I lost bars on 3/6. WMR reported that my return is “still being processed and a date would be provided when available”
I called on 3/22 to find out that I was required to IDverify and the notice hasn’t been mailed yet. The IRS rep said I could verify online without the letter. I wasn’t able to verify online so I called in the following day to verify over the phone. The IRS rep told me that the IDverify hold resolved itself but that I had to wait 8 more weeks.

I checked wmr today and it’s reporting “Your return has been received and is being processed”.

Update: WMR updated this AM and reports that my refund was approved with a deposit date of 3/31.

The Where’s my payment tool reports my 3rd economic impact payment is “not available”.

I am not able to access my transcripts online. If one of you is then maybe you can shed some light on what’s really happening by looking into the codes on the transcript.

While “still being processed” means that the IRS can no longer guarantee your refund would be issued within 21 days. “Still being processed” may appear due to a simple error or some sort of notice which was to IDverify in my case.

I haven’t had a tax topic or bars since 3/6. My guess is that I was resequenced and wmr should update with a ddd within the next 2 weeks. My return was fairly simple without any dependents or eitc. I found a website that explained “being processed” means that the IRS has processed your return and a deposit date should appear on wmr soon.

Same. I had to id verify..did so 3 weeks ago. I went from Still being processed to ..being processed but no other updates since I passed the id verify. Do you have any tax topics? I lost my tax topic and bar on Feb 14th…and they have not returned even after id verify.

I just got the same message today. In this instance, I think that the change means progress finally!
