on yours. So when did you actually file an accepted because if you filed b4 opening day you get resequenced more then likely. Yes that’s good. I know they say still being processed doesn’t mean anything but that’s not true it could mean few things. If it didn’t mean anything it wouldn’t have different messages on WMR if they all meant same thing that’s wasted programming and money. Now still processing doesn’t mean same thing for everyone. Your moving in right direction can u see transcript.

The still processing message means they’re looking at your return for some reason. Could be for a list of different things but until they manually review your return you won’t see anything happen with your refund

I called 877 777 4778 which is for a tax advocate. But I had them transfer me to account management for the IRS. That was the only way to actually get through. The reps I had spoke to were able to tell me why I had an error and what it was. Turned out to be I under reported the ctc advance payments.

Tax advocate office (877) 777-4778 option 1 then option 1 again puts you right in a call que to speak to someone. On hold now says it will be 7-10 minutes.

When calling and hitting the options when you hit 1,2,1,3 and then 2 it say please wait. Then it will ask for social don’t hit nothing it will ask again don’t hit nothing… then it says to better service your call hit 2 before she even stops talking then hit 4. If the call que is not full it will go through. It was going through exactly at 7am now nothing. Just tried again. You have to call first thing in am is what I was told. It worked earlier but again not now.

I called 1(800) 829-1040 I didn’t listen to the prompts I just started hitting 1, 2, 1, 3, 2, then it placed me on hold wasn’t even able to hit no other number. Waited over a hour for my bad news. Big sigh🙄

F/A 1/25… 21 days was 2/14 1 bar whole time. Then path lifted 2/15…I never got the path message like years before but I got the still being processed. N/A for transcripts the entire time.

Anyone know what it could be? She said don’t even call the tax preparer they wouldn’t know why either. All I can do is wait. Why can’t they tell me more information?

Finally spoke to a lady at IRS she said I’ve been sent to the Errors resolution department and it could be 8 weeks from 1/26/22 which will be 3/24/22. It doesn’t say why, no letter no update on WMR or transcripts. She said it could be sooner but no way to tell keep checking WMR. Can’t qualify for advocate because it’s too early in Tax year. I’ve been on your refund is still be processed and a date will be provided when available since 2/15.

Filed on 1/18 with HR Block, accepted the same day claimed both credits. Never path message. Since the beginning one bar on WMR with message we received your taxes and it’s still been processing with the code 152. Today all my bars disappeared with the following message ” Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available. What the heck is going on??!!!

According to them. The more you make the more they take! So adding my son reduced my state from close to 5 thousand all the way to below 2 thousand

Why would adding a dependent reduce your refund.

I was in the exact same position yesterday! I called the IRS and found out that there was a systematic error that didn’t add one of my kids! We spent an hour+ fixing it over the phone. My transcripts and wmr still say the same thing as yours but it no longer says my 2021 taxes aren’t processed on my IRS account!!
